Delicious vegan falafel!

I had the pocket sized falafel which is a great size for a lunch portion. The sandwich was delicious. Just make sure to ask for no dairy for the vegan option. The sandwich has a tahini sauce, fried eggplant, tomatoes and cucumbers inside along with the hot fried falafels. Very tasty!

Cons: No seating

delicious and cheap!

Ordered the falafel pocket, spicy (twice) and it was excellent. You can't find a cheaper meal in the area. No restaurant seating, but plenty of options outside.

Pros: great falafel , fast service

Cons: no indoor seating

Helpful Staff

I turned up just before they were open but the staff were super friendly and helped me out. I got the giant falafel wrap and said that I wanted it dairy free. When I said that they said the vegan option! It's awesome to have such helpful staff. And a huge bonus that the food was amazing!! And so filling

Pros: helpful staff that know about vegan stuff

Cons: none

just dont

why on earth would anyone go and wait forever in line to get a greek falafel when there's tons of places nearby that offer falafel from ppl that have actually been making that traditionally. the epitome of hipster gentrification where this place is presented as the "best falafel in athens" while there's so many places ran by immigrants/non greeks offering much better food

Best falafel ever

Honestly, the best falafel wrap I’ve ever eaten. Went to Athens for a long weekend and ate here three times (it would’ve been 4 but they were closed on Sunday). Ask for no yoghurt sauce if vegan - it still has hummus and a roasted vegetable sauce as well. £3.80 for a large wrap

Pros: yum, cheap, fresh

Cons: closed on Sunday

worth it

Pretty good, filling, cheap, but not as good as Falafel House.
By the way, I would have this at 5 stars but Happy Cow isn't allowing me to for some reason.

The best Falafel ever!

The best falafel that I have ever taste! I prefer it extra spicy and without the yogurt sauce! The value is good, you can choose either the pocket size or the big one. I always choose the big one of course :P

Pros: Excellent Taste, Kind Staff

Cons: Very often the queues are very long

Best falafel in Athens

It's impossible to miss this place as you will always see a huge line of people waiting to order. The hype is justified in this case, as the falafel is definitely the best in Athens.

The staff are super friendly and funny, and they understand exactly what "vegan" means and will give you the correct falafel.

You can also get your falafel extra spicy here which is not common at other places in Greece.

Pros: Great falafel, Fantastic staff

Eggplant!

The falafel was nice. Some grilled eggplant in it makes it even better!

omg that falafel!

If you're after an amazingly filling, cheap meal in Athens, this is the place! A small falafel is €2.80, large is €3.80. They even put a bunch of eggplant in it which was such a great touch!

If you are vegan though, make sure you specify no yogurt sauce. They put some on mine because I didn't think they would, so just fair warning!

Pros: yummy, cheap, lots of veggies

The best falafel

This is the best falafel I have ever tried in my life. When we went there on a Sunday there was a line of about 8 people. We didn't feel like waiting so we went elsewhere but at end we couldn't resist and we came back to try what everyone else is queuing for and we were glad we did. The falafel was tender, very flavorful and fresh. It could be a bit cheaper but compared to the other falafel places in Athens, I think the price is worth it.

Pros: delicious

Cons: expensive

Original Falafel in Athens

This is the first falafel shop in Athens and with a super tasty falafel it is no wonder it is thriving.

The falafel is big and full of veggies... most notably eggplant chunks. And while I am not a big fan of eggplant, it did not ruin my experience... though it also didn't help it.

I also asked for hummus on my falafel in place of yogurt, though the employees simply told me they use tahini and did not give me hummus on my falafel. Disappointing.

However, the falafel was big and filling and even tasty, though obvious improvements could be made.

Still a great place if you're in a pinch.

Pros: Large portions, Cheap prices, Central location

Cons: Not very accommodating to customer requests, Large, chunky vegetable pieces in falafel, Not very accommodating to customer requests

Over rated :/

We had a nice but not exceptional falafel there. We liked the vegetables next to the falafel but the falafel itself was pretty dry.

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: The falafel was a bit dry...

Loved it!

i had selected a few vegetarian restaurants in Athens, before my trip. This was one of them. I did not have to look up the address - as I was walking by I saw this long line of people waiting for their turn to order. And I had a huge falafel, very tasty and fresh. It is a just a counter right on the street, where you place your order. There are some benches on the street where you can seat down to eat. I recommend this place. As I remenber, I paid 3.80 euros for a huge falafel (January 2016).

Pros: tasty, fresh, delicious, cheap

Cons: no tables

Very good street food

It's a small take away falafel/meat shop, in the city centre, with polite staff, cheap and very tasty food. There is always a long queue of people waiting to be served but it's worth it.

SOO good!!

We found Falafellas around lunch time and it was super busy, which we knew was a good sign. My partner and I ordered a large pita to share and I have to say it is THE best falafel I have ever had! It was so delicious, there were roasted vegetables inside, salad, with a little paprika sprinkled on the top, just the right combination of flavours to make it SO yummy! If we had stayed for longer in Athens, we would have been back for sure.

Pros: Delicious, Friendly staff

Cons: Not too much space to sit and eat.

The best falafel ever!

I will begin by saying that falafel is my favorite food. So i have a habit that whenever i go to a new city i am looking around to find a place that serves it. And i have to say that this was the best falafel that i ever ate!
