Delicious

Worth the drive, a sunny indoor terrace, and outdoor, plenty of space and an organic shop next door. Chose between a few daily dishes or some snacks and don’t skip the desert. Great place with lots of parking space as well.

Don’t interrupt the server please

Seems like this place is only for expats who live in the area.
When ordering or trying to pay it feels like you are interrupting. Quite rude foreign staff. Would rather support businesses with local staff.

An amazing place to enjoy some of the most nutritious and delicious vegan dishes in Portugal

This is an amazing place to enjoy some of the most nutritious and delicious vegan dishes in Portugal! Everything on the varied, original and constantly changing menu is cooked from scratch and it feels like a lot love goes into preparing the food. The ingredients are supremely fresh, the tastes on the plates are divine and the space is lovely to relax in both inside and outside in the garden area. The team were super friendly and the whole place had a really relaxed and welcoming vibe. There's even an on-site, well supplied vegan shop selling everything you can think off which is a real bonus. This definitely goes down as a must visit spot if you're in the Algarve.

Wholesome and nice

Lots of stuff. Nice grocery store next door. Work-space.
Food if we’ll prepared and healthy, mostly - if not all - gluten free.
Tho a bit of atmosphere was missing and the food a bit „too healthy“ for my personal self -> But that’s no reference

Pros: You’ll eat healthy and plenty

Absolutely brilliant property/venue for vegans & cruelty free existence

Drove over there from Lagos on beautiful new roads with killer scenery all round arrived to see easy parking everywhere around this lovely place.

Walked in a knew I was at home with a lovely mix & match table and chairs vibe in the two front rooms. At the rear of the property on the right is the bar servery with a huge marble top (from yesteryear) and nice styling. You order here and they bring your vegan 🌱 deliciousness to your chosen table.

On the left at the rear of the property is the comprehensive fruit & veg market with refill stations for cleaning products and packaging free shopping, amazeballs.

On the extreme left of the property is the outside terrace & garden with bench seating in the sun & with some sun protection cover. The loos are nice and well kept too.

This place is fantastic & im proud of the owners/creators and I don’t even know them.

The future is vegan 🌱

Straight to the point

Cool vegan restaurant/shop in Rogil, a small village in Alentejo. The staff was nice and the food was honest, tasty and really well made. There’s also a Cowork space if you feel like it.

Pros: Amazingly good desserts

Heaven for vegans

Very nice place to sit, lots of plants inside and an extra space with desks for working.
We were there for breakfast and had the buckwheat pancakes with different hummus and salad which was super delicious. Fresh juice and coffee were great as well 🥰☕️😋

Tasty breakfast

We drove by on our way to the south and had a really good breakfast with the scrambled tofu. It came with amazing buckwheat pancakes, super tasty dips and a salad. Nice ad-on is the zero waste shop, where they had acayu cashew cheese.

Great Vegan restaurant and shop in a little village

I had lunch there on my way to the Algarve and it was excellent, the dish of the day was a chickpea curry acompanied with rice and vegetables. Just the big bowl had me almost full.
Then had a matcha latte and it was one of the very best I ever had.
Definitely recomend checking out!

Good surprise

Nice full vegan, gluten free restaurant.
It has a terrace inside but we ate at the closed porch.

Prices are ok, 3 different cakes and some cookies.

Bunch option avaible.

We had a pasta as it was the daily option avaible and it was very good, specially the cashew cauliflower cream.

Pros: Full vegan, Nice deserts, Chill vibes

Nice place

Nice place with lovely staff. We tried the Brunch (with scrambled tofu and crepes) and the Pancakes - everything was delicious. They also have a great variety of cakes and good coffee. They couldn't make iced coffee because they didn't have any icecubes - but that was okay for us.

Pros: lovely staff, good coffee, healthy food

Cons: they had no icecubes

Disappointing experience, won’t go back ever again

It all started when we ordered the main dishes, which the waiter for some reason thought we only ordered one and brought a dish with pasta, one mushroom, half tomato and a cashew and cauliflower sauce. This dish took a while to be served and when we asked if it would take too long to bring a second one, he went to the kitchen to check and came back and said “it would take a little bit of time for the pasta to cook. “ Lol, like they couldn’t cook pasta in 5-7 minutes 🤦🏻 he literally left the pasta dish between us and expected us to eat from the same plate for some reason…? So we asked for another plate and he brought us a dessert plate, from where I ate a bit of pasta from. We asked for dessert, a lemon and poppy seeds cake which was awful, too acidic. I had to use some of the sugar from the coffee to put on top of it and balance flavours. When we thought nothing else could go wrong, they wouldn’t accept card so my gf had to walk for a while under the sun to look for an ATM. When I went to pay the hippie girl had the gut to ask “don’t you have a 5€ note?”. Horrible experience, the waiter looked like he was high or something and after the pasta incident they all looked at us like if we did something wrong to them. Won’t ever go back to this place, the staff was rude and not humble at all, the food was bland and we paid a lot for the amount and quality of the food we ate. Would give 1 star but the app doesn’t let me do it 🥲

Cons: Expensive, Rude staff, Bland food

Sweet spacious place, delicious food

This restaurant is pet- friendly, has a dish/ menu of the day and awesome cakes. It says vegetarian/ vegan upfront, but everything is vegan. There is also a little shop where you can get cosmetics, handmade baskets and stuff and buy grains in bulk.

Pros: Nice staff, pet-friendly, awesome food

Sweet place to go for vegan breakfast! 🌱

The restaurant is very sweet. We came there for breakfast. We tasted the scrambeld tofu and the pancakes. Both were very deliscious! Also you can order fresh juice and coffee with oatmilk.

The staff (Ive from Germany) was very cool and friendly 😁

Pros: Vegan breakfast, Cool place, Outside area

Cons: Nothing!

Gaia Loja Restaurante

Lovely cafe/restaurant between Aljezur and Odeceixe. Was the perfect lunch stop after a long surf session. Wasn’t expecting it to be open as this page states from Apr-Oct only but we drove past and it was! The sign outside says 9-18. It’s also going under the name of Gaia Loja now. It wasn’t clear if everything is vegan - the sign outside also says vegetarian and the person who served us didn’t clarify, however most things on the menu seem to be.

We ordered the lunch deal which was soup, dish of the day and desert for 11€ which is so reasonable. The soup was really flavoursome and the perfect consistency. Then we had the tofu shawarma which was served on a buckwheat crepe. The flavours were amazing, everything tasted fresh and was well spiced. We had desert to take away and shared the chocolate and coconut sweet potato cakes. Well balanced and not too sweet. Overall a super tasty, filling & well priced meal with a chilled atmosphere and very friendly staff! It’s cash only so make sure you’re prepared.

Pros: Very tasty, Well priced

Cons: Cash only
