Expectations not fulfilled - Edit
After having read the other reviews my expectations were quite high. I agree that staff is very nice and helpful. The atmosphere is not really extraordinary, it is within a (nice) shop. I also liked the view, but you can only see the sea from a distance (there’s a photo of it). There aren’t many options for vegans. Most “vegan options” are vegetarian options that can be made vegan (by leaving non-vegan ingredients out). The vegan brownie was dry and didn’t seem to be fresh at all. They have almond milk. Smoothies are very good but also very expensive.

Nice views of the ocean and good smoothie - Edit
The cafe and shop has a nice atmosphere and great views from the seats at the back. The staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke perfect English. The smoothie was delicious but the food we had was a bit bland (vegan burrito). The pistachio ice cream (vegan) was very good though. Worth a visit but would be good if they had more vegan options and better food.

Lovely breakfast 😍 - Edit
Earth shop and cafe were amazing, vegan options were labelled, though they were a little limited. The staff were lovely and friendly, they took great care making sure that everything was vegan. Plus the view was the bees knees. Strongly recommend the smoothie bowl, and the croissant 😍

Perfect stop on the road - Edit
We drove in to Earth Shop and Cafe on our way to Lagos - and ended up staying for a couple of hours, having an early lunch and chilling. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They speak perfect English and give good recommendations on what can be veganised on the menu (almost everything!). We’ve had a mashroom toast with side salad - it was fresh, tasty and well seasoned. The shop offers a nice selection of local produce including vegan and gluten-free options. Spacious, modern interior with an artisanal touch. Beautiful seaside view. Definitely worth popping by!
Read morePros: Good selection of veganisable options , Accepts credit cards, Suitable for larger groups
Cons: Crepes can’t be made vegan, The default menu has only one vegan option.

Incredible food and service - Edit
The best vegan food I found in Portugal! Highly recommend. If I could give it 5 stars I would but the app won’t let me since they have non vegan options.

Healthy Veg Food, Lovely View of the Ocean - Edit
Upmarket health food cafe on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. Great coffee! Lovely view overlooking gardens and a view of the ocean. Quiche was lovely, sandwiches a little small in portion size. A bit pricey by Portuguese standards, but of high quality. Have plenty of veg and vegan options and friendly staff.
