Nice vibe, food 50/50 - Edit
I have mixed feelings here.. The vibe is nice, it’s a small but cozy place around 10/15 min from the center. I have to give it to them, the menu is pretty bold - roll with popcorn, peanut butter, smoked tofu, taco roll or a pizza roll lol
Read moreBut when my set arrived, some were amazing (tempura, panko) and some were a miss (avocadomaki and grzaniec 2.0). It felt like the flavor was bland and the components didn’t go well together. In all of them the rice was not proper sushi rice - did they use not the right kind, was in undercooked?
I feel that people still enjoy this place. All props for the full vegan menu and the creativity, but compared to other vegan sushi, Cudo still needs some improvement in execution.
Pros: Nice vibe, cosy, Pretty dishes/ jars
Cons: Rice was not right, which is fundamental , Taste pallets not balanced

It has a cute outside sitting area and the sushi is encredeble. The waiter we had was really sweet and talkative, and her english was very good. I will recomend this to anyone 100%

Outstanding Sushi - Edit
A little outside the dead centre of Poznan but not too far, we sat outside side by side in a cute little booth. The food was outstanding, we ordered too much so it was sushi for breakfast too!

I gave them multiple chances but I just don’t love their sushi. Creative as it is, it still doesn’t do it for me taste-wise. During my last visit, i got some lettuce to go with my sushi that had a lot of sand on it, very unpleasant experience. They were very busy on that day but still, washing the food carefully should be a high priority…

Do tego jadłyśmy też 3 mochi w różnych smakach, z czego kokosowe było najlepsze zdaniem mojej przyjaciółki, jednakże powątpiewam w fakt że są wyrabiane w restauracji
Na zewnątrz przy ulicy jest tez mały ogródek z widokiem na ulicę

Very inventive sushi ideas. Loved the taste and the nice Staff. I ate a weekend special which was pizza sushi and it's was as awesome as it sounds! Great place.

For vegan and non-vegan sushi lovers! - Edit
CUDO is a new spot on the vegan map of Poznań. I have not visited it yet but I have already ordered a tasting set as a take-away. The food was really good, I think they polished their recipes to the very end before the opening and I am fully satisfied with the tasting set.
Read moreOne thing I don't really like is that if you order the food home via Glodny app, the proces are considerably higher than in the menu that you can see on thier FB fanpage (excluding obvious costs of delivery). I don't think a package is so epensive, really. Still, pricing is acceptable in comparison with other Polish vegan sushi restaurants (as in Warsaw).
Edited17.02.2022: Finally I visited them in person. I upload a photo of a valentine set for two. My husband (who eats meat and is a sushi lover) said it was the best vegan sushi he has ever eaten. It seems that it is a place for non-vegan people as well.

I loved eating here, there is lots of options and sets if you dont know what to choose. The veggies are marinated and the rice is very fresh. Its a little out of the city centre but worth it.

We’ve had a shiitake tartare for starters, a sushi set and a bowl of ramen. Service was great, food was great. The place isn’t too big but it fits the casual sushi experience.

Nice vegan ramen, avocado dragon and mochi - Edit
I would recommend their vegan ramen and the avocado dragon sushi roll. My favourite mochi is sesame. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would eat there again!

If sushi in general is too expensive for you, go there at lunch time. They have great deals each day. My lunch set cost 19.90 Zloty and included wakame salad, lemonade, ramen soup and 6 sushi. Everything tasted great and i was served very fast. I also got the mochis: sesame, peanut and matcha. I liked matcha the best as it sas the most authentic of the three. But all of them were delicious and homemade!
