A fun German must - Edit
We tried vegan currywurst and bratwurst here. It’s pretty simple, but it’s tasty and cheap! The staff were really friendly. It’s also right next to Topography of Terror, so a good stop to take when site-seeing

Didn't really like the vegan currywurst - Edit
Vegan currywurst just had curry powder, not a curry sauce. You could then add ketchup, chilli paste etc. I know it's not supposed to be high dining, but it wasn't very nice if I'm honest.

Cheap and cheerful - Edit
It's not exactly high-end haute cuisine, but if you want to try some currywurst while you're in Berlin, this vegan version is a fine pick! Grab a bench in the sunshine and enjoy the fact it's the same price to get a meal deal with beer as it is to get a meal deal with water. Simple, filling food.

Awesome vegan wurst - Edit
We had currywurst and bratwurst as this place does a vegan option for each. Great place to sit. This was our second visit to this place.

Not good for nut allergies - Edit
Loved my Currywurst and was happy to be able to enjoy this Berlin delicacy so close to Checkpoint Charlie, but my partner who was allergic to peanuts was very sad he couldn’t partake in the experience. Perhaps this place should use a more inclusive oil!

Nice to sit there - Edit
The currywurst is really not the greatest. The ketchup is just not as good. However, its city centre and its hard to find a currywurst at all these days (and a vegan one even more). Its quite though. In the garden its quite nice to sit, its like a litte oasis in the city chaos.

Good for a quick junk food stop - Edit
Small stand on the next street from Checkpoint Charlie with a small seating area.
Read moreTwo vegan options: vegan bratwurst or currywurst made from seitan which were tasty for a quick bite whilst in the area but I wouldn’t go out of my way to come here.
The currywurst was just the seitan sausage with curry powder on top (don’t get me wrong, it was still delicious).
Great to have these options available in what would be a typical meat stand.
Pros: Currywurst cooked in separate fryer, Close to tourist attractions, Quick service
Cons: Bratwurst cooked near meat, Very simple food

Average - Edit
Stopped here for a quick bite to eat after visiting the Topography of Terror. Nice to see two vegan options on the menu, we went for the vegan Currywurst and ordered a side of Chips/fries separate. The sausage is cooked separately in a fryer away from the meat. I was expecting a tastier Currywurst sauce , instead it was covered in ketchup with some curry powder on top , it didn’t have that kick! - the side of chips was kind of small too for the price.

Was hoping for more - Edit
The sausages are fried next to the meat sausages so I went for the vegan currywurst that they cook separately. I also had a portion of fries. I went there quite hungry and wasn't satisfied after the food. Sausage was OK but nowhere close to the taste or consistency of a real currywurst. Location might be nice in summer but at the moment you can't enjoy your food as there is no inside seating and no public place near by that is heated.
Read moreThere are many other tasty vegan restaurants in that area. Wouldn't eat at this restaurant again.
Cons: All sausages are fried at one place, No nice place to have the food during winter, Tiny portions

Stumbled upon this place whilst visiting museums & it had both vegan bratwurst and currywurst. Really nice to try the food that you see all around Berlin! It also has real seating so you can sit down and enjoy your food.

Tasty - Edit
This place had a vegan currywurst and bratwurst, seperate or in meal deals with a side of chips and a drink. Was ok value for under 10€ however expected the meals to be bigger, aka bigger side of chips or more add on selection for bratwurst/currywurst. Only had tomato sauce and chilli onion sauce that was vegan as well. It was tasty food and left us somewhat satisfied but just seemed overpriced for the amount of food we got, as it’s in a touristy area near museums etc it seems like a quick stop for all tourists to get a quick meal, so expect that when going there.

Had the most delicious vegan currywurst meal here, with fast service. Would highly recommend to fellow vegans, not sure you experience Berlin without a currywurst and this is one of few that have a vegan option

Vegan currywurst! - Edit
I was very happy to find out this stall offers vegan currywurst just next to Topography of terrors. Usualy these takeaway stalls only offer some traditional non-vegan food, so big plus for them. It is a great spot if you want to try the traditional Berlin combination veganized. The local beer is good as well.

An oasis in the city center - Edit
I was really having a difficult time finding things to eat while exploring the city and this was the best I found. Really nice to see a traditionally meat shop to include vegan options of the same thing they offer. Really liked it and it is exactly at the former Berlin wall, you cannot miss it.

So happy I got to try - Edit
The stand was open even though it was snowing!! With a little rain jacket and standing tables and even a heater! I liked how the sausage for vegans was cooked separately, in a frier with the chips rather than on the sausage grill. Also the man remembered me and gave my order right to me, preventing any mix up. Amazing!

I had the vegan currywurst here. And although being organic from the brand Taifun (at least then) the dish was small and the sausage very dry. No, this place has to do better. Curry36 has a much better sausage!
