Awesome food

Beet ketchup? Incredible! Marshmallow latte? A disservice to yourself if you don’t try it! A bit of a wait, but it’s a pandemic - it won’t stop me from going back!

Pros: Fully vegan, Cute atmosphere, Super friendly staff

Amazing brunch

I went for Sunday brunch. Great food, delicious coffee and friendly service. The tofu benny was fabulous, the best benny I have had and my friend loved her cauli and waffles. I can't wait to go back.

Pros: All vegan comfort brunch

Great food

Their French dip with the Caesar salad is one of my favourite meals. I love this place! It is expensive and depending on the menu you want you have to time it right. I wish they served their lunch menu on the weekend!

Unfortunate

This place seems great on the surface: entirely vegan menu and friendly staff. The issue for us was twofold: first, they didn’t have 75% of the items on the menu. Second, the food was okay… but not excellent. I had the meal of the day, a zucchini galette, and it was pretty bland and the crust was undercooked. My spouse had the cauliflower bites, they tasted so much like cinnamon! And also I found them way too salty.
I hope the owner of this place can figure out these issues because there is a lot of potential!

Could use improvement

Was excited to eat here, but their page wasn't clear enough that the whole "lunch" part of the menu is unavailable after 4. So with most of the options gone, we settled for the italian pizza. It was good but not what I planned to order. Also anticipated the cocktails, as they all sounded amazing on the menu, but I was told none of those were available. It's unprofessional to keep things on your menu/site that you don't actually have. I'll come again at some point, but for lunch instead, & hopefully they'll have updated the drink situation

Pros: Calm & beautiful interior , Friendly workers, Quality/healthy food

Cons: Expensive, Menus weren't accurate/updated :(, A lot less options after 4pm

May need to give something else a try

Service was great! Price a little high but understandable. I'm fairly new to being vegetarian with a hope of one day becoming vegan but given how picky I am, it will be a long road to get there. Not a fan of the meat substitutes I've tried to this point (although haven't tried too many). I went out of my comfort zone to try "seiten" for the first time at this restaurant. I got the French dip. I was REALLY hopeful I would like it and want to come back for it. I was disappointed. Again, I'm new to this stuff and I'm picky. The au jus turned me off completely, by smell and taste. Perhaps it was mushroom? Which I don't like. The more I ate the sandwich, the more I did not like it. I took off at least half of the seiten to try and get through it. I threw out the second half of the sandwich. I feel like more could be done with this sandwich. The spicy mayo wasn't too bad. I would have preferred more. Also, minimal onions. IMO it would be better if they were fried. Also, I thought French dip typically had cheese on it? I've yet to try vegan cheese, so I'm glad this sandwich didn't come with it. The fries were good. They also make their own ketchup which I thought was interesting. I ended up using Heinz instead. It seems most of the reviews for this place are quite good, so either I'm just too picky/weird tastebuds or vegans have been accustomed to food like this. Good for them though, I hope to get there one day too!

Pros: Friendly staff

Cons: Taste of the food I ordered

They make their own ketchup and you still used Heinz? It’s 100% your taste buds. Never eaten here either but this was just a weird review.

Pros: All vegan and clearly made with love.

Cons: Pricey, but worth it!

Delicious food and delightful environment

I love the comfort style of food they carry and that it is usually a healthier version of that. They serve liquor which is not that common in all vegan places where I live and I appreciate that. The mixed drinks are really well balanced and the juices are tasty. I also really like that the menu is small but changes often, a lot easier to pick something.

Pros: Simple menu, friendly staff, Delicious meals

Cons: I live far away, I am considering moving closer

Yummy place for brunch

Tasty food, healthy and more indulgent options, friendly staff, and even a brunch menu. A great option in the Langley / Surrey area.

Pros: Easy to access off the highway.

Nice Place

Relaxing music. Nicely decorated. Fresh cut tulips on every table. Very friendly staff. Great food. Had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Don’t like Daiya but this cheese was really good. Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Great food and gorgeous plants

All the food and drinks at Down 2 Earth are really good. The turmeric latte is especially delicious on a cold day. They also have a good selection of baked goods for dessert from local bakers like Dipped Doughnuts and To Die For. The cafe itself is very aesthetically pleasing, with lots of beautiful plants.

Delicious Vegan Cafe

Lots of yummy options! I've had the BLAT, double chocolate marshmallow cookie, Mac Daddy and I've tried a few of the drinks. Everything was delicious. They have dairy-free milk alternatives and also sell caffeine-free drinks like kombucha.

Pros: Lots of options, Choice of dairy-free milk alternatives, Good atmosphere

Cons: Limited seating

Stunning & Yummy

Beautiful setting with attention to detail - even the cutlery and glasses with perfectly chosen. We had the BELT and the Mac Daddy with the two different lattes (beet and matcha). The food was delicious!

Pros: Setting. Setting. Setting. It’s beautiful. , Food was well made and full of tasty goodness , Despite the small size - decent amount of options

Cons: Busy (which, good for them!), Unaware of the table sign for food - now we know!

Delicious Vegan Fare in Langley

I've tried just about every entree they have, and have loved all of it. My non-vegan friends have tried the burger and I have heard nothing but positive comments. I'm also glad they have vegan desserts! This is my fave vegan place to eat so far.

Pros: Good food, Friendly staff, Modern restaurant set-up with a welcoming ambience

Cons: Probably just needs to add more to their menu, Needs to have menu posted online

👌👌🤤🤤🤤

Small menu but the two things I had were delicious!
Vege Meatball sub was one of the best I’ve had, just a little small for $14, if it come with a side of some sort maybe or even a bit bigger then I couldn’t fault them.

Pros: Food taste 5/5, Nice staff, All vegan

Cons: Price vs size of meal
