fast food for everyone - Edit
I’ve eaten from their food truck (famous burger) and their Dundas brick and mortar (chicken burger and fries) and all their food stands up against traditional fast food in taste but without the cruelty. Maybe not food you should eat every day (like any fast food) but a fantastic treat!

Amazing - Edit
Tried Globally Local in London. My son said the Famous Burger (like a Big Mac) was awesome. I had the Crispy Chicken (like a McChicken) and it was so good. And no sick feeling after like you get after eating McD’s.

Vegan Junk Food! - Edit
In between a wedding event, me and wannabe Vegans headed to this place in downtown London.
Read moreBecause of all the construction going around right at the door step the place is temporarily not properly accessible but a short walk does the trick. The place does perhaps need some minor makeover and perhaps some brighter lights. There was a self order system that you can enter your order, however help, advise and suggestions are available from the super helpful staff. The staff were really awesome the Sunday late afternoon. Surprisingly there is a constant stream of customers.
Ordered quite a few stuff between the five of us. The famous burger (Big Mac), Mac n Cheeze with Bacun, ChickUn Souvlaki were among the best. We also ordered later a half n half order of wings and fingers. The girl on the counter was gracious and kind to give us that option as we were just trying things out. Crispy ChickUn, and ChickUn Cordon Bleu were a close second.
The Big Mac does come loaded with too much sauce - mayonnaise and other stuff. The fries and onion rings are amongst the best we have had. Just to try we took an order with Hash Browns and those were OK. The Mac n Cheeze does need a bit more cheezy flavour. We broke a ChickUn finger in it and it turned out amazing. The wings Korean style were OK, but the sauce is amazing. What we didn’t like was the texture. It felt too flat.
All in, quite pleased we got to eat some vegan fast (junk) food in London, which we didn’t expect at all while coming for the event. Would for sure come back and hope they open one in GTA.
Pros: All Vegan, Junk Food
Cons: Junk Food

Must try the milkshakes or sundaes. Best vegan soft serve there is! Everything made to order.

Yummy food but super greasy - Edit
The burger and Mac and cheese I got here was super delicious but I felt so gross after from all the grease😒But it is a super great option for people who love fast food! The gluten free bread wasn’t amazing and I would of preferred a bun! And the fries were not gluten free which was disappointing. But like a said great option for vegans who love fast food!

This place has THE BEST vegan fast food I’ve ever had (better than beyond burger at A&W) and the staff are so friendly. It’s also inexpensive.

Very Good but Not Great - Edit
I'm always glad to find a vegan restaurant. I've also never found a bad one. While the food here is certainly worth the visit, it's not great, but consider that it is comfort food. Nothing exotic. A friendly place.

As a touring musician I am always on the hunt for vegan fast food and I was so stoked on it. I hope they find success and add many many locations across Canada! Make sure you add fries supremacy to whatever you order

Try the Pulled Jack - Edit
Great food and a welcoming environment.
Read moreI've been supporting Globally Local since they were a food truck and it's been great to see them grow and I'm happy to see them offer accessible vegan fast food to vegans and non-vegans alike.
The Famous Burger is great and a go to option of mine but their pulled jackfruit sandwich is the hidden star of the menu. I'm always happy to stop in for the occasional treat when I get the chance!
Pros: fast and accessible vegan food, reasonable prices, a number of locations

BEST VEGAN BIG MAC... EVER! - Edit
I’ve tried making my own version of the vegan Big Mac at home and I’ve also tried the famous one from Doomie’s in both Toronto and LA. The big mac from Globally Local is out of this world! I even had my non-vegan friend try it and said it both tasted and smelled like the real thing. I decided to order via UberEats and it was very reasonably priced, hot and delicious.

Best burger ever! - Edit
Traveling with work again, checked my Happy Cow. Cow says try Globally Local, looks yummy. Cow is so right. Excited to find a vegan "burger joint." So I'm a new vegan and I have to confess that burgers have been my thing for many years. But after the shocking truth in Cowspiracy, I couldn't go back. So I've been adjusting and learning to like new things. Today was honestly a treat to walk into Globally Local. I liked every single thing on the menu before me. Settled on a Big Vopper combo. Where have you been all my life?? And why aren't you in every city?! Seriously delicious burger and the fries were outstanding. Left deliriously content. And there's delivery through Just Eats too! Will definitely be coming back.

I have never been a fast food person - Edit
I have only visited the Globally local food trucks and the Globally local location on Highbury with the drive thru. I have never been someone who loves fast food, and the meat equivalents with a chicken burger or a big mac were never my thing.
Read moreI'm sure someone who loves fast food but has gone vegan or vegetarian will love the burger options but I was not a huge fan (not because they were bad, but just because I didn't like the originals much either!). I look forward to trying the breakfast menu and some of the other options on the menu since I am slowly going to try to work my way through all of them. I did enjoy the french fries that I tried. I was disappointed that the soft serve machine was not working when I visited.
Glad to see this chain expanding and doing well. If you like fast food, definitely check it out! Its exactly what I expected it would be.
Pros: Whole menu Vegan with lots of options, Affordable and fast, All day breakfast
Cons: Highbury location looks a bit dated, Soft Serve machine was broken

Vegan fast food - Edit
As far as fast food goes, I can't see how they don't get anything less than 5 stars. But obviously this isn't a gourmet restaurant. I think they meet all expectations and it's a place I will be going to often when I'm downtown. Between the downtown and Highbury locations, I've eaten here five times now, and I will rank my favourite entrees below in order.
Read more1. Gyros. This pita is fantastic. The tzatziki sauce is especially tasty.
2. Vegan Vopper. Basically like a BK Whopper but with tempeh bacon and cheese added. A really great burger, and much better than the Famous Burger.
3. Chickun Sandwich. About what you'd expect for a fried chicken sandwich. Good flavour and crispiness.
4. Famous Burger. Although this is what made them famous, I actually thought it was the worst thing I've tried so far. It's not bad, but it just really lacks flavour compared to the other things listed above. The 'Mac sauce' is a bit bland and doesn't have that kind of 'zing' flavour.
I've also tried the Fries Supremacy and the Caesar Salad. Both are great side dishes that I would recommend.
Pros: Full fast food menu

Food always delicious. Never waiting long for meals. Employees warmly welcome new folks which I think is important for the movement.
Read moreThe fries are top tier for London fast food- crispy outside, soft inside, and consistent.
It's nice to see the variety of events Globally Local gets involved in; sometimes ballsy (see Ribfest) and that's alllriiight.
These cats seem like a stand up company and I try to pop in at any chance.
Oh yeah great tunes, too. Dance party at the sandmich board.
At the end of the day if all you want is yummy downtown fast food then check this place out, torment-free products aside.

great chickun sandwich! - Edit
I visited this place yesterday for takeout and got the chickun sandwich which was very, very tasty. It had a satisfying texture- a nice firm patty- and was probably the most convincing chickun burger I've ever had. I've tried a few places in Toronto and they don't quite measure up. The fries were thicker cut and tasted double fried. Very yum! Will definitely be coming back!

Great Vegan Fast Food - Edit
I went here after a night of drinking and ordered the Big Mac meal. I've never had a Big Mac so I can't attest to the authenticity of it, but both the burger and fries were delicious. It's not healthy by any means but it's a great way to treat yourself. Plus, it's open 24/7!

Good Fast-Food place for a Vegan - Edit
I personally enjoyed the food there well, I had the mac 'n' cheese and got the great gyro to bring to work with me the next day. I thought the food was good, however, I brought some non-vegan friends and they only kinda liked it. The "chicken" in the ceaser salad was spongey.

The food here is really good! It isn't meant to be the healthiest option, however, what it lacks in health it makes up in taste and expression. Great fast food option. Try it at least once, or twice!

Exceptional burger and Pulled Jack sandwich. We shared a Mac and "Cheeze", it was not very good, in fact, we tossed most of it. However, that being said, I cannot wait to go back. Very good prices and a decent selection.
