A good option but food took a while - Edit
Edgy Veggy is a great all vegan option in the heart of Sofia right off of Vitosha boulevard. Reasonable prices and lots of tex-mex inspired dishes, multiple vegan cheeses, and some vegan desserts. The owner was extremely friendly and welcoming and wanted to make sure I had all I needed, but my food took a rather long time to arrive, around 25 minutes. I ordered the quesadilla (9.5 BGN/ €4.86/ $5.53) with vegan cheese, red bell peppers, spinach, and broccoli and it was pretty good but not the best, but I was happy to support this restaurant. Menu in English. If you are looking for a super vegan friendly place in the downtown of Sofia this is your place!

Glad that we find this café! - Edit
Fair prices for tasty food.
Read moreI have eaten burrito, burger and sandwiches (I was there 3 times).
They aren't expensive. All about 5 Euros.
You can take fries or salad as an addon for about 1,50 Euro.
You get a bottle table water for free.
But you should taste the iced coffee with nut milk. It's awesome.
After it, we taste one orange cake. Fantastic!
Toilets are very clean and I liked it, too.
Unfortunately Sofia is far from Hamburg (Germany), but I will visit them again!
Pros: Everything is vegan, Menu cards in bulgarian and english, Not expensive!
Cons: You couldn't eat everything! ;)

Stuffed - Edit
We were stuffed after our meals, the portions were big. We had the burger and the seitan burrito, both with wedges. All were really tasty, especially the wedges, yum. Lovely clean cafe, with excellent friendly staff. Lots of cakes in the display too, but we were too full to try them! I can see why everyone raves about this place.

Cosy place with lovely staff and good food! - Edit
Nice little vegan place run by friendly and accommodating staff that clearly enjoy what they do. This was the first place we went for food in Sofia and we weren’t disappointed. The food was fresh, cooked in an open kitchen setting; The portions was generous, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Unpretentious, yet impressive vegetarian spot - Edit
We had dinner yesterday and tried so many tasty things from the menu. I'm super impressed by the "chicken" burger and the veggy "salami". I can't wait to take my 9 year old kid there too.

Amazing tempeh burrito - Edit
They serve burgers, french fries, salads, hummus, and burritos. We had the tempeh burrito with veggies and seeds and the veggy burger with homemade gluten-free bun, quinoa patty and veggies. The tempeh burrito was my favourite. My boyfriend loved the homemade mayonnaise. A very nice experience. The staff and owners are very warmhearted and hospitable. They also serve very delicious beer. We tried the ginger and the lemon beer.

Became much better - Edit
Update April 2019:
Read moreThe new location is way better. It will attract much more people, because it is very close to pedestrian zone. I had a burger which was very tasty, although the bun is home made I find it strange due to ingredients. It will be better with standard burger bun. The fried potatoes were amazing and the chili sauce was hot. The prices are high though. The plate on the photo is 6 EUR, which is exactly what I pay for a burger, fries and 250 ml bio drink like in Berlin Attila Hildmann shops. Guys - we are in Sofia and 6 EUR is serious amount to pay. At least, there shall be a beer or other drink with it (not water)
Update:
The place has improved. Fast service, nice food. Although, a little bit expensive for a place in Sofia. There is a burger that costs about 4 EUR. Seems we are Austria or Germany somehow.
When I saw this new place on Happy Cow I thought "Finally, Sofia will have a vegan junk food place". Not quite the case...
The location is a bad choice. It is at the same time at the heart of the city and away from the human traffic. Half of the menu was not available. They have been out of burger buns and tempeh waiting for delivery. A hot dog is on a photo on HappyCow and on their menu, but in fact they don't do it anymore. I didn't got the reason for this. I had a burger with quinoa and lentils between two slices of bread. The burger is good, but the idea to put it between bread slices, because you are out of buns is a poor one. Actually, you have to divide it into two sandwiches.
The prices are 4-6 BGN per sandwich. The place is very, very tiny. One "table" for 3 persons. We are talking about a maximum of 4 clients inside at the same time.
Maybe I will give them another chance, but I am not optimistic regarding this place. We will have them for some more months before they close the gates. The real vegan burger place is still to come in Sofia. It is amazing that in a small town like Petrich they do the best vegan burgers in Bulgaria (Urban Picnic).

We ordered catering service from Edgy Veggy for my birthday and we were very pleasantly surprised from the variety, taste and dish sizes. Our guests loved most especially the burrito and the sandwiches with mayo and pickles. Also the spring roles with spicy peanut sauce were an amazing combination. We recommend trying something with the vegan white cheese

Great food - Edit
My whole family is vegetarian or vegan and we all (all 7 of us) got lunch here when we arrived in Sofia. The cafe is small and only seats about 6, so we ordered it to go. The staff were fantastic, this was easily done and all the food was great!
