Delicious 💕 - Edit
Dottie’s makes me wish I lived in Philly just so I could order there every day. I’ve only been here once and had the cinnamon bun & glazed doughnut holes, and they were absolutely amazing, which leads me to believe their other options are equally as yummy. The staff are kind & the feel of the spot is comfortable and clean.

Donuts! - Edit
Go early, they sell out quick and you’ll be left with less choices. Love a fried donut

Creative flavors - Edit
We got a matcha cream-filled donut topped with pistachios and an apple fritter. Both tasted good but the apple fritter had barely any apple pieces in it (literally 2). Good donuts but not the best I've had and more expensive than what I've paid for elsewhere.

Almost great - Edit
I really, really wanted to love Dottie's. I have limited access to vegan donuts (I only eat them if I make them myself), so I'm always visiting vegan donut places when I'm on vacation. We went to the western location a couple of hours before close. The donuts tasted a little stale. I was disappointed, but I assumed this was because it was almost time to close. I went back to the second location the next morning. I got a chocolate glaze with crushed pistachio. It was much better that morning, but it still did not reach the lofty heights of Donut Friend. Good donuts, but not the best I've ever had.

BEST vegan donuts and don’t want to eat a donut from elsewhere! I love the fun flavors they have on different days and their filled donuts are the best in my opinion. Their apple fritter is a must for every visit.

They are so good!! Best apple fritter I’ve had—vegan or non-vegan. I wish they had a million more locations.

Good Doughnuts - Edit
We decided to give this place a shot, as we enjoy trying vegan doughnuts when we travel. We tried the doughnut holes, apple fritters, salted caramel, green tea and pistachio; green tea matcha powder (?); chocolate glaze; blueberry muffin; and Boston cream. They offer an 8% discount for half a dozen, and a 10% discount to a full dozen. They are similarly priced to other vegan doughnut shops we have frequented: $2.00-$3.75 depending upon the complexity of the doughnut. I also discovered that they donate their unsold doughnuts at the end of the day to a local non-profit that gives vegan food to the low income/homeless. I thought that was a nice touch.

Finally in South Philly! - Edit
You can get a variety of these donuts daily at a few wholesalers across the city. I waited a long time for them to open their storefront in South Philly, way closer to me than West Philly, and finally try their filled donuts (Boston Cream FTW!!). The space is small and cute, fulfills its purpose, and the staff here are very friendly. Location off of South Street is nice.

Picked up a half dozen on the way out of the city and ate them all week long! Each one more delicious than the last and froze/reheated surprisingly well!

the best vegan donuts - Edit
Yeast risen donuts done to perfection! Fluffy, not greasy, and as large as your face. Go for the Boston cream and the pretzel caramel. And the ambiance is great as well.

Simply yum - Edit
Brooklyn sandwich shop vibe. Very clean and the staff was very kind. The donuts are unbelievable and you get a half dozen in a pizza box which I thought was cute. Beware of South Philly parking so come early.
