NOW IN FREMANTLE….GOOD MOVE - Edit
Service fantastic.
Read moreFood amazing.
Venue incredible.
Glad to see some savoury takeaway options…the avocado, hummus and salad rolls were delicious….hoping to see more of that sort of thing!!
I’m a long term Northbridge fan, but happy to follow them to Freo.
Pros: Beautiful Venue, Service has improved, Savoury takeaway options
Cons: Would like to see some hot savoury options to T/A

Good - Edit
freshly prepared, good vegan food, but nothing crazy. apart from the Caesar salad and iced tea I had, we shared a “peanut butter slice”, which was really good.😄so it is more suitable to have a coffee and something alongside it, rather than a full lunch/meal.

Bad service - Edit
I ordered the pancakes, was told that they didn't have any which was ok I just ordered something else instead, I then saw pancakes come out for someone who has ordered after me, when I asked about this I was met with a blank stare and then a I'll see what I can do, then nothing... very strange place. Paid $66 or 2 drinks that were really bad and a bowel of barley with supermarket salad leaves and a tablespoon of peanut butter...

Nice pancakes - Edit
I ordered a soy iced maple latte, a long black and the strawberry pancakes. It was hot again and we sat outside under an umbrella. You get the menu, order at the kitchen which is a couple of doors down. The strawberry pancakes were nice with coconut cream and fruit. They were filling too. The iced maple latte was delicious and the long black was nice. The menu is small. I noticed they had pastries this morning. I did go on the day I arrived and had a peanut butter blondie which was delicious.

„Not available“ - Edit
We got the menu from the waitress and after 10 minutes we wanted to order. Both of the meals we wanted to order were not available. We also got a drink we haven’t ordered - the one we ordered was not available too (they offered a refund).
Read moreA waitress clearly should tell the guests which meals/drinks are currently not available. We wested a lot of time… Sadly won‘t come back.
Pros: Nice atmosphere , Vegan menu
Cons: A lot of meals from menu not available , Unhelpful staff, have to order 2 stores away from the actual restau

Great location, tasty food - Edit
Flora and Fauna is a beautiful spot. Tucked away in an alley with a lovely “living room” and balcony bench to dine at.
Read moreThis place is 98% vegan. Which is frustrating. As far as I can tell the only non-vegan product they sell is cow milk.
Still, the food was great. We had and enjoyed the Mac and cheese and the Thai bowl, which had a great peanut sauce.
Enjoyed a little oat and chocolate cookie as a snack before hand which was great too.

All food ‘accidentally’ vegan - Edit
Lovely cafe with an indoor part and a spacious outdoors area. It is a vegetarian cafe with all food just happening to be vegan.
Read moreUnfortunately they do charge an extra 50c for plant based milks 😕
The service was slow but worth the wait, the strawberry shortcake pancakes were great! And the pumpkin smashed avo good too.
The chocolate croissant was good but tasted a bit burnt.

Creative vegan food - Edit
I went there twice and was surprised both times by their creativity: at Flora&Fauna you won’t get the usual Avocado Toast or Mac’n Cheese, but much better versions of those usual vegan dishes. Really delicious, creative vegan food and lovely, cosy interior as well!

new fave spot - Edit
The pandan pancakes were delicious. They were super fluffy, moist and sweet, in combination with the condensed coconut milk (?) nearly a bit too sweet for my liking. Loved the mint on them!! The sitting area had a very calming atmosphere; it felt so relaxing to sit here and enjoy my chai latte (not sweet, but rather spicy/aromatic). Definitely will be back to try out the other items on the menu!

Cakes ok but they serve dairy milk - Edit
We had the banana bread with peanut butter and the chocolate brownie.
Read moreThe first one was a bit dry but it was a good portion.
The brownie wasn’t so good, still a bit frozen and too sweet.
But the worst thing is : THEY SERVE COW MILK !!! You need to pay an extra 50 cents if you want a vegan milk, that’s ridiculous !!
They said everywhere on their menu that everything is fully vegan, but they automatically serve cow milk.. and they charge you if you want it vegan. What a shame, I won’t come back again
Pros: Fully vegan menu
Cons: They serve dairy milk

Mind blowing brunch 100% vegan - Edit
It’s easy to get lost in the menu as it has so many savory/ sweet breakfast or brunch options! The portions are huge and calories packed, presentation is impressive. Certainly will be back when in Perth!

Disappointing salad, nice cakes - Edit
I liked the vibe of flora and fauna and was keen to try an all vegan food menu.however, I was quite disappointed with the tofu Midwestern salad.tofu was flavourless and not crunchy, the [censored] of the lettuce was still in there and although the ranch dressing was nice I probably wouldn't recommend it.my partner had the Mac and cheese which he liked but there was also a hair in it...
Read moreI gave it a 3 instead of a 2 because their cakes were really nice and maybe it is just that their savory options are not too great. I would maybe try again but get the waffles.
Pros: All vegan except drinks, Nice vibe

Pretty cakes - Edit
Really gorgeous looking cakes in the cabinet, sadly we didn't have room to try one! The Thai Noodle Salad was really tasty thanks to the peanut satay sauce. Sadly the vegan Chicken and Waffle was a bit disappointing as it was all cold, we assumed it was supposed to be served this way as it wasn't even slightly warm, it was actually cold. I would have preferred it have been warmed up, or the waffle to have been cooked fresh straight from the pan. The coleslaw was really chunky. We had to wait a while for the drinks, but the food arrived quickly. Overall, considering there aren't many vegan/veggie eateries in Perth it was a relief to find somewhere that is meat free and serves dishes that look great.

Great food, but not so great customer service - Edit
I've come here more times than I can count, but purely because of the food. If you're looking for friendly and quick customer service, go somewhere else. Nearly every time, they give you drinks so late that you've already finished eating. They're also not fully vegan and serve nutella and cow's milk.

Pleasantly surprised - Edit
It was a cold wet day and we ate in the indoor eating area which was tiled and felt a bit lifeless. The dining area was trumped by the delicious food and the lovely service. Would 100% go back again. The sweets were 10/10!
