Nice food - Edit
Honestly had no idea there were gonna be [censored] and sex toys on the wall which was awkward when my Korean friends all arrived and I didn’t know half of them, but food was decent!

Tasty and relaxing - Edit
I definitely recommend checking this place out! The food was tasty and unique! I got the vegan fish and chips which was very good. They have various drink options as well. The staff was very kind, and it was great to be in such a welcoming space. It is worth noting that the restaurant is small so the seating is limited, and it was definitely a bit expensive for me.

Best Vegan Food Ever! - Edit
This adorable little spot is located in the Itaewon neighborhood of Seoul. The restaurant itself is very small, but extremely cozy. I definitely wouldn’t suggest bringing more than 3, maaaaaybe 4 people at most to eat at one time. The atmosphere is very relaxed and it feels almost like you’re eating a home cooked meal at home. Moving onto the food! After being vegan for almost 5 years, I have to say this is the BEST vegan restaurant I’ve ever been to ANYWHERE. My non-vegan friend and I went here on a Thursday evening and it was fairly quiet, there was only one other table filled. We tried the vegan lasagna and the vegan fried prawns, but just FYI everything on the menu is vegan. The lasagna was literally the best I’ve ever tasted, including my own homemade version, and my friend was surprised at how she could not taste any difference in the prawns from the real thing. The portions are large so the price for each dish (to us) was worth it. We also had their version of lychee & lemon soju and if I hadn’t loved the food so much, I would go back simply for this drink. My friend and I were definitely amused by the sex toys around the restaurant as it gave a kind of quirky feel to the otherwise homey vibe of the place. Overall, Drunken Vegan is a MUST TRY if you’re in Seoul, whether you’re vegan/vegetarian or not. I’m already thinking about what to try on my next visit!

Wonderful place! - Edit
I really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! There's only a small selection of food and drinks but that makes sense as it's a small place as well. I've been here before and I'll definitely come again 😊

Tasty and fun 😏😏😏 - Edit
Unfortunately not in the market for any toys atm, but im sure i will go back to kill two birds with one stone. There wasnt a table available, so they let me do take away! (They have their own takeaway packaging now) The fried cauliflower is phenomenal, there is SO MUCH and i love the cole slaw that came with it. The lasagna is good. I just have a bit of a texture problem with the top layer of vegan cheese. It can just be a lot when you have a bit bite of a lot. V glad they serve it with greens and balsamic!

Some of the best vegan food we’ve had. - Edit
The best fried cauliflower and vegan lasagna we’ve ever had. Service was great. To go was an option if desired. Even my young children ate every bite and asked for more.

Couldn’t try the food but.. - Edit
I went here because it was the closest vegan place near my hostel. It was late evening and I was really hungry. I went inside and I saw there were only a few tables and they were all full. I asked if I could do take away then, but they said they didn’t have anything to put the food in. Sadly even if I was only one person I didn’t manage to eat anything so I had to leave.

Delicious garlic prawns! - Edit
We were happy to discover this wee place in Seoul as originally thought we might struggle to find some vegan options. We just came for a glass of wine and a snack - we had the garlic prawns and they were absolutely delicious! We had never tried a vegan prawn before. The decor is really cool and it has a chilled atmosphere. We would definitely come back, however probably just for a snack again as think a full dinner for two here could be quite expensive.

Fun experience - Edit
Note: opening hours vary so check their Instagram for announcements. It was closed one day when we went! A few days later we went back and tried two dishes - the shrimp dish was our favorite. Pork was OK. The food here is quite pricy (17-18k per dish) and can take a while to prepare, but it’s a fun way to try Korean classics!

Delicious lasagne - Edit
I was on a business trip and knew my meals would all be local food so I was craving something more western, the lasagne did not disappoint! It was so good I prefer it to any version - including non-veg - that I’ve previously eaten. I’d love the recipe!

Cauliflower was awesome - Edit
good vibe, friendly. had some dildoes for sale on one wall, which made us laugh. My non-veg friend that came didn’t like his vegetable dish much, but we both really liked the taste of the crunchy cauliflower I got.

Fun and yum indulgences - Edit
This is a small (3~4 tables!) location offering alcoholic beverages along a handful of veganized dishes.
Read moreThe food is a bit expensive but I enjoyed the taste of what I had so far!
Especially the Tofu Lasagna (gluten-free!!) with their vegan, home made parmesan cheese is amazing! Juicy and flavorful! It's hard to believe that there is no dairy in there!
Portions are large if you order one per person, perhaps because they are intended as anju (안주) - food to share while enjoying drinks in company.
Note that food takes some time to be served, because there's only one person cooking and it's prepared fresh after ordering.
By the way, beside food and drinks, you can find sex toys on sale, which are basically covering one entire wall. Overall, the atmosphere is playful, fun and colorful - it's Hongdae, after all! ;)

Awesome vegan food - Edit
I got the vegan lasagna and was not disappointed! It was so flavorful and reminded me of real lasagna! The cheeses they used were great and complemented the sauce perfectly. It’s a little ways off the main road and up a hill. The restaurant is a little small, and the vibrators on the wall were a little weird, haha. All things considered, I would go back again!

Very disappointed - Edit
Was initially incredibly excited to see a vegan restaurant in Korea as there aren’t many options for vegans! However, the main waitress was incredibly rude and unprofessional making it a really unpleasant and uncomfortable experience. The food was incredibly pricey for the value. Food isn’t terrible but could have been a lot better. Overall pretty disappointed that this puts a bad link to veganism, a movement and lifestyle that has so much potential.

Hearty, delicious food - Edit
Both the fried cauliflower and the vegan samgyeopsal was delicious! The fried cauliflower had such a nice, crispy batter and tasty sauce. The samgyeopsal was very realistic with both a meat and a fat part. At first it surprised me a little bit but the texture was nice and the taste was good. We got complimentary cold herbal tea and ginger cake with our meal as well. The owners were nice and spoke English.

Really nice food but not cheap - Edit
Food is made to share here and our fried cauliflower plate was tasty and even the meat-eaters were impressed! Plates were from 17,000 to 20,000krw, and we asked for extra rice since we were hungry, but had to spend extra 3000 for that bowl. Either way nice experience! Ps. Don't come here if you don't really feel comfortable with the open display of sex toys sold there!
