Amazing, inviting, wonderful! - Edit
The first time I went there I was about 3 weeks vegan, and now I can't stop coming back! The seitan they make is outstanding, the burgers are phenomenal, and the service is very helpful. Every time I go, it's always a great way to spend time with family and friends while eating such amazing food. If you ever decide to go, try out there chili or soups, it's to DIE for.

All Good - Edit
I have never been disappointed ordering from Detroit Street Filling Station. They're all vegan, which I love, and they have a good number of gluten free options. Plus, the vibe is really chill.

We found this spot while driving through Ann Arbor. Event though we couldn’t go inside it looked really cute and curbside pickup was super easy! The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect too, with picnic tables down the street to have a nice outdoor lunch. I had THE WORLDS GREATEST wrap and my boyfriend had the POWER UP bowl.

Every part of my experience was beautiful while dining alone here for lunch. The staff were friendly and helped me choose from their interesting menu options. The food came out timely and delicious. The pricing was fair and I’ll definitely be back.

So good! - Edit
This may be the best all-vegan restaurant Ann Arbor has to offer. I have yet to try anything I don't like, but holy happy cow the buffalo cauliflower is sooo good. Soooo. Good.

More places like this! - Edit
An easy place to fall in love with immediately. The boogie-woogie piano player, the staff, and the overall atmosphere was so inviting. I realized later (after reading more about the place) that the staff (not sure if that includes all or some of the staff) are in recovery and celebrate and encourage one another’s sobriety. How cool is that?! Guests can still order alcohol if desired.
Read moreSo, I had the buffalo cauliflower wings, which I was grateful they offered as a half order, or I would’ve quite happily eaten a whole order by myself. Definitely award-winning cauliflower and dipping sauce. We also tried 2 pasta dishes. Penne cauliflower Alfredo and sweet potato noodles with a Japanese theme. They were both ok, though the sweet potato noodle dish was mostly noodles and sesame oil. Would choose different main courses if lucky enough to get back here!
Pros: All Vegan, Live music , Great atmosphere

Very good - Edit
I really like this place and love that they are community-oriented. In my opinion the food is always just the tiniest bit away from being perfect, but I always enjoy my meal. They often have live music, and their desserts are amazing. I prefer the food here to the food at their other location, the Lunch Room (although I love the Lunch Room too, especially the desserts). The General Tso's cauliflower is the best thing I've had here.

Great find! - Edit
We were traveling through Ann Harbor and decided to have lunch. Happy Cow surface the Filling Station and where very happy with the find. Tried their backyard burger which was one of the best vegan burgers I have had. My girlfriend had “chicken” style sandwich which was good as well. One of those places that gives back to the community which only adds to the draw of their food. Pair that outlook with a full vegan menu in which they are willing to share their recipes which only adds to the awesomeness of this place. Will be back again when in the area!

Will go again - Edit
Got the cauliflower fried rice, seitan ranch sandwich and the hot and sour soup. Cauliflower was unbelievably good, definitely add avocado and cheese to the sandwich, and soup was a little bland but still pleasant.

Amazing Eats - Edit
Every dish I’ve had has been wonderful, though my personal fave is the cranberry basil grilled cheese. Their tots are to die for, and anything from the bakery is totally awesome. The staff is usually friendly and fun, and I LOVE the outdoor seating area. Great location as well! Die hard fan of the Lunch Room and this place far exceeded my expectations- I love that they have a completely different menu.

Even The Omnivores Were Happy - Edit
Visiting family in Ann Arbor and were in for a treat. I had the Japchee (Korean sweet potato noodle stir fry), Others had "Back Yard "Bacon Cheese Burger", Jackfruit Carnitas Tacos, and Buffalo Cauliflower Wings. Everything was 100% vegan and everyone was happy with their order. I thought the cauliflower was a bit greasy, but I don't eat fried food.

Food for the whole fam! - Edit
We took our combined bachelor/bachelorette party here after canoeing on the Huron. We were the only two vegans of the group of 7, but everyone (Including a 9 year old) was very happy with their vegan exploration. We had the grilled veggie special, several jelly and grilled cheese sandwiches, Michigan salad, and jackfruit tacos as well as a carrot cake for the road. We love planting vegan seeds with our family members, and thankfully restaurants like DFS exist and make it possible for us to share the goodness with our nonvegan relatives.

Okay Chicken - Edit
I had the chicken strips here with the tator tots, and they were really delicious. Food is very good but I seitan chicken is dry and not very flavorful. The tator tots were also good, but feel slightly expensive for just being frozen tator tots. My friends had japchae and were disappointed!

The food wasn’t very good. Definitely won’t go back for Sunday brunch. It was expensive, and the staff couldn’t tell you much about the menu. This place was talked up by a lot of people, but it falls flat when you actually go for a meal.
