Wir waren im Juli 2022 dort essen - eine absolute Herzensempfehlung! Als Vorspeise unbedingt die Keeseecken bestellen, sie ziehen wirklich Fäden! Außerdem hatten wir noch die Tagessuppe, Basilikumcreme, ebenfalls sehr zu empfehlen. Da wir am Dönerdonnerstag dort waren, war die Hauptspeise schnell gewählt. Unserer Meinung nach würde hier keinem Fleischesser ein Unterschied auffallen, wenn sie es nicht wüssten😉

Best vegan meal possibly ever - Edit
Visiting Berlin and have obviously been scoping out all vegan spots that I can. I went to around 10 during my visit- Försters being the best vegan meal I had. Quite possibly the best vegan meal I have EVER had. I went on a Monday and they had a schnitzel special. I made a reservation and the place was pretty by the time I left. Amazing.

I had been twice in this place and tasted some plates. Definitely recommend the vegan cheese wedges, they are perfect, and the creamy chanterelles. The Schnitzel with potato salad and cucumber salad is also very tasty. One of the few restaurants that offer veganised traditional German cuisine. The place has a nice atmosphere and is usually full, definitely recommend booking a table.

Die Vorspeise war wirklich sehr gut.
Schlecht war:
Die Hauptgerichte allerdings waren eher mittelmässig Und nicht gut abgeschmeckt, preislich eher etwas höher.
Uns wurde ein falsches Hauptgericht gebracht, welches wir nicht bestellt hatten.
Dieses haben wir zwar direkt moniert, mussten es aber trotzdem bezahlen (zu 50% des preises) und nochmal warten bis das eigentliche Gericht kam, welches wir bestellt hatten.
Es kam uns dann alles etwas unbeholfen vor, obwohl wir daran ja keine Schuld getragen haben, schade.

- „Käseecken“ - außergewöhnlich gut. Absolut zu empfehlen.
- Linsenbraten mit Kartoffelbrei, Karotten und grüner Soße - sehr lecker, allerdings waren der Kartoffelbrei und die Karotten nur noch lauwarm und der Linsenbraten schon eher kalt.

Very tasty veganised traditional German cuisine. I had the Wiener Schnitzel with potato salad and cucumber salad, which was very tasty. The menu is seasonal and there are also weekly and daily specials. There is also a good selection of vegan wines. The restaurant was very full, I would definitely recommend booking a table.

Leider waren wir nicht so zufrieden. Durch die offene Tür war es etwas kalt und daher mussten einige mit Jacke essen. Die Bedienung hätte etwas freundlicher sein können.

Wir hatten einen Tisch an Silvester reserviert. Dazu das 6-Gang-Menü. Sehr sehr köstliche Gerichte & überragend angerichtet. Wobei der vierte Gang sehr „fleischlastig“ war.. & für unseren Geschmack zu viel.

Read moreFor starters I had the cheese bites that did not taste great. I can make them better and tastier myself, so don’t recommend them. The vegan duck they have during Christmas time tastes absolutely horrible.
Also, for some reason the plates are always way too overloaded, which makes it a good price food ratio. but I’d rather pay 5€ less than overeating and getting two full meals out of it.
I am not a fan of the interior, it doesn’t feel very cosy and looks rather cheap in my opinion.
Staff is incredibly slow and constantly seems overwhelmed, not knowing what they are doing

The food is fantastic! It is not so easy for us to find vegan restaurants that the kids like too. Usually we eat Asian, so this is something completely different. I have eaten here a few times and every time I was happy. The tiramisu was so good. The atmosphere is also nice: warm and cozy.

Read moreForget all about the fact that this place serves vegan versions of German food. They do, yes, and if you want to try some traditional German dishes in vegan form, go for it. But they serve *delicious* food, and that's the real thing you should take away from this review.
It is recommended to book in advance, I believe, since it's quite popular and their opening hours are a bit weird. Starters and mains were all very creative and excellent.
I'm confused by some of the other reviews. I had the mock duck and it was outstanding; great flavours and textures with a lovely blend between the different ingredients. Is it duck? No. But if you want actual duck, maybe you shouldn't be vegan.
Good selection of drinks, staff is nice, the inside is super cozy.
I'd eat here every day if Iived in Berlin.

Pretty fancy restaurant with a focus on making vegan versions of traditional German cuisine.
Read moreAs a starter I had the pumpkin soup. It was delicious but I wished I had gotten some bread with it.
For the main course I had the fake duck, which was a mistake. I did not like it and the others I were with did not really either. Might've been my fault for picking something that tried to replicate a German dish so much.
I would not mind going back here and trying something else, like the lasagna.

Best traditional vegan German food - Edit
Ich habe noch nie bessere deutsche vegane Küche gegessen. Ich habe fast jedes Gericht probiert und kein einziges hat mir nicht geschmeckt. Hervorzuheben sind die Käseecken und das Tiramisu.
