Best falafel and hummus I’ve had in samui! We Have gone back multiple times for the falafel pitta & it never fails. Everything is so fresh I could eat this all day 😭
Had a delicious vegan meal at the food truck in Chawaeng, Koh Samui. Staff not friendly, and NO PRICES to be seen anywhere. So strange - the first restaurant I've been to in Thailand that doesn't display any prices - makes you wonder if they're making up the prices?? I suspect not - but it's a bit overprices for a simple meal - almost what you'd pay in Canada at 150 Baht per meal. Wny not just display your prices - then it takes the mystery out of it!
So glad that this place exists though - cos'being gluten free it made a nice change from fried rice!!
Stood at the counter with no acknowledgement from either person until I waved my hands and said hello. Not the best start to an experience. No prices listed which is also not the best. Tasty 150 baht falafel sandwich. The falafels were fried to order (3-4 came in the sandwich), pita was fluffy and fresh, veggies were nice as was the hummus at the bottom. Not sure what the sauce was, maybe tahini? The sandwich was really good. Not just good because it was a nice change from eating Asian food for three months - it was stand alone really good. It is a food cart and they have a couple tables outside with a fan. Hit this place up!
chaweng beach can be a traveler’s paradise or a hedonist’s hot spot. for the vegans among us, falafel mor is a welcome oasis. it’s a small food truck at the end of an alley leading to ark resort/bar, and worth the effort to find it. the falafel and hummus plate with fresh tahini is excellent. be sure to bring your google translate app, if you want to deviate from the menu for 100% vegan or gluten free options. oh, yeah, it’s worth another mention that IT’S OPEN 24/7. enjoy!!
Got a falafel here after leaving Basilicom unhappy following poor service. This is a food truck/stall that I think is targeting drunks leaving Ark Bar. Friendly service and you choose what fresh fillings you want. 150 THB for the falafel.
