Hearty pre-flight food

Hurrah! We finally flew so we could eat at Floret. The food and service was just as lovely as at the Madison location. Airport-environment, but not airport food. The portions were huge. Food and drinks were delicious. So great to have this option at Sea-Tac Airport.

Pros: Cinnamon rolls (not gender roles!), Large portions, Friendly staff

Cons: Well, it's still in an airport (noisy)

was let down

I prepared to be wowed but was disappointed. The vegan chilaquiles were very oversalted, and I like salty food. I had a cocktail (lemon rosemary something?) but the flavor was pretty weak. The soy latte was good and so was the service.

I would go back if I am ever in that airport again though. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day.

Be careful if you're in a hurry- there's a time between breakfast and lunch when they don't serve any food. There was a line too- it seemed pretty hectic.

It was a good place to sit for awhile and work on my laptop.

Refreshing airport fuel

Half their menu is vegan including the cinnamon rolls, biscuits and gravy. They also have a grab and go station and sell Theo chocolates. Kambucha on tap was very good. Price is high, but so is all airport food. Avocado toast was very good, a little heavy handed on the sesame drizzle, but this will be my stop from now one when at this airport. Staff was great and food came out in good time

Refreshing airport fare

As a frequent traveler who lives off airport French fries it's extremely refreshing to run across such an amazing veg restaurant in an airport. The breakfast and lunches are equally amazing. The mushroom French dip is a favorite for lunch. The southern breakfast is a hit for the morning! Can't go wrong here.

Pros: So many options

Cons: Meals average 15-20$

amazing airport vegan food

The forager scramble with tofu is delicious, and so is their rosemary lemonade. There was another scramble I got in the fall that was really exceptional, with tons of flavor (well spiced) with zucchini and cherry tomatoes. The yam fries with the cayenne aioli is also worth getting. The only thing I've been disappointed with was the chai latte - way too much cinnamon, and wasn't what I would prefer for creaminess and spiciness. I travel the Pacific Northwest, and a few other places quite often for work, and this place can't be beat as far as airport vegan options! Floret makes it much more desirable to layover in Seattle for Alaska flights, and I'd almost rather stop at Floret than take a nonstop😄

Pros: rosemary lemonade, tofu scramble at an airport

Cons: not as many GF lunch options

Finally!

For years I hated traveling for work because I was always hungry once I got to the airport and there were no vegan options. Floret has all the favourites from Cafe Flora (biscuits and gravy for breakfast!) incredible lattes (my favourite is the oat milk lavender, they have decaf espresso too) and great grab and go’s if you’re in a hurry. Staff has always been quick and friendly - can’t say I’d be that way always dealing with grumpy travelers!

Pros: Quick, Amazing Lattes , Vegan options

Terrible customer service

Got off a 6 hour flight, hadn't had any food because airport before had no vegan options. I was extremely looking forward to this restaurant, planned on ordering a ton for my family of 4 as we were so hungry. We get there at 11:07, and were told no more food until 11:45am at the earliest because they were switching from breakfast to lunch. Are you kidding me? I have 2 hungry kids with me, I don't care if the grab n go was open, that's not the food my kids will eat. I left in tears. The lady was not very kind, showed absolute no remorse, and I could tell she was snickering to her co workers about us. Won't be supporting this restaurant ever again. This vegan is very disappointed.

Pros: Some vegan options

Cons: Expensive, bad customer service

So convenient and delicious

We had lunch here on a weekend, before our flight. Restaurant is located near the Delta gates (A series), but easily accessible via the airport monorail or walking. I’d like to push back a little on other reviews that said this place is pricey. While it is not fast food cheap, it was reasonable ($16.50 for vegan veggies burger and fries e.g.) and for that your are getting full sit down restaurant experience. The value proposition is absolutely there. Easily the best vegan meal I have ever had at an airport worldwide!

Fantastic find

Came across this gem in Sea-Tac airport by concourse A. Vegetarian/vegan establishment. Has a sit down area to order off the menu, also a pick up and go counter that does brisk business. Everything vegan and gluten free is clearly marked as such. Good variety. I tried the molasses cookie and the blueberry muffin (both vegan) and they were great. Their hot chocolate made with oat milk is excellent.
Staff members are good, engaging.
They open pretty early, they were open and doing good business before 6am when my early morning flight landed.
The one drawback is the pricing. It’s exorbitant even by airport standards. They sell a vegan coconut cake that looks amazing, the $8.50 price per slice made me put it back on the shelf lol. That’s the reason I’m taking one star away.
They also have a regular restaurant in Seattle city. I did not get to visit it as I was only flying through.

Pros: Good vegan variety, Staff members are knowledgeable about vegan items, Excellent option for vegans flying via SeaTac

Cons: Expensive

If you have the time, try an hour in the sit-down restaurant!

I love Floret, it was one of the things that excited me most about moving to Seattle (home-basing out of the Seattle airport). However, having been to Floret a few times, I do have a substantial bias for the sit-down portion of the restaurant over the grab and go part of the restaurant. The grab and go counter has a much smaller vegan section, and the options are a bit barren. They'll do in a pinch, but they're not really worth the airport prices, in my opinion. The sit-down area on the other hand, is heaven, and if you're passing through, definitely make an effort to set aside enough time to have a leisurely breakfast once you make it past security. Wow. The food is delicious and the space somehow seems sheltered from the bustle of the airport. The coffee is Stumptown, the alternative milks include oat milk, and the biscuits and gravy may be my favorite biscuits and gravy ever.

5 stars only for the sit-down area (even if it wasn't in the airport), the take-away would get 3 (because it's still the airport).

Pros: Delicious food and coffee at quantity, Very calming experience for an airport., All vegetarian

Cons: Take-away area has smaller portions/fewer options

Wonderful mini-version of Cafe Flora with a convenient location in the airport.

I had the vegan version of the Southern Slam, the greens were a little different but it was 90% of the same great taste as the main restaurant. Obviously the atmosphere here is not as wonderful as the main restaurant but it’s really nice and exceptionally good for airport food. They are also open really early which is a huge plus. The restaurant is also really clean and has really nice staff too.

Pros: Lots of vegan options., Nice Staff., great food.

Best airport breakfast we’ve ever had

We are regular diners at Cafe Flora, so we were really excited to finally get to try Floret before flying out of SeaTac. It was great to finally have the option of a sit down, full breakfast at the airport. A bit more limited in scope than Flora, but delicious nonetheless. Our server, Michael, was also very pleasant at 7:00 in the morning! They also have a great vegan grab & go selection, which is a plus if you are in a hurry and can’t sit down.

Pros: Vegan eats at the airport!, Lots of grab & go options, Friendly staff

Cons: Not 100% vegan, A bit pricey - but what isn’t at the airport

5 star airport dining!!!

I was so excited to find this vegetarian restaurant with delicious vegan choices on the menu in SEATAC! About half of the menu is vegan (the other half has cheese), and the desserts are both vegan! I had the black bean burger and yam fries and everything was incredibly delicious and filling. I had been thinking about dessert, but was too full. Don't even hesitate if you're in SeaTac, this restaurant is delicious!

Pros: great vegan options, filling, yum!
