I left a review on Google and will leave one here too. We went out of our way after leaving Asheville to try this place. Got there and it was closed. No hours updated on google, happy cow, or their website. I looked at their Facebook and there was a post about closing for winter.

So to alert others about this winter closing, I left a 4 star review to ensure it did not negatively affect this business, shared my disappointment I wouldn't get to try their food but looked forward to it when they were open again.

That said, the response from the owner was unappreciated and it's put a bad taste in my mouth so I have no intention of visiting. I was misgendered, told they were "disappointed" in me, and claimed I had made a bad review that would negatively affect their business. (Again, 4 stars, nothing negative said. Expressed excitement to try the food.)

I do hope others will still visit as I've heard good things about the food and service. I just personally had an all around bad experience with going out of the way to find it closed and then getting a response that I understand comes from a place of pain through a difficult situation (the owner said they had a death in the family), but certainly made me feel as if it was intended to guilt me into removing my review.
