Stopped by at 230p on a Friday and the donuts I picked up were fresh! The flavors are not overly sweet and the donuts are a soft brioche style. They also sell a 6 pack of pre-made mini vegan donuts. No mix and matching but a great way to find your favorite flavor. Since these don't sell through as quickly, you might not get them "fresh out the oven" fresh, but I've never had a stale donut here. Great place to stop by after a great vegan meal at Seabirds Kitchen next door or Native Foods across the street. Parking at The Lab is always a struggle so if the lot is full, just bite the bullet and valet.

I'll admit, I still have not purchased one of these donuts. However, I have been tempted several times and stopped by during the evenings. Unlike many non-vegan stores that tend to run out of their vegan options toward the end of the day, this place has consistently had plenty, even twenty minutes to closing. They also said they make them throughout the day, so you won't be getting a stale donut if you're not first in line in the morning.

Vegan Donuts! - Edit
I was meeting a friend at Seabirds and noticed here on Happy Cow that there was a donut shop at the Lab as well. It's actually right next door to Seabirds, so can't be missed while at the Lab. They have several unique vegan flavors to choose from which are clearly labelled. We got the raspberry pistachio, blood orange and chocolate cocoa nibs to share. They were delicious and pretty. As always, wish they were an all vegan shop as I would then give them five cows instead of four.
