One of the best places I've eaten in php

So hard to find good vegan in Philippines but this place has to be one of the best I ate at. Had some actual Filipino food, not just western, delicious smoothies with soy milk and very friendly staff.

I wish I had stayed here!

Really Nice Vegan Options

We both ordered the vegan sisig, and while it took a while to arrive, it was absolutely delicious. Cash only.

Amazing vegan selection

I loved the vegan selection at Fox and Firefly. Such friendly and warm staff! A restaurant part of some cottages that anyone can dine at. Average of $300-350 for the food. I loved the smoothie bowls and coconut chia and veganised Filipino options.

Yummy vegan options and beautiful location

We stopped there on our way back from Chocolate mountains and really enjoyed the food. The place is beautiful, in front of the river, and staff were lovely and attentive. The food was so yummy, tasty and fresh. Not cheap but totally worth it if you are around that area.

Beautiful location

The venue is lovely, staff were great with my issues with food but I was unable to really enjoy.

I ordered the vegan forest dish and when it was brought out was told to mix the mango with the ‘fish’ sauce part of dish as it was salty.
My parter ate some with his curry and I added hot sauce and even more mango that I crushed to sauce to try combat the saltiness. Would not order again.

Falafels were great, along with the dip.

My partner enjoyed his dish and the mango hot sauce they gave him to make his curry less dry was yum!

Pros: Many options , Friendly helpful staff , Nice venue

Cons: No vegan dessert choices

Wowzers!

BinaThis place was great! The chef was fantastic. There was a veg gal next to us who got the vegan sisig and she totally didn't believe that it was vegan. Although I don't love or miss the texture of meat, I imagine everything on the menu is delicious, even if it did have a meaty texture. We got the forest binagoongan and the maranding vegan and both seriously rocked my world. I don't know how they made food that tastes so great!

Pros: Flavors, Creativity, Atmosphere

Cons: Not fully veg

Will be dreaming of this place!

I was blown away by the food here. Each dish I tried was fantastic (multiple smoothies, the signature salad and pepper’s sisig). The textures/flavors were phenomenal and dishes presented so nicely.

My partner enjoyed his meat entree, and in total our meal was ~$27 USD. No complaints!

Also, the hotel ground are gorgeous, made us wish we were staying there! Be sure to check out the outdoor toilets 🌿

River Trip and Chill Dinner

Fox and Firedly is a bed and breakfast that leads guided paddling trips and has a fancy restaurant featuring (vegan-ified) local foods.

The venue is super relaxing with couches and excellent customer service. While all the food is high quality, the vegan options were a bit hit or miss for me, with the Forest Bjngaloo dish being extremely salty and bitter for me to finish and the other being so unique and tasty I didn’t want it to end!

The service was excellent and the took care to explain which options were gluten free. We really enjoyed the food as well. The restaurant is part of a hotel which is very pretty!

Amazing hidden spot!

This place is great for vegans with 10 options. The menu is clearly marked for vegan options. The setting is beautiful in terms of the river and surrounding gardens, and the decor of the restaurant itself. Staff super attentive and nice😄

Acogedor

Restaurante con opciones veganas y vegetarianas, pero no muchas. La comida estaba rica, aunque era un poco cara. No tienen postres veganos. El personal es muy amable. El lugar es precioso. Se respira un ambiente muy tranquilo.

The other side of Loboc

Very nice B&B place beside Loboc river. Quiet, with amazing vibe and friendly staff. There are a lot of activities offered by the resort for the guests, which is off the regular tourists spots, so if you enjoy nature, privacy and good fresh food, this is a great place for you

Pros: Plenty of vegetarian and vegan meals in the menu, They have own farm, so a lot of fresh veggies

Cons: Mid range

Vegan food in the jungle

We ate here twice. The grounds are lovely, especially at night when the lights are on. Vegan options are marked on the menu. The smoothie bowls looked great, but we were there for lunch and dinner so I didn't try them. I ate a rice bowl with mung beans that was excellent. I also tried a dish with veggies (mostly okra and water spinach) and tofu and rice. The flavor was a bit lacking, but in Loboc, this place was basically vegan heaven. It's a little more expensive than other restaurants in the area. But one night we had three entrees, an appetizer, a dessert, and six alcoholic drinks. The total was under $40. And the drinks are phenomenal. Get something with calamansi. Beware that they do take credit cards, but they charge you a 5% fee, so I would recommend cash.

Pros: Delicious alcoholic drinks, Clearly marked vegan items

Lots of veggies

When driving a rented scooter from panglau to the chocolate hills we saw a sign "vegetarian food" ofcourse we had to investigate.

We were happy to see a whole vegan section on the menu that was about as big as the meat section.
As I have been travelling trough southeast asia for quite some time now, I can appreciate this restaurant we visited in october 2018 even more. They have a variety of dishes with many veggies (wich is not even the case in some all vegan restaurants, allthough in the Philippines you generally get lots of good veggies when ordering a vegetable dish)

Apart from the food, the atmosphere of the place is amazing. I would reccomend you to take a stroll through the garden and go to the outdoors toilet. (Say hi to the dwarf for me will you?)

Enjoy!

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Lots of veggies, Atmosphere

Ate here every meal!

For a vegetarian/ vegan staying in Loboc this is by far the best option. Not only do they have plenty of vegetarian and vegan options clearly marked, the food always comes out delicious. Alongside the great food you get to enjoy a beautiful setting whilst you eat. My only complaint would be that there was some confusion with billing as it's separate from the restaurant, so would advise checking the prices before you pay. Saying that, it was not enough to deter us! In our multiple meals there I particularly enjoyed the hearty green curry, which came out with a decent kick of spice, and the arrabiata pasta. It's not the cheapest place but the food is worth it, most meals average around 200 pesos.

Delicious vegan options in beautiful setting

So hard to find real vegan options in Bohol. This place worth the drive. Dine and watch the river go by. I got a green veg dish, had loads of veg with brown rice, spicy at my request. Again, hard to find restaurants that give enough veg.

Pros: At least six vegan meal options.

Many options

Menu is diverse with vegan/veg options clearly marked. Juices/smoothies delicious, meals decent size, relative to the price. Great atmosphere, expect to wait for your food/drinks - I think everything is prepared quite fresh. Yes, a lot of meat served but in Loboc, Bohol a vegan is hard-pressed to find better

Pros: Lots of vegan options, Quiet, Great atmosphere
