i had tried many things / sadly just one good thing in the menu - Edit
food is terrible ! just one good thing cauliflower tacos they are very good, risotto is OK , donuts really suck so dense and bad taste, the reeces the inside is watery, ice cream is not creamy , mash potatoes really bad taste , the nuggets sometimes taste old , guava cheese cake first doesn't taste like guava and was old and too citric . i am really disappointed because food is expensive and they dont really care if you like it or not . i hope this restaurant listen and improve the food.

nothing extraordinary - Edit
El lugar es lindo y el personal amable; sin embargo la comida no es la mejor, en algunos casos fue insípida, mientras que en otros las combinaciones no funcionaban y el postre, aunque la presentación era muy bella, estaba muy empalagoso y no muy rico :

I walked for an hour outside of Centro Historico just to find this place and it was so worth it. I had English breakfast tea with almond milk (my morning staple) and pancakes with chocolate and strawberries. The neighbourhood was peaceful and I sat outside in the shade of the leafy avenue.

Friendly and helpful staff. Chef spoke English and not only helped us order but gave recommendations for other vegan places in the area! Tostaditos, Khaleesi salad and Nachos are all highly recommended. Gluten Free substitutions were easy as well. Can't wait to go back!

Mexican Vegan food! - Edit
Awesome place especially for breakfast! I went 4 times during my trip in Mexico City. The eggs are to die for! Try the Enchuladas or huevos rancheros and add chorizo if you like them a bit spiced up. You won't believe they are not real.

Not great - Edit
The ambience is great. they have a upstaris asian style sit on the floor type lounge....
Read morebut the food is not great..and overpriced....the cheesecake was edible at best....and insanely overpriced $80....the burgers i've tried have not been great...the protebello mushroom 'burger' is kind of a joke...just some cheap bread with mushrooms thrown on, lettuce and tomatoes..and some vegan cheese...not much thought went into it...bread was soggy from the moisture from the mushrooms....
the forever hamburguesa (made from a bunch of grains and beans) was ok..nothing i would order again....bread was good.....
food is not worth it....but great for working remotely..

One of the worst vegan restaurants I've ever been to - Edit
The staff was friendly, but the food was pretty awful. The nachos hardly come with anything on them and they're super stale. The French fries were half hard and half soggy with the paprika was caked on. Their main burger patty has something pretty hard/unappetizing in it. They had a peanut butter torte and it was also awful. It didn't taste like it had any sugar in it. Then they had topped it with a really old looking strawberry. My boyfriend's dish said it came with beans and it literally had about four beans on top. All over its overpriced for the awful food you get. Don't waste your time or money. My boyfriend and I left both pretty hungry because the food was so unbearable.

Great menu, great burger - Edit
One of the best burgers ever! I was welcomed and given an English menu. I ordered a glass of rosada wine ($55) and the quinoa burger special edition ($145), which means besides the guacamole, chipotle mayo, caramelized onions and spinach on the quinoa-corn patty, there were also tempeh bacon and melted vegan cheddar spread on the bun. I really enjoyed this burger! It came with a dark-green salad with cherry tomatoes, raisins, sunflower seeds and pecans. Other mains on the menu include: Forever burger (beans, almonds, carrots, etc), raw pizza, stuffed tempura poblano pepper, wrap, raw pasta pesto, creamy pasta, dragon bowl and quinoa bowl. Appetizers (called Entrées) include tempura cauliflower tacos, pulled-jackfruit tacos, hummus, raw ceviche (marinated young coconut meat), nachos, nuggets (for kids), sweet potato fries. There are salads, three soups, artisanal beers, wine, agua-del-dia, lemonade, kombucha, coffees and more. I wish I had more time in Mexico City, so I could eat at Forever many more times.

Decent vegan food - Edit
I went there twice because I loved the ambiance of the place. I tried their coconut ceviche (7/10 needed more lemon, herbs and salt) and raw pesto pasta (5/10 had no pesto, just chopped basil, and barely had any nut cheese on it, not salt enough). For dessert I had the raw chocolate ganache cake and it was perfect. I tasted the cheesecake the second time and it was pretty good but too sour (I think they used unripe blueberries). Overall good service, good prices but value isn't so good - the food doesn't seem to be made with love.. Or perhaps we visited on a day where the chef wasn't feeling too good - it happens! Great menu though, I'd go back for sure :)

The restaurant is set in an amazing "gaudiesque" Building in the Roma district. Beautifully decorated Forever features a second floor chill lounge where you sit down to eat in low tables on cushion seating, you are immediately transported to some ancient eastern fairytale land. Food is delicious and satisfying and the staff was very friendly.

Great concept, room for improvement - Edit
I liked this place, but it was a bit too good to be true. The burger I had was decent, but a bit formless and mushy. The tofu scramble was tasty and I'd have it again, but it was missing a little oomph... basically just silky white tofu that wasn't nicely browned or creatively prepared. I guess my experience is similar to others who found it decent but still lacking something.
Read moreI still think it's a great place and will go back to try more, but I think a bit of creative direction in the kitchen could lead to some more impressive plates and a killer brand. They've really just opened so it may take some time to get things right.

Cons: underwhelming food, slow service

Very expensive, strange service - Edit
I was stoked to go have some vegan American comfort food after six months traveling in the Mexican countryside.
Read moreWe were first shocked by the extremely high prices (relatively). After paying $15 for incredible vegan tacos at Por Siempre, seeing two tacos for $55 and veggie burgers for $125 was a bit of a shock. We decided to splurge though and both got an expensive sandwich (veggie burger and rueben). Ruebens were one of my favorite sandwiches when I ate meat, so I'm always stoked to get a veggie one.
Well! First of all, we waited quite a long time for our food. No biggie, it's Mexico and we've learned to drop our entitled American service attitudes. But then we realized that they'd taken our plates over to these two girls who were photographing the food so they could take pics while we waited! I'm not one for wasting food, so I ate it anyway. One might imagine that the food they made for promo photos would have some extra love. Hopefully not because our food was fairly mediocre. The burger was extremely lacking. My wife paid an extra $25 for avocado and tempeh bacon and got a couple small slices of avocado and three shriveled, flavorless pieces of ordinary tempeh. It came with sweet potato fries, which were decent.
The rueben was a bit better, but still lackluster. A proper rueben should be stuffed and messy, but this one was very stingy. The best part was the veggie chips that came with the rueben. These were delicious, although you won't like them if you don't like a lot of salt like we do.
They did bring out free aguas de sabor "for the wait", but the whole photographing thing was still pretty tacky.
Service was very friendly.
Pros: Veggie chips, Friendly staff, Free aguas de sabor for the wait
Cons: Price, WOW!, Using our meals for photo shoot, Lackluster food

Hit or Miss Food - Edit
Some of the food here was tasty and some wasn't. The cauliflower tacos were very tasty and very fresh. The gnocchi was fried which I have never seen before but it wasn't too bad. However, the tofu in the quinoa bowl was mushy/soft and lacking flavor. My reuben was also just ok, but nothing to write home about. I think it really depends on what you get as some stuff is pretty good and other stuff is just mediocre. The ambiance is nice though with nice design. Service was also a bit spotty and slow. My mom's food came out 10-15 minutes before ours and I had to go in and ask where our food was because I thought they forgot the rest of our order. They do have an English menu.

I've been traveling in Mexico almost three weeks, and this is the first all-vegan restaurant I've been to.
Read moreThis is a casual restaurant in a hip neighborhood. We took a break from exploring the anthropology museum to hop in a cab an come here for lunch
We had the vegan nachos, Reuben sandwich, veggie burger, aho lemonade, and topped it off with coffee and the chocolate ganache cake. Everything was delicious, and the service was excellent. We're often disappointed by the portion sizes in vegan restaurants, but not here!
The price was a bit more than we've paid at other places in Mexico, but completely worth it. I'd come back again without hesitation.
Pros: Vegan, Friendly staff, Nice vibe
Cons: A bit pricey
