Wir waren am Sonntag gegen 12 Uhr zum späten Frühstück da und hatten kein Problem einen Platz zu finden und mussten auch nicht lange warten. Das Ambiente ist mega schön und die Bedienung super freundlich!
Read moreDie Frühstücksteller waren geschmacklich sehr gut und alles andere als langweilig. Nur die Falafel war leider sehr trocken.
Weitere Kritikpunkte sind, dass der Teller unglaublich voll war. Das ist grundsätzlich gar nicht schlimm, eine Idee wäre es dann aber, z.B. noch einen kleinen extra Teller dazu zu stellen. Das würde das Essen deutlich angenehmer machen.
Des Weiteren war der Latte Macchiato leider nicht wirklich fancy. Wünschenswert wäre ein besserer Schaum und eine Untertasse wäre super praktisch.
Es konnte nur bar bezahlt werden.

Lovely vegan Breakfast. Especially their blueberry pancakes were super fluffy and delicious. Price is also acceptable for a vegan place in Berlin.

Read moreDas Essen wurde 45 Minuten nach Bestellung gebracht, als wäre so eine Wartezeit selbstverständlich.
Das „herzhafte Frühstück“ erwies sich eher als halber Obstsalat und ist weniger für den großen Hunger geeignet - ein kleines Stück Tempeh und ein hauchdünnes Scheibchen Tofu machen nicht gerade satt.
Die Beschreibungen in der Karte (Gerichte übrigens bis zu zwei Euro teurer als auf der Website) schürten andere Erwartungen.

Very nice atmosphere and good breakfasts. I had the hearty breakfast, which consisted of a bunch of fruits, a few veggies, different types of hummus and a few slices of really nice bread. It gave me fuel for almost the whole day. The place in itself is nice and cozy.

As one of my favourite places to go for brunch or a quick breakfast I've been here many times, the prices are quite good, the food is delicious with some great not so common dishes (as the savoury pancakes) and assembled with care as well as fresh ingredients. Moreover the interior is, even though the place isn't exactly huge, very lovely decorated and cosy, I oftentimes find myself coming here with friends originally for breakfast only just to stay for another cup of tea and a delicious piece of cake to relaxed talks till noon.

Eine Freundin und ich waren am Montag schon mal dort, weil es ganz nett aussah. Leider haben wir nicht auf die Öffnungszeiten geachtet (unsere eigene Schuld) und waren ca. viertel vor vier dort. Die Kellnerin hatte uns gesagt, dass sie nur noch Sachen zum mitnehmen verkaufen. Ich habe meine Freundin angeschaut und die Kellnerin meinte "Ihr könnt ja auch wieder gehen."
Angesichts der Tatsache, dass sie fast geschlossen hatten, verständlich, trotzdem seltsam einem Kunden sowas zu sagen. Ein "Ihr könnt gerne wann anders wieder kommen um hier zu essen." wäre definitiv angebrachter.
Aber nun zu unserem 2. Besuch dort:
Wir haben uns vorher online die Speisekarten angeschaut und wollten beide einen Oreo-Shake. Vielleicht haben wir etwas falsches gelesen oder es war eine veraltete Karte, aber wir mussten mehr Geld bezahlen als gedacht. Für 2 Shakes fast 10€ lohnt sich überhaupt nicht. Sie waren wirklich, wirklich lecker, aber nochmal würde ich sie nicht kaufen (und für die, die es interessiert: sie sind auch super süß). Das Essen wird einem zwar gebracht, aber man muss selbst zum Tresen gehen und bestellen, das ist in einem kleinen Café eher etwas schwieriger, weil es sowieso voll war.
Die Deko in dem Laden ist sehr schön und gemütlich, aber meine Freundin und ich saßen am Fenster auf kleinen Sesseln. Sie sind super bequem, aber total unpraktisch zum Essen. Mir hing auch die ganze Zeit eine Pflanze ins Gesicht, die neben dem Sessel stand.
Was auch nervig war, war dass dort eine total laute Gruppe war. Sie waren ziemlich anstrengend und das war wirklich störend. Aber auch als sie weg waren, war es nicht wirklich ruhig dort. Das entspannende Feeling hat einfach komplett gefehlt. Normalerweise bleibt man ja noch ein bisschen in dem Café sitzen und unterhält sich, aber die Freundin und ich wollten nur noch raus.
Bezahlt haben wir bei einer freundlichen Kellnerin.

Read moreWe had Toasties, Quinoa-kale burguer, Lentil soup and orange juice to share with two persons. We payed around 21€.
Everything was mega tasty, the burger was a delicious surprise.
I also loved the toasties. One melted cheese and tomato and another melted cheese and avocado.
I perfer the tomato one but booth were delicious. On the menu it says that it is 4 but is actually just 2 in 4 pieces, which is more than fine.
The soup was confort food. Very tasty.

That person was looking like is tired of being there.
After ordering toasts we've been receiving 2 toasts (in menu is information about 4). Very hot, no information "be careful" or anything (which is normal in other places).

Geh Veg (great pun) was always a nice option for those vegans living north of the Spree - with their original location in West Wedding and a newer spot near Wedding S Bahn. Their weird opening hours always made it very hard to eat there unless living in the area - I have heard their breakfast is delicious but never managed to make it. The few times I made it to the original location they had closed early or were not open at all which was always disappointing, but at their new one a friend and I managed to get lunch (although they were sold out of most things).
Read moreThe decor was beautifully done and the girl working there was lovely. The coffee and sweets were very nice, as were the sandwiches we got. I would go back if I was in the area but likely wouldn't go all the way there just for that.
