Recht viel Auswahl auf der Speisekarte von Pizza über Burger bis hin zu Bowls. Auch der zur Zeit so hoch gelobte Beyond-Burger wird natürlich angeboten.
Rundum zufrieden und glücklich habe ich das Restaurant verlassen und werde es noch oft besuchen.

The ambiance and interior here are pretty damn nice and the staff was competent and friendly. Only the music was quite a bit annoying, but hopefully it‘s not always the same. Our food came fast and tasted a bit bland though still quite tasty. It could have been much better although maybe we just didn‘t find the right thing on the menu yet. The pizza was quite floury at the bottom.

AFAIK Froindlichst is the only place that has weekly vegan brunch, so if you're only in Hamburg for a week or a weekend this might be your only chance for a vegan brunch buffet. The buffet is pretty good.

Second Location - Edit
This location is much more central than the first one, and it may even be better. I really loved the interior design. The staff here are super friendly as in the other location, and the food is so good and filling.
Read moreI had the Mexavo pizza which was gigantic and probably made for two! The hot chocolate was really well-made as well.
Attention: On Sundays, they have a big brunch here, and you will need to make a reservation as the place is packed!
Edit: I went back a second time last month and feel like the prices have really gone up and are not justified anymore. I had a peanut butter chocolate shake which was really delicious and refreshing, but the mozzarella pizza was quite boring to be honest, and the iced tea I had was pretty bad.
It's disappointing to see that owners raise prices and lower the quality just as there are tons of other amazing vegan restaurants opening in Hamburg.

I live close to this place so I have been there multiple times. The service has always been bad. Everytime we had to call the waiter to us to place our order, one time the drinks arrived after we had almost finished our meals. The staff always seems swamped, even when there are only a few people in the restaurant. Unfortunately, they don't make up for this or their inattentiveness through being extra friendly. They don't really seem to care wether you are there or not. I wouldn't mind that too much if the food was great. Unfortunately it is only average at best. The best thing on the menu is in my opinion the BBQ Burger, but only if you order the beyond meat pattie. Their own patties are not so great and i can honestly make better ones at home. The bowls are okay, but nothing special. I don't care for the pizza. They recently added ice cream, that can only be ordered in tubs of 350ml. We ordered the salted caramel and could taste neither salt, nor caramel.

We came here for Sunday brunch (which we reserved) after reading positive reviews on the internet. However, it was a huge disappointment. Not only were we ignored by the unfriendly staff multiple times, the food was really bad. We tried a lot of things from the buffet but to be honest everything tasted like cheap Kartoffelsalad. It’s not just that everything tasted like blend German food, quality of the products used was also very low. We would not recommend this place.

I ate a Mr Bean burrito with a side salad in the afternoon. The burrito tasted awesome and the salad was really good (not boring at all). I came back in the evening for some dessert! Highly recommended.

I love Froindlichst, I used to go always to the one in Winterhude and now I visited the one in Ottensen as well. Food is always amazing and the crew is super friendly😄both pizza and burgers are amazing, I was very impressed by the beyond meat burger. I’ve tried the brunch as well, it’s quite expensive but really tasty!

The Froindlichst at the Daimlerstraße is located in a very nice neighborhood not to far away from the Altona train station.
Read moreThe menu offers Burgers, fries, salads, burritos and soups as well as different kind of cakes. We ordered burritos and the pumpkin soup which tasted awesome. Unfortunately we all were pretty unsatisfied with the service. The staff always seemed in a rush, even though the place wasn't even close to being full, and sometimes straight up rude. When we ask if they could wrap up the leftovers, they simply slapped a cardboard box on our table (we had to fill it our self). The box is btw meant for cakes not for soup...
Further the place had a small problem with fruit fly, it didn't bother us but is probably worth mentioning.
To conclude, the place offers some pretty tasty food but should rethink how they handle their costumers.

Echt leckere vegan cheese loaded fries mit fett Guacamole, Jalapeños, Fruehlingszwiebel und Tomate!! Die Musik ist pop und dir Bedienung ist fix und flexibel!! Definitiv empfehlenswert, nur die Preise sind eher gehoben, aber dafuer eben auch besonders lecker! Die raw vegan schokotorte ist Der absolute Hammer! Die pflanzenbasierten nuggets waren heiss und knusprig!! Bis zum naechsten mal!

Eine gute Auswahl an Pizzen, Burger und Bowls. Die Kuchen sahen alle lecker aus. Ich habe den Zupfkuchen probiert und der war sehr lecker. Eine der Bedienungen war schlecht gelaunt und nicht sehr hölflich. Ich ziehe aber keinen Stern dafür ab, weil die restlichen Angestellten sehr nett waren. Werde wiederkommen und weitere Sachen ausprobieren.

I absolutely love the pizza here. They have an amazing vegan mozzarella and the different bases of the pizzas are great (especially the sauce hollandaise) the pizza is very much american style so of you prefer super thin pizza this isn't for you. But the Bowls are also great. The only Con is that it's a little pricy.
