Amazing! - Edit
They have such a great variety of products.
Read moreI loved the Botanas Michioacanas Chicharrito wheat flour snacks (a vegan version of pork rind snacks) from a Portland company. It was amazing to be able to have my childhood favorites again. I cooked for an event and used these, and the food was a hit!
The mini chocolate cups with mint filling (I forgot the brand name) were winners too, and a sandwich from the cold case.
I was visiting from Japan and even saw our local Japanese product Tsubi Soup in the shop, a vegan-freeze dried miso soup. Try the red miso! (All the flavors are good though.) They are great for hiking and camping. https://www.tsubisoup.com/
Wish we had a shop like this there!
Pros: so many tasty things in one place

Honestly, I used to love to shop here because I didn’t have to read labels, but I got so turned off I left within a few minutes and didn’t complete my shopping.

Loved it! - Edit
Stopped here during my trip and Food Fight! did not disappoint! They had so many vegan items that I was not seen in my hometown ( e.g. vegan shrimp! boxes of truffles!) I also stopped by twice to get their vegan soft serve. When I was there they had chocolate, vanilla and even a chai flavor😄

I love this store! They have everything your vegan heart desires from staples like fresh fruit and veg, pasta, rice, beans, peanut butter, jelly and bread, every kind of vegan milk, meat, cheese and frozen food ever, plus an impressive selection of sweet and salty treats. They even have bulk nuts, soy curls, granola and jerky! Looking to try that new vegan thing you read about in a magazine? Go to Food Fight!

This small grocery store has just about anything you might need, from cleaning supplies to dog food. I loaded up on snacks. If I lived in the area I would go all the time.

Vegan Soft Serve + Typical Vegan Grocery - Edit
The grocery section was pretty much what you’d expect at a vegan grocery - vegan products that are expensive. What sets this store apart is that they have Chocolate and Vanilla Soft Serve soy-based Ice Cream! And it tastes amazing. This store is right by a couple other vegan shops, so I’d recommend checking the area out if you can.

Emiko and Chad are the raddest folks. Portland would not be the vegan utopia it undebatably is without them opening that first Food Fight! on a quiet stretch of SE Division all of those years ago. Go here, buy all of the hard to find noms they painstakingly stock from all over the world and support local progressive businesses!!

Amazing - Edit
It’s really nice not having to check the labels to find out if something is vegan. The store is stocked with lots of products, unfortunately I couldn’t buy much as I’m travelling. I thought it was all very reasonably priced. I purchased mostly just little chocolate/candy products and everything cost about $2 a piece.

I expected the place to be larger when I walked in but in fact it was packed with foods upon foods!! Unfortunately I couldnt buy much as I wasnt staying long but I did buy a drink and some snacks. The prices were relatively cheap and they sold things other than food such as shampoo and beauty prodcuts.

mighty cool - Edit
This shop is part of a vegan mini strip mall in Portland that includes a bakery/cafe, clothing shop, vegan tattoo parlor, and vegan clothing shop. They had a fine selection of all the vegan essentials and some great surprises like an amazing local Oregon soy curls jerky! Make it a point to find the mini mall when in Portland!
