Not happy about my last visit here - Edit
My family and I are repeat customers of both Fina's restaurants over the last 5 years. Prices keep going up, and amount of food in each dish keeps going down. This time we ordered a 2-person mushroom hotpot, advertised at $37 on the menu, which is already expensive, especially considering the amount of mushrooms was low, and lacked the advertised oyster mushrooms. I was shocked to discover the price of this dish on the bill was $45! The guy at the till showed me another menu where the price had obviously been manually changed to $45. Even the menu on their website still displays the $37 price. I won't be coming back in a hurry. To end on a positive note, the food was delicious!

Tasty with friendly vibes. - Edit
Love Fina's! They do Vietnamese Vegan and do it well. Also consistently delicious noodle soup which is good for hot or cold weather. Staff are very friendly and the setting is comfortable. Flexible with menu changes i.e. no mock meat etc.

Cons: I'd prefer less mainstream soft drinks on the menu

A Little Underwhelming - Edit
If you prefer a tipple with your Vietnamese, this is the place to go. There are some decent Vietnamese vegan establishments in this town (Loving Hut in Northcote, Bo de Trai and Huong Viet in Footscray spring to mind), but their religious proclivities prohibit the consumption of alcohol.
Read moreAt Finas 2 the food is always tasty, however servings tend to be small and key ingredients listed on the menu are often entirely absent. Rather than abundance and generosity, the dishes here tend to portray stinginess and scarcity. Having compared identical dishes at the two Finas, however, this one is a distinct improvement on the Richmond store - even the occasional oriental mushroom can be found.
Pros: vegan, nice vibe and decor, licenced and BYO
Cons: servings often missing core ingredients, portions on the stingy side, nary a vegetable in sight

bland and overly salty - Edit
Claypot: tonnes of mock meat in what tasted like just soy sauce (unpleasant). Veg curry: didn't taste of anything. Snickers cake: amazing. 3 stars for the great cake selection and for being vegan.

I'll definitely be back! - Edit
Wow I am positively surprised by Finas2! It's a lovely restaurant, super friendly staff and the food is just SO good! It's also reasonably priced which means you'll totally have to fit in one of their raw dessert options.... oh god I loved all of it! Considering that I had such a hard time choosing main and dessert I'll definitely be back and try some other options!

AMAZINGGGGGG!! - Edit
A cozy place which serves fully vegan Vietnamese/Asian food. Always great service with a smile. Dishes are properly labelled as GF (gluten-free), OGF (onion & garlic free), MSGF. There are mock meats used in some of the dishes which you'd choose to have NMM and replace with more tofu or vegetables - how awesome! Well, if you're a fan of mock meat, you can actually request MMM (more mock meat)!

The interior is nice with some green on the walls and plants in hanging buckets. I ordered a special noodle soup which tasted very good and came in very quickly. The main courses are cheap, entrees and desserts are decently priced I think.

It's fully vegan!! Omg!! Also Asian food which is my favourite. Gluten free options clearly marked and good amount of options. Food is light on oil and healthy too so you don't feel crap after! They have loads of vegan gf cakes too which I didn't try.

Enjoyable meal - Edit
I had rice paper rolls and edamame for entree and a stir fried vegetables with rice noodles for main. Everything was fresh and tasty. Staff were friendly and helpful, they were happy to substitute faux bacon for faux chicken in the noodle dish. I'd like it if there were more options with mock chicken as the mock meat or without mock meat at all, as I'm not super keen on most mock meat, but I know some people love it...
