Homemade food and nice atmosphere. - Edit
Very nice space and atmosphere. Friendly service. Ok value for money for the area if you have the daily menu. Very easy to eat vegan. On the critical side, the food was just plain average. Really, it wasn't remotely bad, but it wasn't particularly good at all either. At least it tasted really homemade.

Nothing special - Edit
I had lunch here on a Saturday. They offer a weekend special menu of the day for 15€. Only two choices for first and main course, luckily enough they were all vegan. Food was just OK, not bad but not remarkable at all. Servings were definitely scarce.

Nice atmosphere and nice food. - Edit
Only been once. The food was tasty although I feel it is something I could have prepared at home. Had some kind of lentil dish. Thought the portion size was a little small

Friendly, fresh, and tasty - Edit
My partner and I came here for dinner after an afternoon at the Prado. Friendly, helpful, excellent service and good food. We especially enjoyed the melon & basil soup we had as a starter. We shared two starters, one main, and three beers and left stuffed and happy.

Enjoyed the daily menu - Edit
We stopped in after a morning at the Prado to refuel before returning for more art. The menu of the day is written on a chalkboard in Spanish and English, and the vegan options are clearly marked. The menu comes with two courses, dessert, bread, and wine all for a reasonable price. The two first courses offered were a salad (with cheese) and a pureed vegetable soup, which was delicious. The second courses were both vegan-friendly. One was a grain bowl topped with eggplant, and the other was a pocket stuffed with veggies where the pocket was like a crepe made of chickpea flower. We preferred the chickpea crepe dish to the grain bowl. For dessert, we had orange biscotti with chocolate sauce. Delicious food! I would definitely go back.

I just visited and the food was REALLY good - I had a salad, fresh baked bread, a polenta/cheese/zucchini dish and some apple cake, as well as juice, for 15 Euros. It was all delicious. Highly recommended.

Great food, service and location - Edit
So glad I found this restaurant through the Happy Cow app. There is a menu in English and the kind waitress who was looking after me was incredibly helpful. Like that there is a set menu which has two options per course. I ordered the Autumn Salad which included beetroot and avocado. Nice starter portion. Then for main ordered Vegan Pancakes with spinach, broccoli and pumpkin. This is one of the best I have ever tasted. Such hearty food. Finally ordered Yoghurt with mango and plum - another amazing taste. All of this for 11 euros. What amazing food, value for money and good.

Really tasty home cooked food - Edit
Good quality ingredients and tasty recipes all in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Excellent price at 11 euros for 3 courses (lunchtime proportions). Today's menu was super tasty beetroot soup/salad, risotto/white bean stew, banana and chocolate cake/yogurt and bread and wine are included! You won't regret a visit.

Lovely lunch experience - Edit
We had an excellent lunch, there are two set meal options (entree, main, dessert/coffee) with a glass of wine included for 11 Euro each. The portions were the right size, the food well cooked tasty and imaginative. The staff were attentive and friendly. I would heartily recommend a visit.

El Fogon Verde - Edit
Really cool space, with nice staff! The food was really good. We have had the two different menus. It includes, besides salad or soup and the main dish, bread, water, wine and dessert or coffee. Everything was great and super tasty! We were full, and the price is reasonable. If I come back to Madrid I will definetly go to Fogon Verde again!

Good Food - Edit
Saw this place on happycow and thought to come by for a try. It's a pleasant place with good vibes. I like that they focus on seasonal fresh produce and that the menu changes. I had a couscous dish that tasted yummy and healthy.

Much to wish for - Edit
Quite nice interior, close to the Prado museum, and the staff were friendly, which are the only nice things to mention about this vegan friendly restaurant.
Read moreWhat it comes to the food, it was lacking in taste and the dishes had so few ingredients. The starter was a soup with spaghetti and some paprika flavor, without salt, without any flavors to speak of.
My seitan plate with couscous, which was the main course, was plain and the seitan bits (tasted gummy without any flavor). My friend got a mixed veg plate that was just cabbage and chickpeas.
Although they say they're completely vegan, they had dessert that wasn't vegan.
All in all it cost 15€ per person, and for that kind of money I cannot recommend this place.

So wonderful - Edit
The food was delicious and fresh and healthy. The menu changes each day and is posted outside in English and inside on a board in Spanish. it is a set 3 course meal and you get 2 choices for appetizer, mains and dessert. We really liked the garbanzo bean soup, the tofu with sweet potatato and ginger drink. Very good value as only 11 Euros including drinks. The staff are very helpful.
