Absolutely delicious - Edit
The food was reaaally good. It's a self-service restaurant, so you get your food while you order! Perfect for when you're really hungry. You get to choose from 6 main course dishes and 6 salads, from which 5 are vegan. I paid €16 for a main course with 2 salads and a drink.

There are a few of vegan meals which you can have with two different salads. The portions were huge and very delicious! The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was the best vegan food we had in Dublin.

The five piece breakfast is so yummy. Especially the frittata and their sausages. It really fills you up and comes with a cup of coffee or tea. Water is free flow

Not really that hungry but went anyway :) - Edit
We just had our third portion of vegan sushi in a couple of days. The dot of wasabi might not pack a punch, but the dish is really tasty. Had some lasagna and moussaka here as well. It can't top my homemade moussaka (which is better because there's no coriander in it ;)), but it's delicious anyway!

Amazing, real, healthy, delicious, satisfying food. - Edit
I ended up eating at this restaurant for almost every meal during my stay in Dublin because it was so good. I absolutely loved the upstairs eating area, decor, and the location. The food is delicious, satisfying yet not overly filling, healthy and so tasty! The portions are very generous and so many to choose from. The only downside for me was that I arrived before breakfast had ended yet all the food was finished, they did not have lunch ready so they shrugged suggesting I wait a half hour before ordering anything.other than that occasion the staff were lovely and friendly.

Worth a visit and lots of vegan choices - Edit
Tasty & wholesome food, 4 out of 5 main dishes were vegan and so were all the salads. I took the korma which was not particularly spicy plus a couple of nice sides salads. I was hungry which was just as well as the plate was stacked high. Possibly slightly expensive in total but it is central Dublin and quality is good.

Amazing food~ Great atmosphere - Edit
This place saved me while in Dublin. Ate every lunch and dinner here but one meal. Tremendous portions, great hot selection at least 5 entrees and super salads. Almost everything vegan, great selection of hot and cold drinks. Friendly knowledgable staff. Let you split order when it was too hard to choose. Enchiladas were amazing and their daily stew always a winner.

I go here very often and am never disappointed. They have great selection of food, it's creative, delicious, and very filling. You get your money's worth too. Great for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Read moreI also noticed they have become increasingly vegan than vegetarian, it's great to see vegan food dominating the menu. They have some raw options as well with the soups and deserts. I love that they use a lot of vegetables and grains instead of relying on processed meat alternatives.
I always recommend Cornucopia in Dublin to everyone.
Pros: Delicious food, Inexpensive and filling, Vegetables and grains dominate the dishes

Nice restaurant in trendy Dublin area - Edit
Eating at Cornucopia was a treat. Arriving just before 12:00 we were still able to order from the breakfast menu, but they also offered us some items from the lunch menu.
Read moreI chose to have the Irish breakfast, and my mother had a salad bowl. For the Irish breakfast, you get to choose five items from the breakfast buffet, including: vegan sausage, beans, roasted mushrooms, sauteed red onions, vegan scrambled eggs (tofu based), quiche (dairy) and more that I'm forgetting. All of the dishes were tasty, but the tofu scrambled eggs and the sausage were my favorites. They have broken sauce available (similar to bbq sauce) - it went very well with the sausage. Along with the Irish breakfast you get a thick slice of their hearty bread and tea or coffee.
My mother's salad bowl contains a number of different salads, all vegan, and they were accommodating regarding food allergies and explained tous what she could and couldn't eat.
Cornucopia has a culture of "no wifi and sharing tables" - which we indeed benefitted from, as a lovely Dubliner joined us towards the end of our meal. She told us that she's been eating at Cornucopia since they opened 30(!) years ago, and is easy to understand why they have respect customers.
Despite other reviews here, we had prompt, efficient and friendly service.
Tip: eat upstairs in their Gregorian dining room. Its spacious, less busy, and beautiful.
Highly recommended. I've uploaded a photo of their lunch menu from the day we were there, but the menu changes daily.

Good, but not great - Edit
I'd heard so many good things about Cornucopia that I was expecting greatness. In fact I found it to be pretty standard canteen food - solid, but unspectacular. I had a potatoey pie and my partner had a maghmour stew, and they were both hearty portions.
Read moreIt was absolutely packed at about 1:30pm, with hardly any free seats and lots of people hovering nearby waiting, and the service was a bit confusing, so it wasn't an especially relaxing visit. If you're hungry it's worth popping in, but it won't be the culinary highlight of your trip to Dublin.

Went here for breakfast and I decided to try some of the vegan sausages with mushrooms. I had a vegan scone with that and some tea where I was offered a very wide selection of plant milks! My partner had the buttermilk pancakes and enjoyed these very much. I was very tempted by the vegan cupcakes at the counter which looked amazing!

So lovely! - Edit
It was my first time in Dublin and Cornucopia was the first place I found with vegetarian food, by accident. It quickly became the place I would come back to during my week in Dublin; not only because the food is delicious and they have a lot of variety, but for the lovely teas and nice drinks available as well. There was even one time I had the privilege to enjoy some nice live music while relaxing in one afternoon! Like this wasn't enough, the staff was so nice and with such good energy that all of this together created this curious and lovely atmosphere that gives you this kind of warmth inside when you come in, that you want to stay for some good time, even if you're there alone, like it was my case. WIll be back for sure, once I find myself in Dublin again!
