Long-time favourite

I love Gingko-restaurant. There are always several vegan choices for every taste, and the food tastes great! They even have 3 different vegan breakfast options!
As Gingko is very popular, it is often crowded and you have to wait long, but it is worth it! So, bring some time, enjoy the atmosphere and the food!

Pros: many options for vegans, great food, nice atmosphere

Cons: waiting time

Great :)

There are about 3 different vegan options on the manu, some vegetarian options and also meat/fish options. There was only one desert option (which was vegan).
I had pumpkin from the oven and it was great, enough and not too pricy (10,50 I think). But I've also seen vegan plate that wasn't so big, but bread is served while waiting.

Pros: Tasty, Good price, Nice environment

Cons: Tables quite close to eachother

recommendable place!

The vegan options on the menu are clearly labelled and they all sounded tasty. We had a soup and burger, which was very good. The waiter was friendly, even the place was very crowded. Unfortunately, we had a long waiting time for our main course (25 min). But over all, we can definitely recommend this place. The prizes are a little high but are worth the food!

Pros: tasty food, several vegan options, vegan options labelled, good service

Cons: waiting time, crowded

Good burgers, pricey, messy

We had their vegan burgers for a late lunch on a Sunday. The burgers were very nice, especially the patties were good and "home made". Service was alright as well and quite quick considering how crowded it was.

The prices seem to be a bit on the expensive side, and at least this time the place wasn't very clean. The most uncomfortable thing was that small fruit flies kept bothering us - their amount seemed to keep increasing so we decided to go elsewhere for coffee and tea. The flies could've been waken up by the very warm weather for October - we don't know.

Pros: Good vegan burgers, Friendly and quick service

Cons: Flies, Overall messiness

Varying, tasty vegan food

So far, I've been there three times for dinner and one time for coffee and cake. One main dish was excellent (pasta with asparagus in a creamy tomato sauce), one was pretty tasty (pearl barley risotto with grilled vegetables) and one was so-so (farfalle in avocado-walnut sauce with sesame-tofu, the sauce lacked flavor and the tofu itself was very good but lacked salt). I also tried two dishes from friends, which were very delicious (the bean burger and an avocado spelt risotto). The first time I've been there I also had a great dessert (apple crumble with almond rosemary ice cream). The apple pie is tasty, too, but so far it is the only vegan cake I've seen.
So, what I like: The food tastes good and even though there are limited options (most of the times three different main dishes on the lunch and dinner menu and one dessert and soup on the dinner menu), the menu changes every few weeks, so I can try something new every time. They also offer a vegan breakfast and if you ask, you can get creamy vegan cocktails normally made with dairy. Moreover, they use some "special" products like soy cream, but mostly cook "naturally vegan" dishes which is a nice variation from soy-cheese-burgers etc. The outdoor seating is very nice, too!
What I don't like: The prices are a bit high (around 10€ for a main dish) while the portions are ok but not generous. And they charge extra for soy milk in coffee and cocktails. If you are a bit picky or can't have soy it can also be hard to find something on the limited menu. Sometimes they don't offer a vegan dessert and the one vegan cake they make is normally sold out in the evening. When it's crowded (and it's crowded when it's dinner time) it can take some time, especially when you want to pay.
So I substract one cow for the limited vegan options and one for the portion-price-ratio.
