Read moreDie Bedienung war super freundlich und hat uns gut beraten. Von Fleischsalat (der original, wie bei Oma früher schmeckt) über Würstchen und Steaks gibt es dort alles! Und das in Bio-Qualität und nur veganen Zutaten. Das meiste ist auf Basis von Seitan, aber unglaublich gut gemacht, so dass man seine Vorurteile über Seitan definitiv streichen muss.
Wenn man auf der Suche nach einem 1:1 Ersatz für bestimmte Fleischprodukte ist, ist man dort richtig, aber auch, wenn man Lust hat auf würzige, gesunde Beilagen. Die Würstchen schmecken sehr gut, und es lohnt sich die Sorten durchzuprobieren. Die Salate (Olivensalat, Kartoffelsalat, Fleischsalat) sind sehr zu empfehlen. Der Bacon und die Steaks sind schon täuschend echt. Wer das nicht so mag, sollte sich davon fernhalten, denn das weiche, "blutige" Rote-Beete-Steak in der Pfanne hat dann aufgrund der Assoziation doch schon etwas angewidert... Aber lecker war es.
Und die Leber- und Teevurst ist der Renner! Die Gäste waren begeistert! Wir kommen unbedingt regelmäßig wieder.
Also, 1000/10 Punkten für die Vetzgerei!

Cool concept, nice staff - Edit
If you miss deli=meat style shops then this is the place for you! Everything is home made and the staff are nice and explain everything. They also have lunch and dinner options. The salads and seitan are really nice. As vegan butchers go, this is a great one, They have dry-goods for sale too.

Best gyros wrap!! - Edit
Lovely people and amazing food! We had a two person platter with many sorts of "meat" and kartoffel salad and two gyros wraps, we loved everything! The wraps especialy tasted soooo good. And it was very cheap as well :)

Delicious vegan German foods - Edit
It’s exciting to get try German foods like different kinds of wurst and potato salad. It was very delicious. Most of the foods are meat imitation dishes. The sausage salad I tried was so delicious (sooo lecker).
Read moreWarm meals are served until 15:30, after that you can only get dishes served cold. There are also some grocery items for sale like vegan Bolognese sauce, meat pâtés (Leberwurst) and wine.
Edit- Unfortunately they no longer serve the hazelnut chocolate milkshake.

Wir waren hier für ein Mittagessen und haben uns für eine Platte mit Kartoffelsalat, Brot und zwei Knackern entschieden. Bei den Knackern fanden wir Chili-Paprika besonders gut. Der Kartoffelsalat war eine gute Portion und sehr sättigend.

Read moreWe come here very often because we love the sausages. They are good roasted but also just cold cut on bread. I can also recommend the potato salad, the bacon and especially the gyros. Friendly staff. If you ask they let you try the sausages - but they are all good. You can bring your own container and they have returnable containers to avoid waste.

Große Auswahl an Vurst und Salaten. Alles war super lecker, aber meiner Meinung nach nicht sehr "fleischig", was ich nicht als negativ sehe, weil ich zu realistische Ersatzprodukte nicht mag. Für jemanden, der quasi-echtes Fleisch erwartet, ist es wohl nichts, für alle anderen sehr empfehlenswert. Besonders lecker sind das Brot und der Milkshake.

i absolutely loved it! they are a vegan butcher and have such a great selection of faux-meat! We had their hot dog there with the classic sausage (you can pic amkng many different types!!!) it was tasty and the price was fine. we also took a seitan steak home, also incredible😄

Had an amazing breakfast and lunch at Die Vetzgerei, everything I tried was super delicious. A lot of meat-like options, but also salads and homemade bread. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff as well, will definitely come back whenever I'm in Berlin again.
