Great falafel burger - Edit
The burger was great, the bread was the best part of it, very soft and fresh. I didn’t want fries so I asked for a pumpkin soup instead and it was very good as well. The passion fruit lemonade with ginger was delicious.

Best food in La Fortuna - Edit
Chante Verde was so good that we visited twice during our time in La Fortuna. I got the falafel wrap for lunch and a burger for dinner (both served with fries).

The restaurant is a bit out of the way from La Fortuna town centre - about 20-25 min walk, but it’s 100% worth the walk!

Good vegan options on the menu - Edit
We came here after a 4hrs drive from Nosara - pretty hungry. The vegan options are labelled for every section (appetizers, burgers, specials, sandwiches, bowls). We tried the Calypso burger with banana patty with oats and coconuts and it was delicious. The location is very nice and open and the staff was quick and very friendly.

Great place that we repeated because PAD THAI and we enjoyed everything. The restaurant is super comfy, boho chic style, and has craft beer and vegan cheese too. Also it is not expensive and very affordable. Great to come here and drink cocktails and craft beers.

This place is so good! Many creative vegan options. Homemade bread and soups. I never had a burger made of banana coconut and avocado. It was amazing. A definite must when visiting La Fortuna!

Great place between the La Salto Rope Swing and the La Fortuna Waterfall. They have some vegan options including burgers, pizza and a few Asian style dishes. We tried two burgers and they were delicious. Also their drinks taste great and are quite cheap!

Horrible customer service and attentiveness- we never got our food - Edit
We went with a large group and to seat us, they moved people away from the table they would give us. When we ordered, the drinks came very slow and after an hour waiting for out dinner, we never received even appetizers or drink refills. We left hungry before getting any food because the service was so slow and inattentive. They tried to tell us it's slow everywhere which isn't true because we've eaten at many other restaurants. Very disappointing..

Even though the restaurant doesn‘t offer vegan/vegetarian food exclusively I‘d love to give it five stars! The food was incredibly good, the place is beautiful and the staff is nice.

Many vegan/vegetarian options and the staff is helpful. We had casado with falafel (which is gluten-free), naan, spring rolls and tomato soup. Everything was delicious and we came back several times.

Lovely spot! Nice atmosphere, friendly owners/staff and diverse menu with a decent amount of vegan and vegetarian options. We ordered the squash soup and mushroom bowl - both were very tasty. This place is definitely worth a visit while in La Fortuna.
