The falafel was a bit dry, it could be because it was the end of the day, but still. But there are many other options and it is a good location and it does have a good vibe.

We had the Mexican omelet here (chickpea based) and the double burger. They have a lot of options and very customizable. It feels a little generic as they have everything from pho, burgers, to nuggets and falafel bowls, but we had a great lunch with tasty food.

Had the build/make your own salad, so can’t comment on the taste as such, but they had a good selection of salad and assorted fillings to choose from, and the portion was good and the price good. They were especially generous with the seitan kebab which was very good (usually the type of thing places skimp with). Overall was very satisfied.

Loads of healthy and delicious vergaan options - Edit
Beautiful modern café next to a park. Whole menu is vegan, lots of GF and raw options as well. It was hard to choose from all the fabulous options, so we’ll probably return to try more. The chickpea omelettes are very filling and tasty. Large portions, friendly staff!

Great salad bowls - Edit
Staff were really friendly and helpful. The menu is really big and we went for the build your own salad bowls which were delicious and filling. We also got the plant based nuggets with the vegan tartar sauce and they were great. The only downside was the smoothie as it was super thick and not cold at all so I wouldn't recommend those.

Smoked Tofu Awesomeness - Edit
We had the Far East and Miso Mushroom bowls here and thought they were really nice and fresh. The smoked tofu in the Mushroom bowl was awesome. Our server was very friendly and even gave us directions to a grocery store where we could pick up the same smoked tofu.

Food was good but with poor and unfriendly service. Felt like they did not want to serve us. They took orders from others at tables but did not approach our table or even acknowledge my family. When I went to the counter to place an order and asked about it the said they were too busy. I had to ask twice for ketchup. They could benefit from being friendlier and smile a bit, improve their service, and leave any biases they may have against foreigners at home.

Great range of options at a great price (paid about £20 for 2 mains, a smoothie, a side and a sauce) and good portion sizes. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great atmosphere, would definitely visit again.

Food Garden has a nice ambience and fresh, wholesome dishes. I had a tempeh Buddha bowl which was packed with flavour, and then I couldn’t resist a slice of the tastiest chocolate cake I’ve had in quite some time! Highly recommend.

We tried the bowls. Tasted really healthy, portions could be bigger for the price. My friend liked it a lot, for me it was okay and i wouldn't eat it again (3 stars). I also took the raw cake which was super tasty (5 stars for the cake only😄- would highly recommend to try)

They have fantastic bowls and a decent omelet. Just note that the omelet was more like a thick, stuffed pancake than an omelet from Just Egg or something. It was still quite tasty, just not at all like an omelet.

We both enjoyed our bowls. He had a custom bowl and I had the Miso Mushroom Bowl with tempeh instead of tofu and we both loved them. Not sure what our dessert was made out of other than peanuts, but it was incredible.

A bit disappointing - Edit
I had their seitan kebab wrap. It was OK. They have put quinoa and lentil in the wrap, even though it was not mentioned in the menu. Lentil didn't really go with the rest of the warp,which put me off. Seitan was a bit salty.

This place was very close to my apartment whilst staying in Zagreb and was one of the only vegan places still open in the evening. There is an extensive and varied menu, also menus are available in English if needed. I liked the build your own bowl and opted for that. Plenty of choice and food was all freshly prepared. However for me it did lack flavour and was a little bland. Staff are friendly but it felt like they forgot about you a bit if you were in the bottom part of the restaurant as I was.

The small cafe is friendly and modern decorated with good music. We shared two bowls and a dessert. The fresh smoothie was super nice and the juice okay. Maybe we are used to more friendly stuff but everyone seemed a bit annoyed and sometimes they argued with each other in front of guests.

My bf and I had very different experiences.
Read moreMy boyfriend spoke with a friendly waitress and he really enjoyed his seitan wrap, fries and orange juice.
I ordered the lemonade (supposed to be with agave, fresh mint, ginger,...), but it just tasted like water with a lot of lemon juice. As a main I got a Croatian special dish, which was on a single sheet of paper and not in the main menu, and I did not like it. The waitress I spoke to at the counter wasn't very friendly and the cookie to go was also not that great.

Good breakfast options in a comfy atmosphere - Edit
We went here for breakfast as we arrived in Zagreb early and it was the only place open - and we didn't regret! Breakfast options are a bit limited but the pancakes and vegan Omelette were really good, as were the juices, so all good!
