Best vegan breakfast in Brisbane - Edit
Absolutely brilliant food. Try the Sticky “Duck” Toastie - amazing. The Mince and Beans on Turkish is definitely a regular go-to favourite. If you have room, the donuts are sensational!! Do yourself a favour, you won’t be disappointed! 10/10

Beautiful little cafe with lots of awesome looking menu items! I got the Mac and Cheese (made GF) special and it was 🔥🔥🔥. Oh so creamy and decadent, it hit that Mac and cheese craving perfectly 👌🏽. Would definitely return!!

Delicious options - Edit
We really enjoyed the mock duck build-your-own bao buns and mince cigar rolls -- both good value for money. Coffee and croissants are tasty also with many options (cakes and slices) for sweet tooths.

Safe & scrumptious space - Edit
Friendly staff, great & sufficiently diverse menu, along with delicious & consistent coffee & a range of yummy sweets in the cabinet. I even bought a cake for my mum's birthday a couple of months ago & everyone (80% omni group) enjoyed it too 😌
Read moreIt took my partner & I a while to come here cause we were worried the servings looked small for their price but after a recent brunch visit, I'm happy to say they were filling even for us & we're stoked to have this little gem so close to home.
Pros: All vegan food & drink, so feels safe & relaxing, Good variety of sweet & savoury menu items, Good serving sizes
Cons: Can be hard to get a table as it's so popular

Gettin’ sticky at Dicki’s - Edit
Nice vibe. Decent menu. Polite and attentive staff.
Read moreFood was very good but not amazing with the exception of the Arancini, which were excellent.
I had the Green “Eggs” on Turkish which was nice but a bit bland; a crack of salt and pepper quickly livened it up though.
My partner had the Sticky “Duck” Toastie which she said she liked but found a little too sweet.
We both had a latte which was also good, but I’ve had better.
Overall it was a nice breakfast and we’d maybe return to try some more of the menu if we are in the area, but we won’t be rushing back.

Delicious 👌🏼 - Edit
It took me ages to get around to trying Dicki’s, mostly because the parking in New Farm can be a challenge. But turns out it’s straight across the road from Coles, so you can always just use their underground carpark. Well located for a walk around New Farm Park or along the river afterwards too.
Read moreThis is a popular little spot, and for good reason. The food is awesome! Recommend the “build your own bao”, the “duck” is sooo good.
Pros: high quality food, great service, reasonably priced

Spot of breakfast - Edit
Stopped into Dicki's for breakfast and a walk along the Brisbane River. Great place. Lovely staff. And wonderful food. My partner had the burrito and I had the mince & beans. A little pricey but super tasty just the same. I forgot to take a photo because I was so hungry and the food looked so good!

So good I had to get takeout as well - Edit
Was very excited to try Dicki’s based on the reviews and a quick look at the menu online. They did not disappoint!
Read moreI had a lovely refreshing green juice, the green “egg” scrambled tofu and jalapeño cheese fries. I was so impressed that even though I was full, I ordered the arancini balls and mac’n’cheese to takeaway. Will definitely come back.

Deservedly popular - Edit
Very friendly, easy to talk to staff provide fast service in a chic little cafe. It seems small from the outside but there is ample seating to relax and chat. We had the eggplant parmigiana (which is a burger) and GF Waffles with coffee, smoothie and iced chocolate. We would have gone the chai tea but they only sell powdered chai which was the only minor downer for our visit.
Read moreThe waffles were filling and lovely (although non GF would be nicer but that’s GF for you). The coffee was really wonderful and the banana and peanut butter smoothie somehow managed to be not too heavy.
It was definitely cheaper than I was expecting too which is always a bonus.
10/10 chance of going back.

Cute and cozy cafe with comfy chairs and pillows. Ordered the Bruschetta special and half waffles which were caramel banana. Staff were friendly. Food was delicious. Also tried their apple crumble muffins and lemon yoghurt cake which were both delicious. Coffee was really nice and smooth too. Can't wait to go back

Ditch the Dairy - Edit
I’ve been here a couple of times now, the most recent being July 2020. I had the Green ‘Eggs’ (tofu scramble with pesto & spinach, topped with rocket, dukkah & chilli on a croissant). My husband had the Breakfast Burrito (spiced rice, scrambled tofu, black beans, kale, salsa, hash brown wrapped in a soft tortilla). Both dishes we would rate 4/5. I feel like the portions could have been bigger for the price.
Read moreI think the venue is a little cramped. The staff were friendly and the serving time was ok.
Disappointed they have dairy milk.
