Ordered the sblat sandwich and Mac n cheese. My first bite of the sblat made me want to savor every bit. So delicious. So good. They have a pretty complete food menu. Not just “cheese”. I highly recommend Vtopia.

So good, I had awesome kombucha on tap (uplift flavor) and their house Mac and cheese, it was really good! We got the “bowl” size thinking it would be a decent amount and it was huge, I hate it for leftover the next two days! Service was really great and friendly

Amazing little spot! Great source for vegan cheeses and incredible sugar-free desserts! It also harks back to the sort of low-fi style, counter-culture coffee-house hangouts I remember from college days, so that's a plus in my book 😊

My girlfriend and I went here for date night. Staff is very friendly and the space feels cozy. The food was spectacular! Highly recommend the mac and cheese. They also gave us samples of their brie, which tasted very close to the original from what I remember. Very pleasant experience!

My first time ever in Portland and this was the first vegan business I came to support! I literally only am visiting here to try all the awesome vegan food in this city 😁 I had the mac n cheeze with shiitake bacun’, avocado and buffalo fried tofu. An absolute must, the cheeze here is unreal. Theres no way for me to describe it, its seasoned and cooked perfectly. I also had the ceasar salad (so delicious honestly!) and the reuben which I don’t usually eat but wanted to try their sandwich in the name of melty cheeze! Was not disappointed. The ceasar salad has crisp croutons and flavor that literally pops in your mouth in a huge surprise. Its all just so good 😩. Thanks for taking care of me Vtopia 😊

Visiting from New Mexico where we can’t have nice things like this. Didn’t have deli food but ordered a few vegan cheeses to try and to take back home. Staff was friendly, and gave me me a sample of the Gouda, which was amazing. They informed me that they don’t ship their cheese but it will last ~4 hours at room temperature and ~2 weeks refrigerated. I kept my cheese next to a cold water bottle on the way home and it 100% survived the 8 hour trip home.

Okay so, i’m from San Francisco, but i come up yearly to portland for one week every year just to eat the vegan selections here. and i must admit, Vtopia is the reason for it all. It all started with one youtube video where i saw someone eating their mac n cheese. I had to have it and so the obsession began. i now have eaten here probably 12 times over the course of 4 years and 4 trips. Everything here is amazing. The caesar salad, the mac, the cheese platter, the baguettes, their sandwiches, i seriously mean EVERYTHING. i mean seriously the BEST vegan cheese ever. try it, bring non vegans here, bring the “i could never stop eating cheese” people here, bring anyone who will go with you and you will be amazed

We only picked up some cheese from this place to take to wine country for the day. Loved every cheese that we tried - pesto cheddar, sriracha cheddar, port wine and jalapeño. Their regular menu seemed legit too, totally would have loved to tried their Mac and cheese had we not already eaten.

spent a while trying options all over town and this is definitely my favorite spot. love to get it with broccoli and "bacon" - a big bowl of comfort food! they've got good salads and interesting cheese plates and sandwiches as well, but if you've never been you definitely have to start with the mac!!

Went to Herbivore Clothing Co. and they recommended this place. Their mac & cheese and Caprese sandwich are the best I’ve had! Ordered a sandwich and CUP of mac, expecting it to be a small cup. It was not! A sandwich & cup of mac is enough for two meals!

The special that day was a Philly cheesesteak, which was so good. The Buffalo Berry was surprisingly amazing! The tofu actually tasted like chicken, no joke! My omnivorous dad thought it did, too.

We ordered the followings.
Tomato and coconut soup: I expected a clear soup, but it was a ground-up soup. Had some grainy texture and I like the level of spiciness.
Buffalo Berry Sandwich: I expected it to be spicier, but it was not spicy at all. It was rather sweet. It went well with my soup.
Side salad with ranch dressing: fresh green was good with the dressing. I miss creamy dressing after I went vegan, so this ranch was a gem. Try it! It has lots of dill flavor and is yummy!
Mac bowl: what? What? Really good. Better than cow cheese mac. So much better!!
Pros: Fresh and tasty food, Great service, Curing effect of missing cheese
Cons: Background rock music (not my taste), A long wait during dinner hour

Hi all! I went to Vtopia cheese shop and Deli the other day for lunch and it was so good I had to tell you about it. I ordered the Mac & Cheese, the server insisted on it because it was my 1st time there. I also ordered the Reuben.

Staff was super friendly, selection of cheeses (that you can sample) are amazing. Sampled the smokey Whisky and ended up buying a few oz's for the rd. This place is amazing and I'll be going back for sure to try out their other items on the menu!

Great food and cheeses in this little shop. I have gotten the selection and brought it to meeting with the fruit and pickles and it was a true crowd pleaser. The siracha cheddar is my favorite.

Been there twice. First time was good food. Best Mac and cheese around. But it took nearly 35 min to get our food with just a few couples in the restaurant. Second time it took 15 min to order and another 45 min for food. Entree was served before appetizers. Food not worth the wait.
