Fab country restaurant - Edit
First of all this is not easy to find - unless you have a good map of Inca. Avenida Bisbe Llompart is shown on Google maps as Carrer Bisbe Llompart. Once we found it we were delighted with the whole meal. Four course lunch at 11.80EUR. Olives & bread on table. Soup (or juice or salad). Bean stew or basmati veg with rice. Seitan with veg or lentil croquettes with couscous. Truffles or cake with beetroot topping (MUCH nicer than it sounds!). None of this was sophisticated or fancy. But it was all absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every mouthful. Rustic and freshly cooked. The family were just charming even though none had very much English. If this were our local restaurant we'd be back for more, and more. If you like veggie food or just want to try the rustic style make the effort to go. (For our other main veggie experience in Mallorca see our review of Bon Lloc in Palma - a very different style.)

Excellent Gourmet Vegetarian Food - Edit
Organic, extremely fresh and excellently-prepared gourmet vegetarian food. Potatoes stuffed with chestnuts was a highlight as was homemade hazlenut flan. The three course menu of the day, including something to drink was 11 euros. Extraordinary value for cooking of this calibre.
Read moreSecond visit had the four course lunch menu including a gluten free pizza made with a squash base, garden salad, risotto and homemade desert. Also homemade gluten free biscuits were excellent. Includes a bottle of mineral water or other drink. 10.80 euros. High quality ingredients and freshly prepared. Nice quiet terrace or tables inside the cooler interior.

It's ok .... - Edit
Really liked the idea behind this place with all the veggies being grown on the local farm. 4 course lunch for 11.80euros consisted of small plates of little taster dishes. One previous review mentioned how oily the food was and I have to agree. It took away the crisp and freshness of the veggies. All in all the meal was ok and they catered for gluten free too. I believe there are better places to go and it's not worth travelling specially to unless you are in the area.

Great value - Edit
This was one of the best experiences we had in Mallorca. All you can eat and drink here is organic, even the restaurant is certified as organic something that I have never seen. The business is run by a charming family which also grows its own vegetables.

balanced - Edit
I had a great four course lunch here which cost under 12euros.
Read moreIt was good to go to Inca away from the tourist resorts in Majorca, you feel like you are experiencing food made for locals and not visitors. Es Ginebro offers a four course lunch which is great value and feels very balanced and nutritious. An emphasis on organic is always a positive start and i really felt that there was great mix of food, pulses, grains, fruit and vegetable.
Each dish was tasty although the main was a little salty for my taste. Each course was either vegan or had a vegan choice and every item tasted fresh. There was a reasonable lunchtime crowd and the staff were lovely and very accommodating. If i had second visit I may have given 5 cows but I just have a preference for an a la carte menu and it's not always my preference to eat out and be told this is what you are having.
Overall i would really recommend a visit here if you have a visit to Majorca.
Pros: Staff , balanced and nutritious, organic
Cons: Set meal

Nice place, good Quality - Edit
We arrived in Inca at 5 pm and had to wait some time for the restaurant to be opened. We did not regret the waiting time. The restaurant as a place is nicely furnished with a terrace. The lady who looks after it, the daughter of the chef, is very very charming. They serve one standard meal and it was completely vegan. The vegetables come from their own garden. Everything was delicious. We only paid €35 for two incl. good wine. It was a very pleasant experience and I can only recommend El Ginebro!

Simple but very, very good food - Edit
The restaurant has an Organic certification. It was also recognized as the only restaurant for the ecological management of the Balearic Government. The interior is simple but nicely designed and the food is excellent. The menu changes daily. Everyone can feel comfortable there, especially since the service is also very, very friendly. They cook vegetarian and vegan for always is a sufficient supply available. New: Sunday for lunch is also open...

Great organic food - Edit
From all the vegetarian restaurants we visited during our Mallorca holiday, this was our favourite. The restaurant offers a daily changing menu (which costs about 15 €) and for every of the 4 courses, you can choose between 2 options. We tried both and everything was very good. Our favourite was a Swiss roll with mint cream. We were also served fresh bread with olives and crackers with beetroot spread before the menu. The owners grow most of the vegetables in their own garden and are incredibly friendly. We had a wonderful evening at Es Ginebro.

Place to be in Inca: great organic food! - Edit
This is the first organic restaurant on the island of Mallorca. The owners are very nice and gentle. In the shop you see pictures of their gardens (where the food comes from). The food tastes really good! Shop opens around 13:00, make sure you get there in time, around 14:00 more (local) people will be there.

Delicious and organic - Edit
This restaurant is a gem - we ate lunch here three times in one week. The decor is simple but tasteful. The service is friendly and accommodating. And the food! There were two options for each of the four courses. Not understanding much Spanish, my husband and I always ordered one of each and shared. We were never disappointed. The chef uses fresh organic ingredients, much of it from his own farm, and he likes to experiment with different flavour combinations. His creations are delicate and well-presented. If I knew anything about fine dining, I'd venture to say that Es Ginebro gave us an alternative gourmet experience for 10 euros.
