Didn’t try the savoury dishes, but their vegan cookies and cakes were very good. Loads of choices as well. 😊

Good range of vegan cookies - Edit
About a dozen vegan cookies available, plus a separate menu for vegan breakfast and light snacks (including pancakes and sandwiches). Many of the pastries that are listed in reviews years ago are no longer available (eg apple pie, cinnamon roll). Highly rate the cookies.

Tge best vegan croissant and good Apple pie - Edit
The whole wheat vegan croissant was the best I've ever eaten. The Apple pie was also very good but perhaps a tad too much cinnamon if I'm being picky.
Read moreThe hot coco with soy milk my partner didn't like, she found it too watery. The hot coco with coconut milk I liked. The soy milk one i thought was ok. She thought they were both too watery.
Pros: Excellent vegan croissant
Cons: Watery hot coco

Good bakery, tasty breakfast - Edit
They sell a lot of vegan baked goods and have delicious breakfast options. Unfortunately our is a bit pricey. The muesli with Soy Yoghurt and fresh fruits was very good and tasty, it could have had more muesli in it. The banana chips are awesome. The tofu sandwich was also ok, there was no sauce on the sandwich so it was a bit dry. It had a lot of tofu on it and many veggies on the side.

Good feed - Edit
I had the avocado tofu sandwich was was pretty nice, and came with some fresh veg. I added a hash brown which, whilst it was not a hash brown but rather some fried potatoes, was sooo good! They have a separate vegan menu for food which has some good breakfast foods. The real winner here was their bakery selection, which had so many vegan goods like cookies, carrot cake, croissants, cinnamon scrolls and a chocolate mousse. Price was decent.

Nice pastry - Edit
I was craving for pastry and was glad to find this place. They have several vegan options and I went for a cinnamon roll and soy yogurt. The roll was nice and not too sweet. It's not too much cinnamon either, which I liked. The yogurt was lovely. I even went back for a whole-wheat crossaint for breakfast. It tasted nice for me. I liked the texture of the whole-wheat flour, which was fluffy enough to bring you a flavour of a crossaint.

A bunch of bakery items that aren’t so fresh - Edit
I’m a sucker for baked goods so I kinda went (vegan) ham here - chocolate-dipped coconut macaroon, apple pie (I would avoid these first two, neither were nice), salted bread sticks, coconut cinnamon scroll, blueberry cake, whole-wheat croissant.
Read moreI could definitely tell that none of them were baked fresh that day (all of them had that “kinda stale” “kinda soggy” “not at ALL crispy” vibe) and would’ve been terrible eaten there and then. The only thing that was moist and delish “as-bought” was the bread sticks and blueberry cake which was kept in the fridge. The rest definitely need to be heated up, preferably by an oven, but a microwave will do for a slightly sad but guilty-pleasure meal.
Points for vegan baked goods tho.

Great for a sweet breakfast - Edit
The café/bakery offers hot drinks with plant based milk. The pancakes can be made vegan and are super tasty as are the wholegrain croissants. The granola bowl is quite decent, too. Rather limited choice if you're looking for a hearty vegan breakfast.

Great vegan breakfast options - Edit
At first, it might seem like Da's Home Bakery doesn't have many vegan options. But if you walk inside, you'll see they have a lot of vegan baked goods in addition to the menu items.
Read moreWe got the tofu avocado sandwich. They make their bread in house. And we tried a whole grain croissant because when do you ever see vegan croissants (the white croissant had butter.) It was simple but tasty.
And then we got a fruit and muesli bowl with soy milk. The bowl was filled with fruit! This was one of my favorite muesli bowls in town so far. They also have house-made soy yogurt but they were out when we visited.
Oh, and we asked and the pancakes can be made vegan.
Pros: reasonable prices for western food, many vegan baked goods
Cons: serves meat

Fantastic Cake Options - Edit
For vegan cakes, bakes and treats this place is amazing. It isn't as good as the nearby Blue Diamond (not the one nextdoor which is just a health shop) but it isn't far off it. All the vegan items are labelled and they have almost everything that you can think of.
Read moreConsidering they take so much into consideration with the baked goods, you'd think it would be similar with the menu. It isn't. There is nothing on the actual menu labelled menu, although some dishes such as oats with soy milk are kind of obvious.
Because of this, I have never actually tried any of the food options since there are so many fully vegan restaurants and cafes in the extremely close vicinity offering the similar (or better) breakfast and lunch dishes.
It is a very good spot, however, for those wanting a sweet treat.
Pros: Great vegan bakes, Cheap
Cons: Main menu options are poor
