Amazing vegan donuts!

We have bomb vegan donuts back home in NY so the bar is set high for us. This place met our high standards for what a donut should be! Well done Doe Donuts! Guy serving us was super friendly too👍🏻

Portlands Premier Donut Shop

Doe Donuts is known for their vegan donuts but they also have delicious ice cream sandwiches. Something I love about Doe is that they are continuously reinventing their menu and offerings which means you will never be bored. Most days you will find a savory option as well. I have been going to Doe for awhile now and they never disappoint.

Pros: Inventive donuts, Soft serve

Best donuts ever

In a town that's been called "city of donuts", Doe reigns supreme. The fact that they're vegan, and my daughter can enjoy them as well, makes them magical. These aren't your run of the mill donuts, nor are they trendy like Voodoo, they are both creative and delicious at the same time.

Pros: Create and fun recipes, The best tasting donuts, They also make their own ice cream.

Cons: Location is a bit hard to get to., coffee is not fantastic

Donut Heaven

Can’t say enough good things about Doe! I love their seasonal menus, and the standards are delicious. A little spendy, but these are artisan doughnuts. Loved the sour peach(summer menu), and the blackberry chili (fall). Their strawberry Doe doughnut is classic.

Pros: All vegan menu, Delicious baked goods

Cons: Expensive

The best vegan donuts in the world

According to my records, I have been to doe donuts 112 times since they opened in this location. I’ve tried a lot of vegan donuts around the world but does are on another level. They split their donut menu into two menus: one seasonal and one regular. The seasonals usually include one savory donut, one twist, one old fashioned, and at least one „weird“ one. The savories are only good heated up in my experience. Their old fashioned donuts are always my favorite. Of the regular flavors, the Portland Fog donut is god-tier. They also have ice cream with interesting flavors and very sweet ice cream sandwiches- only the ice cream is GF. All vegan. Tips: there‘s no indoor seating but a good amount of outdoor seating that is uncovered and un-heated. The line can get really long- 30 minutes or more on the weekends, even longer on good weather days. The earlier you get there, usually less line. I recommend taking your donut on a walk to the nearby Grant Park. Extra pro tip: the donuts are by one get one free the last half hour they are open!

Pros: All vegan, Delicious noms, New flavors

Cons: Often a queue, No heated or covered seating , Sugar crash after you eat all this

My favorite Vegan place in Portland!

My partner and I make specific trips to Doe's whenever we can. This all Vegan Donut spot is incredible. The flavor and choices are beyond amazing and every time you go you can try something different! My personal favorite is the lavender cookie dough or their classic London fog. In the fall they have a pumpkin ice cream that I would buy pints of if I could! Please check this incredible place out!

I also enjoyed strawberry milk and Thai iced tea (both vegan) at various times. Very cool to have options here you wouldn't normally have elsewhere!

Pros: Rotating Monthly specials, "can't tell it's vegan" goodness, Great drink/ Ice cream Choices

Cons: Some options are only available for a short time , No GF options

Monthly Vegan Doughnuts

My girlfriend and I have made the 2 hour drive multiple times to try the monthly flavors that Doe offers. A majority of the flavors always sound fantastic. The savory doughnuts always leave me dubious when I read them, but all of the ones I’ve tried have been pretty solid especially the pierogi. Unfortunately I feel some of the flavors sound better than they actually taste once I get them. I don’t get their ice cream or shakes often, but every time I have it’s exceeded expectations. An all vegan, women owned business that donates to rotating charities though is always worth supporting in my opinion. The staff are always amazingly friendly and this last time they even were willing to call us when the next batch of doughnuts we wanted were ready. If you want some unique doughnuts or ice cream I’d say give Doe a try.

Pros: Rotating flavors, Amazing staff, Great business practice

Cons: Some of the flavors don’t live up to expectation, Sell out of some flavors and don’t post it

Doenut love

They create vegan donut deliciousness with some regular and rotating flavors. It’s fun to see what’s in the case & try one of their new creations. Love to hear my non-vegans fam & friends rave

Not the best, but fair.

I was so excited to try this place, but was disappointed... taste was comparable to Walmart donut. The icing and stuff was delish, but just the donuts themselves tasted old.

Also DO NOT GET THE SPAGHETTI DONUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. Tasted like school cafeteria spaghetti shoved In a donut.

Maybe the ice cream is better??

Pros: Completely Vegan, Cute logo, Cute store

Cons: Expensive, No restrooms, Parking

Best Vegan Donuts I’ve had

I’m SO happy I came to Doe’s! The service was great, they had plenty of options and they tasted so good! I tried 4 different kinds and they were all yummy. Only thing is there was a wait but it’s totally worth it.

Pros: lots of options, best donuts, 100% vegan

Cons: there was a wait

easy 5 stars

ok, yes, the donuts are ridiculously good and the selection was broad. Whatever fluffy whipcream type frosting they pipe into the hole is absurdly good. Held up to over 90 temps and delicious.

The soft serve was soooo on point. I had a peach flavor, great texture and it truly tasted like fresh peach, not too crazy sweet just richly flavorful.

I wish I would have caught the name of the person who helped us, he was so friendly and informative.

It's a must if visiting portland.

Cons: Not sure if I noticed if there was outdoor seating

Tasty donut café

Rotating variety of donuts. If donuts aren't your thing try their coffee, tea, ice cream, or soft serve. Can be very busy so be prepared to queue up and sell out.

Pros: Delicious, All vegan, Outdoor seating

Cons: Can be very busy

Great if you have a big sweet tooth

I’ve been dreaming of the Portland fog since the first time I saw it on IG. The cream on it was great but the icing was way too sweet to the point where I couldn’t finish it. The rest of the donuts were just ok with the exception of the monthly special. The special was the bacon Mac and cheese. This was my first time having a savory donut and I Loved it. Definitely worth stopping in and trying some fancy flavors!

Pros: All vegan , Has ice cream!

Cons: Expensive , No gluten free donuts , Limited street parking

OBSESSED

BLOWN away by these all-vegan donuts. Earl grey and birthday cake were unreal. Amazing flavor, frosting, texture, everything. 10/10 recommend. Skip on the orange marmalade bar--not the best.

Love this place

Me & husband visited Portland a while ago and HAD to go to Doe donuts because of it being a full vegan bakery/ice cream shop. We were definitely not disappointed. The donuts are unlike any other vegan ones I’ve had. We miss these donuts a lot where we live because there truly isn’t any other like them on the east coast. At least not that I’ve found. 10/10

Pros: Best vegan donuts , Awesome customer service, Good hours

Exquisitely flavored donuts and a great business to support

I visited with a friend last March and was very impressed with their donut flavor offerings, their friendly staff and their commitment to donating to charity. I had the Portland Fog, Cookies and Cream and the Thai Tea. The combination and balance of flavors is spot on. Out of the many vegan donut shops I've tried in Portland, Seattle and San Francisco, this one has by far the best flavors and not greasy cakey like some are prone to being. Note: their online address is listed on Sandy Blvd but you can't see it from there. The entrance is actually across from 4100 NE Broadway.

Pros: Unique and well paired flavors, Rad Staff, Commitment to the community

Cons: Storefront is on Broadway and not Sandy Blvd.
