So good, but so wrong. I've tried most things on the menu but you can't go wrong with the regular burger the fries (perfect) and a shake.

5 star shakes, 2 star burgers - Edit
The malteados (shakes) came out first and I was blown away. I have never enjoyed a creamy vegan shake like this. I tried both the salty Vanilla and Salty Chocolate, both were fantastic.
Read moreSadly I cannot give praises to the burgers or fries. The fries were fine, nothing special but the burgers I tried were disappointing. I tried both the Pancho Vegano Burger and the regular Fat Vegan Burger. Neither tasted like anything special or even decent. I tried many vegan burgers in my life and these were some of the least special I've tried. The cheese on the Pancho Vegano was great but other than it didn't taste great.
This place is worth visiting solely for the shakes but skip the burgers.
Pros: Amazing vegan deserts (malteados) , No really, go for the malteados , Cute logo

Amazing vegan burgers. My mom and bf (non-vegans) have tried these burgers and fell in love with them. The fries are amazing and milkshakes too!

Absolutely delicious. Favorite vegan restaurant we visited on our trip, tied only with a vegan traditional taco place. Great service. I highly recommend the Cesar salad and the buffalo wings (alitas). The wings have a nice kick to them, and the Cesar salad is one of the best I’ve had. Multiple types of agua fresca available. “Fat Breakfast” 10-1 Weds-Sun.

This is the kind of places that will turn the World vegan: it offers tasty food that is familiar for non vegs, while enlarging the offer to vegans.
Read moreI really loved everything about this place: the food, the service, the fact that there was no loud music....
There are probably two things to improve: this is a small place with like 4 tables, so effectively this is more of a to-go kind of place. I hope this place is really successful so that they can have more space to accommodate more people. The second thing is that the vanilla ice cream looks a lot like McDonald’s but tastes a little bit different -I know this may sound like a lot, but anyway.
Highly recommended, I look forward to going back soon.

This place is incredible. Over the 9 years I’ve been vegan my go to food when out is a vegan burger. The tofu burger I had yesterday was absolutely incredible. With a huge serve of chips as well- such great value. AND they have vegan soft serve ice-cream. The owners are lovely too- if in Mexico City you MUST eat at Fat Vegan. ¡Es excelente y delicioso!

Amazing burgers and friendly staff!!! - Edit
We randomly found this place in late November 2019 while exploring the Roma neighborhood. 1) The burger and fries were out of this world good! 2) The owners and staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. 3) They have only been open less than a week--we were so lucky to find them! The food was perfect, the staff were great, and the restaurant was very cute. Go there immediately--you won't be disappointed!
