Great sit down real restaurant.

Often eating vegan seems like a cafe. This is more of a dining experience. Full bar, nicer than most places. Very nouvelle cuisine sizing. Always as a 2-3 corse prix fix. Lentil loaf was very good. We like all our dishes. They fully explain each dish.
Mostly vegan. Some dishes had dairy.

Cons: Limited menu

Lovely evening

I went here last week for the first time, I find it quite difficult to find a nice vegetarian and vegan restaurant close to the South side of Dublin and I thought I'd give this a shot, it didn't disssapoint, I went with someone in a wheelchair and was glad to see there was wheelchair accessible bathrooms and they opened the door for us on entry so access was perfect there too and plenty of space in between tables. The staff could not have been nicer and the food was good, I wouldn't say exceptional enough to match to the price but the desert (white chocolate ganache) was incredible. The only negative thing I could say about this place is the menu is very limited, it could be easily doubled in size to attract people back again as they really have the monopoly on vegetarian restaudsrant dining, I would recommend this place and hats off to them, they are so professional and informative as they explain every meal in detail.

Pros: Desert was outstanding , Staff so helpful and friendly, Wheelchair accessible

Cons: Expensive , Very limited menu

Smart n healthy

Interesting food combinations that worked, not overly spiced or sweet and beautifully presented.
There’s non alcoholic mocktails, beer & wine too.

Pros: Almost half the menu is Vg or could be adapted to, Great place for a date

Cons: Higher price end of your options in Dublin

Lovely spot

Food was great and really worth a try for someone interested in high end vegan dishes that doesn't rely on meat replacements. Waiters were super nice and atmosphere was great. Will definitely recommend this place.

Cons: Bit on the pricey side

Once off

A beautifully decorated classy restaurant, lovely staff, exquisite tasting food. But very small portions, and highly priced.
As a party of 4, we all noted that chair height was unaligned to table height, which made for very uncomfortable seating

Pros: Lots of vegan dishes

Cons: Expensive , Small portions , Very uncomfortable seating

Vegans avoid this one

Overpriced food. Pretentious in terms of how they create the food and the appearance of the restaurant. They also completely miss out taste and quality. They also miss out carbs. Food felt mostly slimey and oily. Three course meal and we got home hungry. Not cool.
Waitress kept bugging us asking if we were ok. Far too many times.
True vegans need to avoid this place.

Pros: Socket at table so one of us charged the phone., Reasonable lighting., Took our coats.

Cons: Not enough on the plate., No carbs. Went home hungry., Irritating waitress.

Special occasions

Dublin lacks on fine dining options and Glas is a great option for when celebrating special occasions! I have been to Glass three times and service was always great and food quite tasty too! Portions are quite small but still enough to fill you up. I love the way the food is presented too 😍

Good upscale food

Not a lot of vegan options but everything was really tasty and nicely presented. Quite expensive but worth it nonetheless.

#1 spot for a romantic vegan dinner

I have been here three times and it has become the go-to spot for my boyfriend and I when we want to have a romantic dinner or we want to celebrate an occasion. The food is consistently amazing with a range of really creative, amazing options. I would also really recommend the prosecco! The staff are also very friendly and it has a great ambience.

Pros: Innovative vegan and vegetarian options , Great wine selection, Friendly staff + nice ambience.

Fantastic, fancy and vegan friendly

Arrived 40 minutes late to our booking and the hosts were gracious and personable, and ensured we had a seat.

The food was spectacular - nachos were tasty, but the highlight of the meal was the courgette fries. SO TASTY!

Broccoli fritters, and the baked cauliflower were incredible.

The wine and cocktails can be prepared vegan too.

Menu changes each season - food is so good we had to go back the following night!

Upmarket veggie restaurant

Really nice restaurant for a more non casual atmosphere. Nice menu choices and good options for the early bird menu. Would like to see more allergens listed on the menu or specifically what is in certain dishes as I have a citrus allergy and a salad I got didn't mention any citrus ingredients but it was served with a citrus dressing. Despite that I like the menu and will go back.

Pros: Many vegan options

Cons: Not all ingredients listed

Amazing Vegan Food

First outdoor dining experience after lockdown. Loads of options and good set menu/early bird menu. One of the best vegan restaurants I’ve been to. Staff were really friendly.

Creative vegan/veggie food

Delicious, creative dishes, full of flavour, excellent presentation and very friendly, helpful service. Definitely more fine dining which is reflected in the price, so probably more for special occasions rather than a casual lunch. Very good selection for vegans.

Decent food, points deducted for service

Based on my Jan 2020 visit the food was good -- though my buffalo cauliflower could have been seasoned and more thoroughly cooked. The restaurant space is lovely and cosy and there's a great selection of whole foods, though the price is a little high for the quality. I do appreciate the ethos of the restaurant and that the dishes rotate seasonally, leaving a great deal of variety. The service is the reason I'm giving three stars instead of four - a friend and I were not too pleased with the lack of attentiveness of the server particularly given that the restaurant was nearly empty when we were there. We also really didn't appreciate being rushed away from our table -- the server came over constantly and while we were paying our bill and grabbing our jackets to leave that they needed the table back at a specific time (we were well ahead of that time). Each time we respected what they said and assured them that we'd leave before that time but we were being hassled while trying to finish our meal nonetheless. I wouldn't mind as much but there were literally dozens of other tables available. This didn't make us feel particularly welcome, and for this reason I don't intend to return.

Pros: Cosy atmosphere, Good selection

Cons: Poor service, Expensive

Glas is back!!! YAAAAAAYYYYYYYY :)))))

Glas is a fantastic restaurant.
The staff are super-friendly and efficient, the food is imaginative and very tasty, the decor is elegant and the prices are surprisingly reasonable (try the early bird or set dinner menus)... but best of all it's open again after the lockdown!!!
This is the best Vegetarian / Vegan restaurant in Dublin, by several country miles.
Go there now!

Pros: Beautiful food, excellent value, professional friendly staff

Cons: can be difficult to get a table

Lovely food and atmosphere

We went to Glas twice in a week, once for lunch and once for dinner, and really enjoyed the experience. The staff are friendly, the decor pretty and the food inventive and tasty.

They're currently vegan/vegetarian with about half the menu available vegan, but according to the server the idea is to go fully vegan at some point.

We particularly enjoyed the corn and jalapeno fritters and mushroom pate starters, as well as the jerusalem artichoke and beet main. We thought the cauliflower 'ribs' and mushroom scallops could do with some more work. Finally, it would be great if they could make the chocolate mousse vegan (as it's so easy to do).

Overall, really nice and well worth going to.

Pros: Plenty of vegan optiona, Great atmosphere, Lovely staff

Oh Wow!

I believe this is the only vegetarian/vegan RESTAURANT in Dublin. What a gem. The ambience and environment is excellent. We had lunch today - a set menu - which had an equal mix of vegetarian and vegan options. The food is great, presented in a fine-dining fashion. The vegan wines are clearly labelled and there are choices. This is a restaurant as opposed to a café so expect the price to be reflective. We have had a great experience in Glas today and highly recommend it. The staff are great, friendly, welcoming and just so nice. If coming to Dublin this is a must do... In my opinion. 😉

Pros: All positive

Cons: Pricier than a café but the experience is worth it

Nice atmosphere and relaxing space bordering on fine dining

We ate here twice in as many days, once for dinner once for lunch. The dinner was amazeballs...innovative menu and the desserts were to die for. Great ambiance and decent jazz in the background at just the right volume. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The five stars is for the dinner we had, the lunch would only have been four stars perhaps, but in fairness we arrived shortly before the kitchen closed until dinner and perhaps things were wrapping up. Next time I'm in Dublin I'll be sure to give Glas another visit, lunch or dinner!

Pros: Great atmosphere , delicious dinner with a good vegan selection, friendly staff

Cons: Not exclusively plant-based, vegan lunch options were a bit limited

Delicious fine dining in the city centre

On a busy Saturday evening we were lucky to get a table at the bar without a reservation. We availed of the great value €19 2 course Early Bird menu. I tried the Sweetcorn and Jalapeno fritters for starter and spiced Cauliflower wings for main course. My wife had the pumpkin and cauliflower risotto main course and Eton mess for desert. All the food looked and tasted delicious and the portions were filling. The staff were friendly and the music was great. Recommended for a well priced evening of fine dining close to Stephens Green

Pros: Great Food, Good Value Early Bird, Comfortable

Glas restaurant

I was really looking forward to having dinner here a couple of night‘s ago but I ended up really disappointed. It‘s a beautiful space but it felt very crowded and hectic with servers and other guests bumping into my chair. But that would have been ok if the food had been good. My main (Cauliflower ribs) was spoiled for me because it had a lot of coriander on it (which is totally my fault because I forgot the mention that I cannot stand coriander) so I stuck to the side of polenta and chickpea fries which tasted of old oil. My friend who was with me did not enjoy her meal either (the ravioli, which I could not try because they had cheese in them). On top of that comes that the portions were tiny and the prices way too high. I ended up leaving hungry as I did not want to risk ordering an overpriced dessert.

Delicious vegan & vegetarian food

Delicious vegetarian & vegan food in a sophisticated & cool setting. The service was excellent and the food was so tasty & innovative. We loved having such a great choice of vegan dishes - rare for Dublin. The avocado tartar, tripple fried fries with vegan Parmesan & scallion Mayo and the mushroom ‘scallops’ are amazing. There’s also a good selection of vegan wines. Really loved this restaurant. Will recommend to our family & friends and will definitely be back!

Pros: Vegetarian & Vegan restaurant with delicious food, Excellent service , Cool setting
