Amazing gelateria! - Edit
A really excellent selection of ice creams, with vegan options easily identifiable from the green labels. Also sells granita in various flavours.
Read moreI tried the chocolate, pistachio, chocolate orange, and Zen. I went three times in two days, it was fantastic.
On 22nd/23rd July 2022, vegan flavours spotted were:
- Strawberry
- Raspberry
- Lemon
- Mango
- Grapefruit and pomegranate
- Chocolate (Nero fondente)
- Chocolate orange (Nero arancia)
- Pistachio (vegano, there is a non-vegan one too)
- Cremino (hazelnut and coffee, a type of chocolate truffle; vegano, as above)
- Ginger and limoncello (Zenzero; with crystallised ginger pieces)
Others too which I’ve forgotten!

Many vegan options - Edit
There is a ton of vegan options and they are all clearly labeled (also allergens are labeled on each flavor). They not only have sorbets but also flavors like nougat, chocolate, pistachio etc. Among other flavors we have tasted ginger icecream with limoncello, which was very interesting and tasty.

The staff is really nice. Although, they do not speak English very well but it is no big deal.

Even though it was very busy the staff is surprisingly friendly and is willing to explain. There was a ticket machine to manage the queue and a machine for payment. Super efficient. The ice cream itself is really good. Probably the best ice-cream shop I've ever been.

They have so many different vegan flavors it‘s hard to choose. I tried the crema one and the dark chocolate and while tey were good I liked the ice creame at natura gelato around the corner better.

Has several vegan options, including vegan milk-based ice cream (e.g., pistachio, dark chocolate, etc.) and not only water-based sorbets (fruit flavours). Pistachio is excellent and was my favourite.

Ice-cream shop in the center of Trieste with many vegan options well displayed. I personally enjoyed their vegan Pistachio flavour.

The only downside is that is a very popular place so you might find people in line depending on the time you visit. I suggest going in the morning as it's usually less crowded.

Super viele vegane Sorten, allesamt gut als vegan markiert, ausgefallene Sorten, die es sonst meist nur in nicht vegan gibt, große Kugeln. Einfach super lecker. Cremino Vegano ist der Hammer! Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht :)

You really have to try their vegan non fruit ice creams. Pistachio, dark chocolate, chocolate&rum... They offer different clearly labeled vegan flavors which are amazing! One scoop costs 1.30 euro, but I was there sunday around 4:30 p.m. an got 50% discount (they are closed on mondays). friendly englisch speaking stuff

I was so happy to try gelato despite being vegan, and this place didn’t disappoint. They had probably ten options for vegans, including “cream-based” flavors. I loved the pistachio and hazelnut, but staff will let you try anything. We paid about five euros for four scoops.

Very good gelato with many vegan options like nutella, choclate with cherry, banana and four different vegan flavours of choclate. They cleane the spoon before every scoop, to ensure minimum traces from the non vegan gelatos. Its the best place to go for a gelato if you are in Trieste.
