Teniendo en cuenta que la gastronomía asturiana, por rica que sea, no cuenta apenas con opciones veganas o vegetarianas, es un alivio poder encontrar un local como este.

Fuimos a comer a mediodía y nos sentaron y sirvieron muy rápido sin reserva (apenas habia gente).
Read moreLas opción veganas estan bien marcadas y hay bastante variedad. Sin embargo no entiendo por qué en su insta pone 'go vegan ' cuando en su carta tienen opciones claramente no veganas.
Dejando eso de lado, la comida está buena y en gran cantidad. No creo que te quedes con hambre 😜
La terraza es preciosa, si tienes ocasión recomiendo ir ahi.

Llegamos aproximadamente a las 20:00 y después de esperar unos minutos nos dijeron que no íbamos a tener sitio en mesa, pues estaba lleno. Muchas personas solo estaban tomándose una cerveza pero ya nos aseguraban que era imposible que pudieran tener sitio para nosotros. Nos ofrecieron sentarnos en la barra a cenar o reservar para el día siguiente, y el señor que nos atendió nos preguntó si éramos vegetarianos y nos dijo "pues no vais a encontrar nada más en Oviedo" (cosa que no es verdad). Aún así decidimos sentarnos en la barra y pedir un par de platos: el cachopo concurso y las croquetas cabrales. Toda la comida estuvo muy buena y salió muy rápido de cocina, recomendamos ambos platos. Mientras comíamos se fueron quedando mesas libres pero no nos las ofrecieron, y empezaron a sentar gente que llegaba más tarde que nosotros.

Beside they forgot the bacon in the cachoppo and that I received my dessert befor finishing my dish, the food is tasty.

The menu with seitan is okay, too salty being honest. The sarter "saquitos de verduras " are really tasty.
The place is really chill but the waiter is messy.... Please chill, take your time and don't explain things if you don't know

Pedí el chorizo criollo y la pita mediterránea, estaban bien pero caros para lo escasos que eran (la pita tenía relleno solo por fuera). También probé el cachopo concurso y estaba rico. La terraza es agradable siempre que no haya nadie fumando al lado.

I always try to find a vegan version of regional specialties, so we each tried a different version of the cachopo, generous portions so we couldn’t manage a dessert, but we did have a bottle of local cider with our meal. Went there as a party of four. Two of us had the Cachopo which was delicious. The other two shared two starters and a pizza, which were also great, but really too much for one person, so consider the starters enough food for two people by themselves, or one person as a main, unless you have a massive appetite. Desserts look nice but we were stuffed!

Great portions and friendly service - Edit
We stopped here during a long bike ride and were able to carry our bikes through to the terrace. We ordered a mountain of food to match the mountain we’d just cycled up! It was all delicious and I don’t think anyone could believe we finished it! Everyone was lovely and it was great value too.

Lovely terrace, good food - Edit
I was happy to stumble upon this restaurant. The food is plentiful and tasty. I had a hamburger with chips and a doughnut, along with some fresh tea. All was delicious and wonderful. I loved being able to sit on a covered terrace in the rainy weather. Staff is friendly and kind and speaks English. The kitchen hours are a bit strange - when I visited, the kitchen didn’t open until 8 pm. Definitely worth a visit when in Oviedo. Prices are a bit higher than I expected - I’d give it two dollar signs instead of one. My food was around €25.
