Get the grilled cheese - Edit
The Mac and cheese was good, but not amazing. And the flavor got boring after eating a little.
Read moreHowever, the grilled cheese seemed better to me. I could eat that again and again.
Pros: Grilled cheese, Outdoor seating
Cons: Confused on where to order, Limited menu options

Best vegan Mac and Cheese - Edit
The menu is small, but therefore the food is fresh! We had Mac and Cheese (the best I have had so far) and a sandwich with tofu - everything really well seasoned and abundant in quantity!

Mac for dayzzzzz - Edit
We ordered the pesto and meunster mac and cheeses and the SBALT sandwich. The portions of mac are crazy! We ordered 2 "cup" sizes and couldn't finish. Both were super tasty and were just as good cold the next day for lunch. The sandwich was delicious, lots of avocado and the mushroom bacon was great. Even though portions are big, it is still quite expensive for what it is (we paid $42, not including tip, for 2 cups of mac and a sandwich).
Read moreNote: they are not currently (March 2022) offering any indoor seating, they are only doing delivery or collection. These are some picnic tables outside but be aware that they will not let you inside.
Pros: Tasty food, Massive portions
Cons: No indoor seating, Quite expensive

BEST MAC EVER!!! - Edit
Holy Moly where do I even begin. I got the caprese mac, whiskey business mac, and caprese sandwich with soy curls. Both macs were insanely delicious but the caprese won my heart. It was creamy and decedent yet fresh because of the tomato and balsamic. The Whiskey business was also very tasty and even though I usually don't like mushrooms the mushroom bacon/jerky that they add on top was delicious and flavorful. The caprese sandwich was good but I am glad I added the soy curls or it wouldn't have been very filling. I highly recommend though, It was all delicious.

My favorite - Edit
I thought this place would be just alright, but it was my favorite spot to eat in all of Portland. Everything was so savory and the cheeses are spot on. I never knew I could love a sandwich so much.

pretty good vegan cheese!! - Edit
I very much enjoyed the brie on crackers (went back a second time for way more brie) and tried the pesto cheddar, port wine cheddar, and the muenster which were all very tasty. Had a great time spreading this cheese on crackers as a snack, would like to make a charcuterie board sometime with this cheese. Didn't care much for the bocconcini, tasted a bit bland but that could just be me. Got the mac n cheese cup and was not disappointed at all with the portion size!! and it was delicious!! Up there for some of the best vegan mac n cheese I've had. Overall great experience and would love to try the other options next time I'm in town. I also wanna try some of the sandwiches n such because it all sounds so good!

Vegan Boccincini!! - Edit
Lots of mac, sandos, salads and vegan cheese by weight, BUT the boccincini (mozzarella balls in Himalayan salt water brine) is awesome! Totally takes me back to my childhood in New York where boccincini is a typically found item in Italian delis and groceries. Pair that with some salami from Food Fight vegan grocery store, and a wedge of crusty Italian bread from Portland's own Grand Central Bakery, and you've got yourself a blue-collar Italian lunch.

Finally!! - Edit
I finally was able to come here on this trip to Portland! I got the grilled cheese shiitake bacon with tomato soup. Oh my gosh. That cheese is DIVINE, and the soup might have been the best tomato soup I ever had. I wish I lived here so I could eat this cheese all the time. Seriously. So good.

Amazing vegan cheeses!! - Edit
I love love love vegan cheese and I was so excited to come here to try their cheeses! We got a bunch of cheeses to try (we ordered 2oz of everything and that was a good size) as well as a baguette and their iced chai. Oh my goodness everything was incredible and it was so fun to create our own cheese board. I only wish I lived closer so I could come more often!

Was so excited to try this place after discovering it on this app. I’m always on the lookout for the best vegan mac and cheese so this was an obvious stop!
Read moreIt is a bit on the pricier side but the portions are quite generous. For the most part, it was really good! Nice and creamy and I loved the sautéed onions and sliced green onions on top. I would have added a bit more cheese flavor or salt but it was still a good experience!
Pros: Large portions
Cons: Expensive, Could use more flavor

Cesar salad is also great, but you must get the mac. It's on the expensive side but the portions are huge. As in one large order can easily feed three people

Superb Vegan Artisan Cheese - Edit
Such a cute place with incredible artisan vegan cheese. As of DEC 2020, all orders are to be placed online on their website. I believe they deliver through Postmates too (wish they were on DoorDash!). We got a vegan cheese plate for Take Away and had a wine and cheese tasting picnic at the rose garden. Basically you choose whatever you want from their large selection or vegan cheeses. We tried Muenster, Port Cheddar, Derby Sage , Scarborough Fair, Pesto. Honestly they were all so delicious, I couldn't choose a favourite! They were all incredible. They were really high quality, exquisite cheeses for a very fair price.
Read moreI was a bit sad to hear they no longer do the cheese plate with fruit and dolmas, and they no longer carry the "schmeats" (vegan meats). Maybe it is because of COVID, but I hope they bring back these offerings!
Atleast we were able to buy a very tasty and high quality baguette, which the employee kindly cut for us for our wine and cheese picnic!
Pros: Good price , Delicious , Adorable
Cons: I wish they had the Schmeats again!

If you've had vtopia cheeses, you know what you're in for. These are not "substitutions" but cheeses that fully hold their own. All I can add is that they are even better fresh at the shop than they are in the store, and that the "PB&J" while it sounds a bit gross, is actually amazing. I wish they sold the rose jam by the jar!
Read moreIt's also notably better to get these cheeses completely fresh compared to buying them in the store.

Great Cheese selection! - Edit
I took my parents on a nice Sunday afternoon. My father had the Reuben sandwich, I had the Caesar Salad and mom had the broccoli cheese soup. My father and I loved our meals, I tried both of my parents food. My mom soup was not very good the cheese soup was too salty and lacking any broccoli flavor, she didn’t finished. I bought pieces to go of the mozzarella, pesto and Porto cheese to try with my meals and it was so GOOD! I’ll be back to buy cheese.
Read moreThe place is small and it was busy for a Sunday at 4pm. One of the staff asked me to get out the way, in no a very polite way, because he was serving a big table that is in the middle of e place (We had to pull a chair to make a table of two fit the three of us) This guy was kind of stressed or unhappy. This was toward the end of our meal and I left with a not so pleasant memory, is a small thing compared to the goodness of the food they make but I don’t t think I’ll go back for a seat down meal.
Pros: Best Vegan cheese ever!, Good variety of option
Cons: Small for such busy place

My brother took me to Vtopia when I was visiting and I loved the cheese platter. I make cheese myself so I don’t usually get it but this was worth it. Creamy and creative. Go try 💘
