I’m staying in Tenerife and found this cafe on the HC app.. after reading reviews here and on Google my partner and I literally walked 3 hours down the coast from several towns along just to visit and it was worth every bite.

Staying at Arenas del Mar, just down the road from El Médano, I was delighted to find not just vegan dishes available nearby, not just a 100% vegan restaurant nearby, but one of the best vegan restaurants I've ever been to, within walking distance.
Read moreI've been here multiple times during my stay and everything has been superb. Each day there's a different zumo del día (juice of the day) which is always spectacular, especially after a hot cycle ride / surf session / walk / day on the beach (delete as appropriate). Every dish I've tried has been fabulous. Particularly liked the "Poke, No" (see what they did there) and the Vegbab. They have a varying menu del día in addition to the regular menu which you can find online.
Oh, and they have fantastic, locally brewed beers which I was unable to find anywhere else on the island. And good WiFi.
I didn't eat anywhere else in El Médano but looking at menus elsewhere, El Med Veg is very competitively priced.
They're open every day until 22:00 so where still there for me even after a very late running bike ride.
So wish I had a place this good near my home.

Found it with HappyCow. Managed by Italians guys, this little restaurant it’s located near El Medano beach. We ordered as starters Chacho y Pepe, vegan version of the typical Italian pasta "Cacio & Pepe" made with Carrot spaghetti, cashew nut and black pepper sauce Bruce, que tal? -

I loved the fact I could eat everything on the menu. Normally with my dietary requirements I have to select whatever I’m able to eat. Here was a real treat. In the 10 days we were in El Medano we are here about 8/9 times. Food was extremely tasty, beautifully made and not at all expensive. They also do takeaway.

We shared the super nachos and the falafel for starters. The nachos were really amazing, the falafel just okay. Then I had the lasagna and my boyfriend a burger. So so good! For dessert we shared the cheesecake. We definitely would go there again to try all the other dishes.

Friendly fast service. Great price. 2 courses, 2 spk water was €33.

A small restaurant tucked away in the streets behind the bustling El Medano beach area. Very friendly staff, an incredible menu and a super talented chef. We had Mumma Mia salad, Lasaña de berenjena, Grandma's lentilballs and as the menu was so delicious we made space for desserts of Cheesfake and Loving Mani. We will be back!

During our visit of Medano we had a chance to visit El Med Veg. As a first thing I recommend you to make a reservation or do take away. The place is small and they are used to that people will just pick up the food. We were lucky and they one free table. When we were there we had there small kinder-garden. I am not 100% sure but I would say that was kids of the owners and there family. So we didn’t have much quiet and enjoyable moment. I am also not fan of this style where people are running into the kitchen and bringing something to kids, having keys, laptop etc on tables where nobody is sitting etc. I feel like I am disturbing the owners from work or whatever. But the food and deserts were really good and general feeling is good. Prices are touristic.
