Not a restaurant name - Edit
Market on South is not a restaurant. It is the name of a shared space that has several vendors. The restaurant name is Dixie Dharma and has a separate entry on happycow. Also there is a bakery called Valhalla Bakery. So I agree with KWdaddio's previous review that says it's confusing.

Delicious! - Edit
This place is amazing! I wanted to eat everything on the menu! I had the BBQ Pulled Jackfruit which was yummy, with a side of baked mac and cheese, which tasted a bit too much like soya for my liking. My boyfriend had the Orangebird sandwich that I think was the best, and a tasty healthy side of braised collards. My mum had the Florida Fried Green Tomato main and side of Cheesy Homies (potatoes) which were delicious! Even my meat loving dad said the Indian-spiced Chili was very good. The menu on http://www.dixiedharma.com/ is up to date.
Read moreThey have a wide selection of vegan beers and lots of delicious desserts (we had the marble cake). And a little market area selling cute stuff made by locals. I loved this place!
Pros: Amazing all vegan food, great drink and dessert selection, nice selection of products in the little market

Surpassed all of my expectations!!!! - Edit
Started off w/ an out of this world chocolatey, peanutbuttery bar from the bakery as an appetizer, then had a bbq sandwich w/ coleslaw and a side of baked macaroni & cheese. Took home a Brookie ( a bar that was literally a full sized brownie w/ a thick layer of chocolate chip cookie on top of it). Surpassed all of my expectations!!!!

Out of this world vegan food - Edit
This place is so beyond delicious, we went here 3 days in a row! If I lived near by, I'd probably eat here everyday! The OrangeBird and Cheesy Homes are insanely amazing! There aren't enough words to describe this place. And the people are super nice too! What you pay is worth the amount of food!

food was great and the bakery case was amazing - Edit
We stopped here during vacation and had a wonderful lunch. There's a risk though - the bakery case filled with huge unhealthy treats is impossible to turn down. :-) (Loved the death bar, brookie and glazed donuts!)

Loved it - Edit
This place is awesome. We happened to come on a weekend and availed ourselves of the brunch menu. The food had a Southern slant and was delicious. We also couldn't pass up the dessert. Oh my were they decadent! The vibe was cool and hipster, kind of Portlandia.

Couldn't have been better - Edit
All 3 of us loved it. Our grandson had 3 tiki tacos and wouldn't share, so they must have been good. I had the Bar-B-Q jackfruit sandwich with braised collard greens, and my hubbie had the Orangebird and tater salad. All were excellent and unbelievably vegan. There are NO vegan restaurants where we live, so this was a real treat. There's not much seating inside considering how busy they are, and there are 3 picnic tables out back which were full too. Would be great for takeaway due to the lack of seating. One can't leave a review on here without mentioning the vegan bakery. Oh. My. Goodness. Gracious. We had not had a doughnut since going vegan several years ago, and these folks know how to do it right. We bought a gift card for some other vegan family members. We're sure they'll love it too. Super nice wait staff too. This hole in the wall really is worth the stop.

needs more options - Edit
I'm so happy to have another all vegan place to go eat! That said, they only have like 4 options (sandwiches & tacos) and are a little expensive for what you get. My TLT was a little boring however my friend liked the BBQ jackfruit.

A-MAZ-ING - Edit
Visited with my husband and two small children. It is part of a "market" that has some art, vaping supplies and cookies. There is a case full of amazing baked tredats. We got sandwiches on some amazing Texas Toast bread. The cheesy potatoes are sooooo good. The place was clean and service was nice. We got almost one of each baked good to go. The only issue I had was there were cookies for sale that were labeled "not vegan" and I panicked that what we were eating was vegan. Apparently "everything behind the counter is vegan" but some vendors have non-vegan items. I wish it was all vegan to keep it simpler, nonetheless, when I am in Florida again, I will be back!

They have a nice selection of desserts. We got 3 to go. I highly recommend the s'mores bar. The staff was super friendly.

Vegan Goodness in Orlando! - Edit
On your next visit to Orlando, FL be sure to check out Dixie Dharma. Their vegan comfort food is, well, comforting and delicious! We shared the FL fried green tomato sandwich and the Orangebird BBQ sandwich. Sides included cheesy homies which were delicious cubed potatoes with homemade nacho cheese sauce with a kick of spice. We also shares crispy and yummy Brussels sprouts that were lightly caramelized.

AMAZING!!! - Edit
We decided to check out MOS to pick up some vegan pastries for NYE. But we couldn't stop in without trying one of their famous sandwiches. So, we decided to split the Pulled Carolina BBQ Jackfruit Sandwich, baked mac & cheese, and the cheese homies. The sandwich was delicious and everything else I thought it would be. The pickle and fried onions gave it a nice crunch and the jackfruit was tangy and sweet. PERFECT!! The mac & cheese was also delicious but the cheese homies were where it's at! They reminded me of patata bravas. There was a little bit of heat which worked well with the crispy potatoes and delicious vegan cheese sauce. We also grabbed a donut (cocoa pebble), chocolate tart, and a peanut butter caramel bar. SO good! However, we were a little disappointed there wasn't more of a seasonal or special selection of desserts since it was NYE. But they do special orders so next time I might call ahead and order something. In addition to the food being great, the service was equally wonderful. Everyone was super nice and welcoming.

the best - Edit
I'm a vegan touring musician so it's not often I have to time to seek out quality vegan cuisine. Had the chance to pop in to this place this afternoon and it was fantastic! I've been on the road for almost 5 weeks and this is hands down the best stop on the trip this far. Highly recommend checking it out whether you are vegan or not. Great menu, the best service, and very reasonably priced!
