Foodgasm! - Edit
I wish I could rate this place 10 stars! Holy bananas y'all, this place is it! I had the Nashville fried chick'n sandwich (which was out of this world, fried to perfection with a side of fries, which were also extremely tasty and crunchy), and my husband ordered the smash burger with coleslaw which he said were both awesome. Definitely try this place if you're in the area. The hype is real. Ignore the negative Nancy review below me, I think they were having a bad day 🤣

Decent food but not living up to the hype - Edit
First I do want to say how great the service was. The people there are all genuinely awesome and friendly. Although, the food didn't really live up to the hype imo. The seitan used for the chicken was pretty darn tough. Tried the bbq sandwich and it was lacking, well, bbq. Also could have done with a creamier coleslaw. Also got the bhan chi and it was ok, nothing super punchy or spicy as it was described to me but it was decent. I'll definitely be going back to try the other items, glad to see an all vegan restaurant downtown!

Super friendly and fast - Edit
Our sever, Macy, was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, especially the nachos. You'd think your eating meat. Food was all a little heavy, but it is pub food.

Great Food & Atmosphere - Edit
This is such a nice all vegan option in Raleigh! The food I tried was really good. Very similar to The Remedy Diner before they closed. Overall, great experience!

Okay but boring - Edit
Good vegan food but I've had more interesting flavors before. Was really excited about fobster roll but compared to the rest of the meals brought it looked pathetic, nowhere near enough mushrooms and generally more lettuce than stuffing. Impossible burger was tasty. Fries were okay, tater tots were fine but nothing incredible, a little dry imo. Drinks were great and we did a wings appetizer that was pretty tasty.

All around fantastic experience! Delicious food and great service. - Edit
We had the BBQ, Buffalo Chicken sandwich, and burgers for the kids. All of it was delicious and the waitstaff was attentive and fast. Raleigh’s vegan restaurant options have been limited, so Element is a welcome addition. We will definitely be going back soon.

Great New Raleigh Vegan Option - Edit
I went during the week of their "soft opening" and was very pleased. The food was delicious. The chef/owner took the time to speak to every table, and told us about their care in sourcing completely vegan food. They even have their seitan specially made, and I could definitely tell. I think this spot will help relieve some of the wait at Fiction Kitchen, which is just down the street, and gives another much-needed vegan alternative in the area. They also have a great specialty cocktail menu and it looks like they'll have pour-your-own beer post-pandemic.

Run, don’t walk! - Edit
I have been vegetarian since 2005 and fully vegan since 2009. This is one of the best vegan places I have been to - so excited they are so close to home! Their fried “chicken” is out of this world. Super nice staff And amazing atmosphere!

Feeds your soul - Edit
This is an entirely vegan restaurant, which we are sorely lacking in raleigh, so it was great to see it opening up. We were able to try it out for the soft opening, and found out what this place was all about. In short, soul food. This does not go light on the flavors, and it shouldn't. This fills a hole in vegan cuisine in raleigh, and it fills it well.
Read moreWe ordered their bbq nachos which had the best vegan bbq I've had to date, and it was enough food to feed two but we didn't stop there, we also ordered the bahn chi, which I found overall delicious. My only complaint was that the kimchi was piled on top in a way that I would get a mouthful of kimchi, then a mouthful of tofu with each alternating bite. A quick rearrangement of the sandwich would have fixed the problem. The bageutte it was on was the softest baguette I've ever had, I assume from neomande as all their other breads are. Lastly, the chicken sandwich was incredible of course.
We're thrilled to have this option opening up and will definitely be returning once it fully opens!
Pros: Fully vegan menu, Great flavors, Very quick service

Is it truly vegan, though? It's hard to tell because their web site describes them as "plant based", which can go either way.

Yes, I can confirm they are vegan. I went there (vegan myself) and they confirmed that; chef/owner said he is vegan, has been his entire life.
