So pleased we found Doppleganger during a visit to Cambridge. Incredibly welcoming and the food was fantastic. Ate far too much as we just couldn’t choose what to have 😂. Can’t wait to go back!

Maybe the best burger in Cambridge - Edit
I remember going to Doppleganger when it was just a pop up on someone’s balcony and I was blown away by it. Then I went again when it was a pop up in Cherry Hinton and I was blown away again. And I’m still blown away now.

Word of warning though if you’re ordering for takeaway definitely order directly as you’ll get it hot and fresh otherwise you might end up with a soggy bun. Still good but will take the edge off slightly.

Read moreI really enjoyed my pesto-smothered Primavera burger. My wife wasn't quite so impressed with Korean BBQ burger as she felt there wasn't enough of pulled jackfruit topping. We both enjoyed the fries!
Definitely worth a visit but maybe a bit expensive at around £40 for two including drinks & service given the portion sizes aren't massive.

the staff were so welcoming and polite, the chefs cooked with absolute speed (i love the open kitchen !!) and made everything to perfection, and the set up was so cute but not too much!

We were just visiting Cambridge for the night and fancied a treat. Looked up on Happy Cow and as soon as I saw the menu I knew we had to go there. We'll, the menu might have sounded great, but we were actually blown away by the food. We have been vegan about 3 years, but these burgers would have satisfied even the most rigid carnivore! And the fries... Out of this world! Love that it's independent, obviously more expensive than mcds or other fast food chains, but in terms of quality and taste, it's another league. I think I can genuinely say one of my all time favourite meals. I just wish I lived closer!

The manager was awesome too. Had a great chat with him and he even made us coffees which technically aren't on the menu. Trying to fit in another visit to Cambridge just to go back here!

A most excellent and tasty burger, available as bunless or with bun. Everything is home made on the premises and air fried, not deep fried. Some interesting drink options and dressed fries as well as moreish milkshakes (best shared as they are massive) :)

Portions are absolutely huge so we shared a loaded fries and a burger. We still couldn’t finish the meal! Loaded fries are to die for. They have a large amount of options but no real “plain” burgers, but you can customise them. For example: portobello and pesto, Mexican style, Korean style with kimchi etc. Jackfruit loaded fries are just great.
