Great food, friendly staff! - Edit
The staff were super nice and friendly, the prices were reasonable and the food was great. I had a tempeh sandwich with vegan tuna fish on the side. Tasted fantastic.

The largest Vegan Selection I’ve ever Seen - Edit
This was our first time here and WOW what a selection! We had difficulty deciding. I had the Veggie Burger with Wedged garlic and rosemary potatoes. My wife had the Zoodles. Does were fantastic! The non-vegan couple with use had flat bread pizza and the veggie panini. They loved their meals. This would be a weekly (multiple times) stop if we were local but we are from New England. Please support this place.

My wife and I eat here at least a couple of times a month. Clean, comfortable and friendly staff. My favorites are the Potato Wedges, Zoodle Pasta Primavera Bowl, and TLT. My wife loves the Roasted Veggie Panini and her new favorite, the Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

I stop here every time I’m in the area, which isn’t that often, but it is a highlight of my trip! They recently expanded, so there’s plenty of space, the vibe is casual and comfortable, and everything on their menu is amazing! The menu is extensive and the food is real (and really delicious), not fake or processed. My favorites are the Buffalo Cauliflower Caesar and the All Day Tempeh! They also have great specials and soups! And the prices are awesome! I feel like you can’t eat at a lot of vegan places, even casual ones, without paying $15 a plate, but they have plenty of dishes under $10. I wish they would open another location further south!

I think that a vegan restaurant really has to step up and make it over-the-top good. It should be indulgent and make you want to go back soon. Fruits and Roots does not provide this. Yes, the flavors are really good but the sandwiches are definitely not overstuffed and for the prices they charge...they should be!!! This restaurant is OK if you are in the Stuart area since there aren't too many choices but I don't think it's worth a special trip. We ate there yesterday after the Air Show. We would go back again but only if we were in the area anyway.

Awesome atmosphere and yummy food. I’ve tried the veggie panini which I love. Also the cauliflower garlic flatbread which has the same pesto on it as the veggie panini.

I wasn't sure what to expect. From the name I thought maybe it was a super healthy vegan restaurant with sprouts on everything (you vegans know what I'm talking about). This place has that but also things like flatbreads and a black bean burger that rocked my world! Guys! You have to try this place!

Enjoyed the Asian noodle salad made with soba noodles, zoodles, shredded cabbage, edamame, carrots, scallions, peanuts, sesame seeds tossed with sweet miso dressing. It was fabulous. I wouldn’t change a thing.
Read moreThen we sampled the “Tuna Chick” which is a tuna-like wrap made from chickpeas, walnuts, tomatoes, cucumber, lettuce, microgreens, and a delicious seed/spice blend which I believed was tahini all in a whole wheat wrap. Loved the crunchiness of the wrap along with the fresh veggies and sweet dressing.
We appreciated the attentiveness of the staff. Nice conversation and friendliness. Beautiful and clean environment. We would visit again.

Ordered the summer rolls, an asparagus and sun-dried tomato flatbread and smoothie. Everything was quite delicious, the summer rolls being my favorite. The smoothie was somewhat bland but not enough so to not give them 5 stars. I had ordered another flatbread to try and I did not like the taste at all, it had wild mushrooms on it which i've never had before and was not a fan. They happily took it away and replaced it with my smoothie, both the same price. Well worth it if you feel like going out and not hassling with french fries and a salad at a non-vegan restaurant. I will definitely be back.

I went with a party of 5 non-vegans. Everyone loved their food. The menu is fresh and creative and full of flavor. We had the garlic breadsticks, veggie burger, flat bread, chick pea sandwich, noodle bowl, spring rolls and they even did a bagel with earth balance for my picky little vegan. Dessert was also fab - cheesecake and brownies. Yum! Great little restaurant doing vegan right. Go here and support this wonderful place.

We found this spot on our way down south, and we stopped there for lunch. I loved that they had the option to sub collard greens for the tortilla for their wraps. the food was delicious, and the bean-based brownie and blondie for desert were really good, as well.

The veggie burger is really great. I added "cheese" which was a smoked Gouda. The sauce is delicious. I had their sundae special as my dessert, and it was super yummy! Made with banana nice cream & blackbean brownie. Everything was fresh, healthy, and delicious. Will be back! Dog friendly tables in the front.

I was pretty excited to find that there was a vegan restaurant in Stuart, where my snowbird parents have spent their winters over the past few years. (It's billed as a café, but I wouldn't feel comfortable bringing my laptop and working here all day—this is a casual restaurant.)

It was definitely too much food for the two of us (and I can eat)—we took most of the noodle salad home to eat for dinner. Everything was SO GOOD—really fresh, flavourful, and beautifully put together. If I lived here, this would be my go-to spot for sure.

I drove 30 miles to try Roots and Fruits and...wow...it was worth the drive! They have an expansive menu of apps, salads, sandwiches, flatbreads, smoothies, bowls.... and all Vegan! We tried the summer roll, spinach sunflower salad, asparagus and sun dried tomato flatbread, and soup. They were all great. The place was PACKED and I hear they are busy all the time. Your non-vegan friends will love the food, too. A must visit...

Best Vegan Food Around! - Edit
Everything on the menu is vegan and it's all fantastic. I drive 30 minutes here for lunch every Saturday. They have great flatbreads and sandwiches as well as smoothies, smoothie bowls and juices. My recommendation is the All Day Tempeh sandwich. Prices are very reasonable.
