The best nourishing food in Ubud! - Edit
Every single meal I’ve had here is deeply nourishing. There are a lot of nice cafes in Ubud with good food, but here, your body will feel deeply nourished on top of the delicious flavors. My favorite place by far 🫶🏽

I would give 0 stars if possible - Edit
If you're a vegan, I advise you not to go here.
Read moreI came here drawn to the interesting breakfast options that offer something new compared to Western breakfast. But I was so disappointed. I literally stepped out of the restaurant furious.
Why? Because they don't label their menu correctly! So as an ethical vegan, I ended up eating eggs without knowing it. This is absolute 🦀 and not acceptable.
I realized because the consistency of the Indo French Toast was "too good to be true" (I make french toast at home regularly and they never came out like this). When asked, they told us that there's egg in the food. Are you kidding me?
They use labels like "contains milk", "contains egg" etc. but apparently don't use them correctly. The french toast we ordered didn't have the label "contains eggs" which is just false information and even dangerous for people who really can't eat eggs.
Their excuses and reactions to our shock were not helpful either, but showed that they lacked any understanding of the seriousness of the situation.
I wouldn't trust a single information on their menu anymore.
Cons: Incorrect labeling - wtf???, Dishes are not trustable to be vegan, No understanding staff

Vegans should not go there! Zero stars but happy cow doesn't let me. - Edit
Vegan people are NOT safe here!
Read moreWe just eat there and we had the breakfast dosa and indo french toast. The menu generally was showing if something contains egg or other animal products.
Both of our meals WEREN'T labeled that it contains anything from animals.
When the french toast came we already were wondering why it looks like an egg french toast. We double checked the menu. No label!
Then we asked the waitress. And she told us it contains egg!!!! I told her that is not okay but she just came up with really weird explanations why it is not labeled and why it contains egg.
What the hell was that?!
Oh and the dosa was totally plain in taste.
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Vegan labeled meals that are NOT VEGAN, Poor way of dealing with complains, Expensive

One of the very best meals we had in Bali! - Edit
The food was amazing, the space was very relaxed and incredibly clean, the staff is super polite, the view of the temples out the front, and the side window was a total bonus. The drinks were also amazing. Highly recommend this and would come again, and again!

The best vegetarian restaurant I have ever had - Edit
The owner of the restaurant incorporates ancient principles of Ayurveda into their menu and sources a diverse range of Indonesian ingredients. I deeply appreciate their commitment to the "From Garden to Table" concept, and it's truly amazing how they create flavorful vegetarian dishes. I must admit that I was a bit surprised when I tried the shakshuka(I thought there’s pork inside).
Read moreThe wide variety of sambel (sauce) options made with indigenous spices added depth to the flavors. The owner's vision resonates with my own goals of embracing local food and finding a balance between our daily diet and its impact on the environment.
I could spend an entire day there, working on my computer and enjoying all three meals. In fact, I ended up visiting twice in one day😎
My favorites are the Rösti stack, shakshuka, and Yuka fries.

Great if you want something special - Edit
We loved the food there. While it's marked as a vegan restaurant on Google maps, it was vegetarian. But so many vegan option and the food (and drinks) were absolutely delicious. Also loved that it was different from the typical dishes you get at most other restaurants around here.

long wait not really worth it - Edit
a nice vibe and concept but unfortunately we waited ages for our food they brought over 4 cassava crisps between 3 of us for the wait but this didn’t exactly make up for an hour wait for food. the cauliflower curry was really lovely and tasty but the dosas were a bit bland and the accompanying chutneys weren't tasty or authentic

Really nice place, many vegan options, but a little bland. - Edit
I ordered the Nasi Campur and had rice cakes as they didn’t have the red rice. It was fine, with some really nice elements, but it lacked any real flavour. It was also pretty expensive for what it was.

Good atmosphere, some vegan options, pricy - Edit
It's a nice looking place and it's open relatively late, which is nice.
Read moreIt's a vegetarian restaurant, serving dairy and eggs. Vegan options are scattered throughout the menu, but are mostly not specifically identified as such. Some items that seem like they'd be vegan are actually not; be sure to ask, and be specific about ingredients you don't eat.
Food tasted good but not astounding, and portion size was reasonable. It's expensive even by Ubud standards.

I've definitely had better dosa. They focus on health, which is good, but the taste is lacking a bit.. It was a nice find, though, and good that it was nearly all vegan!

Healthy food, bit expensive - Edit
We've been twice in this nice little, mostly vegan spot. Actually all the dishes are vegan but you can order some vegeterian extras like an egg.
Read moreStaff was always really friendly, the food mostly delicious, especially the green bean stew. Some dishes lack a bit of flavor but you can improve that with salt & pepper.
Not that many options for vegan protein in the menu and all in all bit pricey (as often in Indonesia hidden costs, as prices are shown without taxes and service).
Delicious juices even though not a big variety.

Best ayurveda food in Ubud! - Edit
Dapur Usada is an almost completely vegan restaurant with delicious ayurvedan food. There is also a lot of information about the three doshas and how the food on the menu balances them. A very cool concept - I loved it there!
