Cream buns~~ - Edit
Very cute cafe with clearly labelled vegan goods - we had the soy cream bun (which were amazing) and the pumpkin bread. Americanos with no milk are available as is a very creamy vegan peanut butter drink (definitely recommend). Overall atmosphere is very nice - imagine it would be lovely at night as well

Amazing sweets! - Edit
Definitely worth a stop! It’s down a tiny walkway. Walk in a get a table first, grab and sweets you want and bring them to the counter to pay and order a drink. They’ll give you a buzzer to take back to your seat. When it goes off you can go pick up your drink from the counter.
Read moreI ate one sweet there and grabbed a few to go. The vegan special drink was peanutbuttery and delicious. Everything was definitely very very sugary sweet but tasted great, a bit of a sugar high. Everyone was really kind too!
Pros: Many vegan sweets, Clearly labeled vegan, Kind people

really good food in a really nice place - Edit
The cafe opens at 12 (sunday) so i went there for a late breakfast. I arrived around 12:30 and there was already so many people, there is only a small sign so it might be hard to find.
Read moreI ordered two different types of bread:
coconut cream filled bun: the coconut cream was really good and the coconut taste was not too strong, it was really soft and fresh.
And the cinnamon bread: the cinnamon taste was really strong and delicious and the brioche was airy.
For the drink I took the vegan signature peanut latte (iced only), it had a peanut non dairy milk mousse and it was delicious.
Overall I found the food really delicious and the prices okay. It can be crowded so you may want to arrive early.
The staff speak english.
Pros: Good variety of vegan options, Nice environment, Prices are okay
Cons: Small sign/hard to find, Can be a little crowded

3.5 stars for unkind staff- - Edit
the outside seating here is soooo nice and there are many vegan options that are clearly labeled. both of the things we had were really good.
Read morehowever, when i went here they didn’t even have soy milk for drinks. was very annoying to me as there are vegan desserts there … didn’t quite make sense to me.
edit like 2 years later :
now there is a vegan drink on the menu which is pretty good. you can also add oatly for an up charge.
i got a lot of other baked goods and they were all great. the best was the coconut cream bun and the cinnamon roll.
my biggest complaint here is the staff. both times i went and although i speak korean they have been unkind and like deer in the headlights when asked questions about the drinks menu. there are like so many different kinds of coffee on it and they don’t explain well what the differences are and get kind of mad if you take long to decide. i was disappointed with the decaf coffee i got that didn’t really taste of coffee at all. i wish they would have explained. they also just put all the baked good on the plates still in the packaging although we were eating there. not really pretty.
it’s a nice place to take good pictures but not a friendly atmosphere.

Get the cinnamon rolls!! - Edit
A little tucked away in an alley so easy to miss. There's a sign on the wall.
Read moreThe cinnamon rolls are so good!!! I bought two of them and I wish I bought more. The vegan cookies were so-so. A little dry. The other desserts had nuts so I couldn't eat them. The bread rolls were pretty good!! It's also a pretty place to spend an hour.
Pros: Clearly marked vegan options , LOTS of vegan options , Delicious

Chic veggie-friendly cafe - Edit
This cafe offers various sweet bakery products which are precisely labeled as ovo-lacto-vegetarian or vegan. Among those, about 25% are vegan. When we visited, there were vegan cookies, two types of vegan cinnamon buns, vegan scones and a few sweet bread rolls.
Read moreIn general, the cafe is rather vegan-friendly and the taste of the veganized bakery products is okay. There may be no dairy-free alternative for the coffee drinks, but the coffee americanos themselves are pretty good! My personal highlight was the chocolate cinnamon roll, along with the coffee americano "Danmi"!
The cafe, which is located close to a large apartment complex, is very spacious and offers a variety of seating areas - indoors as well as outdoors.
Pros: good coffee

Adorable Cafe In Seomyeon - Edit
I enjoyed my morning stop at Doco. There is a vegan Korean restaurant nearby that was closed, so I came here instead. It was a happy accident, as I truly enjoyed the pastries and the coffee is great quality even without alternative milk options. If you want something different from the usual Americano, I recommend adding cinnamon for a little boost. Highly recommend as a breakfast or snack stop.
Read morePros: Vegan pastries , Outdoor and balcony seating , Good for groups or couples
Cons: No alternative milk options , Bakery options only - no dishes , V little parking it seems, take the bus or subway

Charming Cafe - Edit
A charming café with lovely outdoor seating. Don't come for the drinks or food though. They have no alternative milk options and the desserts are slim pickings and not exceptional. We had a cinnamon roll and a chocolate roll both of which were decent, but a bit old tasting.

Great coffee and pastry - Edit
Possibly one of the best coffee shops in Busan in terms of coffee quality. The vegan pastry is labelled and induvidually wrapped for take away, but will be served on a plate for in house. Attention, most pastry is only available from noon, not at breakfast time. They only had some biscuits and scones around 10am.

Vegan pastries in Busan! - Edit
Doco is a specialty coffee shop offering a wide range of vegan pastries, such as cream breads, cinnamon rolls, cookies... They also do good coffees. I particularly liked their cream breads (so yummy!). The place is also really nice and pleasant to take a break in this buzzling city. You won't regret your stop.

decent vegan cafe options, no non-dairy milk - Edit
it's a cute cafe, instagram worthy even. they had some vegan cake options, but no non dairy milk for the coffee. kinda odd considering they even had a little card on display describing what veganism is to Koreans (I forgot to get a picture of it) but there's no soy or almond milk. I suspect that, like other vegan friendly places that have popped up in Korea lately, the vegan thing is purely a health focused diet fad. I hope it sticks around though.

Cons: no non dairy milk, a little awkward to find
