Awesome pizza - Edit
We made the trip up from Calgary to finally try this place and it was well worth it. We had the donair pizza and the Big Mack, the donair definitely was our favourite but both had great flavour.

Belly bustin’ - Edit
I am so full. We normally each get a pizza, share and bring home leftovers. Today I tried the bbq chickn tacos - delicious! Also had a root beer float- felt like a kid 💚 my fella got the Mack pizza- and my eyes were bigger than my stomach and I only managed to eat a small portion of the Animal fries. I think they should rebrand to ‘specialty pizza’ and get more non-vegans in the door.

Definitely missed them while they were away. New location is cool and the pizza is as good as ever. Black Garlic and Truffle continues to amaze me.

A hidden gem in Edmonton - Edit
After eating here once, Die Pie has already become one of my favourite restaurants in Edmonton! Their truffle mushroom melt burger is excellent. The flavour, texture, and appearance of the vegan beef burger patty are so realistic, and I think it's homemade (it didn't seem like the Beyond, Impossible, or Lightlife burgers I've had). They serve it in an insane vegan brioche bun, which is hard to come by! I also love that you can get a kale caesar salad on the side at no extra cost, for those days when a burger AND fries seems a bit too heavy. The table next to us got a couple of pizzas and they seemed amazing as well.
Read moreService was very quick and friendly. Prices are reasonable (19$ for their burgers, 18-22$ for their pizzas). They have a spacious dining room as well as a small outdoor seating area (shaded by the building in the afternoon) facing a quiet street and a park, and there's a free parking lot.
I loved my experience here and I'll definitely be back!

Great service. - Edit
The reason for three stars is our amazing and attentive service. Have to be honest, I wasn’t a big fan of the food and it was rather pricey for a vegan pizza place. I ate a Kale Caesar salad and to be truthful it was the best part. The pizza’s were badly cooked and expensive, the wings were over spiced and the texture was odd and the dessert- some sort of pie- was inedible. I wouldn’t recommend it for that reason.
Read morePros: A wonderful server. Thanks for your attention.
Cons: Not good pizza , Dessert was awful, Seitan is supposed to taste good

Excellent vegan pizza and more at Die Pie Edmonton - Edit
The food here is excellent, every time. I’ve been 3 times now since they reopened. The vegan pizzas by any standard are excellent and varied and reasonably priced. There are tons of vegan options from appetizers to desserts. You have to place your own orders up at the till but food is brought to your table. No big deal for us. There’s a rustic/modern open feel to this warehouse style restaurant.

Pros: Excellent variety-vegan appetizers, pizza, dessert, Reasonable pricing, Food is top notch every time
Cons: I prefer a warm cozy atmosphere. , You place your own orders at the till.

Excellent lavours - Edit
I ate at Die Pie when it first opened and the other day I stopped in their latest location on 105th Avenue.
Read moreThe past few times I have ordered the Buffalo Chickun because I like the flavours and I can get it with a gluten-free crust.
I sat in the north seating area which, I now realize is probably where people who come in to pick up orders normally sit but I wanted to keep an eye on my bicycle and trailer that was parked outside the window. But that actually worked out quite well for me because Neil (the owner) popped out to that area from the kitchen and we had a good catching-up chat.
Next time I go in, I will have to ask them not to put the paper on the plate or provide cutlery and napkins. I am trying to reduce the waste I create.

Lions mane penne is amazing - Edit
Die Pie keeps rebounding and are open again! Woohoo. They have great vegan pizza and their Kim chi bites are amazing. But, you must really try the lions mane penne. It’s honestly one of the best vegan items in the city. We never get to dessert but one day I will try the molten lava cake.

My ❤️ melts when I think about this place! Fantastic plant based pizza and more. - Edit
I’ve been to vegan pizzaria’s in every city I’ve travelled to, and I compare them all to this one. The buffalo chickun is a must try, and there are lots of options to keep you coming back for more. They make nut cheeses that you can take away, and have a great selection of salads, sandwiches and sides. Everyone who works there reminds you of why places like this matter. I can’t wait for my next visit.

Delicious Everything - Edit
Their food has really improved since they combined all 3 restaurants (Die Pie, La Peche and Seitans Disciples) in to one. I just had the Big Mac pizza, which is my favorite pizza on their menu by far. I also had the cheese balls, which are a classic must have and the spicy wings, which were good but a bit hard. I can't wait to come here again and try some more new things on the menu.

Best Pizza ever! - Edit
It was our first time going to die pie and what an amazing experience. I went with my husband and boys, my oldest is 12 and my younger one is 11. We ordered 2 pizzas, the chipotle bacon and the buffalo chicken pizza. I can not describe how good it was. It was the best pizza we ever had. The restaurant was clean and our waiter was amazing. I can't say enough about this restaurant.

My favourite pizza ever - Edit
I’ve worked in a pizzeria, I’ve eaten non-vegan pizza all my life, and die pie came around the time I went vegan and I never looked back. I am so happy Die Pie exists and will forever support them. This is the tastiest pizza, I don’t care if people say it’s “expensive” it’s worth it. I even had the best lasagna here too! My husband and I choose Die Pie for all of our special occasions like birthdays, anniversary and date night. I ADORE this place, definitely in my top 3 vegan restaurants to go to.

What a find - Edit
It is a narrow space on the main drag, Jasper Street, but what wonderful food. We had arrived late and starving and actually used Yelp and found they were still open so we ran over and before we were seated asked if they had any vegan options (oblivious to the signage ) and the manager stated proudly everything was made in house - the faux chicken, the cheeses, sauces, everything! Absolutely delicious!

The food here is amazing! We got the cheddar bites with chipotle and ranch dips, black garlic and truffle pizza, and Mac and cheese with Buffalo chicken.
Read moreThe Buffalo chicken Mac could have used a bit more flavour, but still so satisfying. The pizza would have held up as something special in any upscale pizzaria. I could have bought a bottle of those dips, they were so good!
They even sell vegan cheese to take home, and I have to say their cheese is pretty on point.
Pros: Totally plant based menu , Gluten friendly (need to ask) , Nut allergy friendly (need to ask)
Cons: A tad on the pricey side, Not the healthiest vegan food you can find

Date night regulars - Edit
We've gone here for a ton of date nights. The food is usually good. There are some specialty pizzas that come out that are a miss, but, for the most part, the food satisfies that pasta and pizza craving.
Read moreTheir soups and salads are really good as well. And their appetizers are so satisfying. The kimichi bites are our favorite.
I also got to say that I don't know where they get their sprouts from, but they are delicious.
Some of the items seem overpriced. We would go there more if the prices were a little lower.
Also, be aware that free parking is dwindling in the area. We parked in a spot that used to be free around the block and came out to find a $50 parking ticket. It made an expensive meal even more expensive.

i tried the pizza with only cheese and the chicken burger with a side kale salad. the pizza was awesome and the burger was just okay, I wasn’t a fan of the bun used as mine was a little burnt and had a weird taste and smell to it. overall i was satisfied with the food.
