Nice place for a simple veggie brunch - Edit
Just a vegetarian here but we had a nice brunch at this place. I had the avocado toast with a poached egg and my partner had the mushroom omelet. Both were tasty and it’s a nice atmosphere for outdoor seating in an ally.

Tofu salad and tofu toasted sandwich. - Edit
Very tasty smoked tofu salad with creamy dressing, cranberries, different leaves, red cucumber. The sandwich was french bread toasted and filled with similar to the salad. I really enjoyed the salad I had. Also had an iced oat milk coffee. I couldn't see any cakes marked vegan so we went elsewhere for an ice cream.

Die Auswahl beim Frühstücken ist ausgezeichnet für kroatische Verhältnisse! Hatte das vegane Omlett und danach noch den Chia-Pudding. Der Service war sehr freundlich und das Essen kam sehr schnell. Alles in allem sehr gut zum Frühstücken. (Zur einer anderen Zeit waren wir nicht hier)

The breakfast menu includes multiple labeled vegan options. I chose the vegan omlette which was filled with tofu, salad, mushrooms, and chickpeas. It was delicious and also a big portion. Would recommend.

Went here this morning (May 2024) Vegan options were peanut butter & jam toast, açai bowl, tofu toast & vegan omelette which is what I had. Sort of like a savoury pancake with chickpeas, tofu, tomatoes, mushrooms, salad, & a lovely sauce (menu says bbq sauce but I’d say it’s closer to a burger sauce, or mayo/ketchup combo) Was €11

No vegan cakes or sweets - Edit
We went there because of the vegan cakes and sweets but in fact they don’t have any. The waitress told me that they don’t have it anymore since Covid started. The only thing they have is a vegan sandwich with avocado and tomatoes. Plus the prices are really expensive. Wouldn’t recommend going there.

Based on the reviews I almost did not go to this place, but I think they have changed the bread that they use. I actually thought this is a good place for brunch. We had the couscous salad, but requested to swap the tofu for avocado. Additionally we had the vegan toast, which looked great and the bread was also very good. Not the thin slices I saw on other reviews!

I had the tofu chickpeas sandwich for breakfast. I thought it was really good, just the bread could’ve been better but the rest it was. The staff was lovely and it opens early in the morning so it was perfect for breakfast while I waited for the ferry.

Coffee & Cake has a separate vegan breakfast menu and about 5 options. The vegan breakfast was very tasty! Very nice that this place is here. I had the chia pudding for breakfast and the avocado toast for lunch with gluten-free bread on request (normal bread turns out not to be vegan). Recommended!

They had soy milk for coffee which is a big deal in Croatia 🙈 however, there was only a small amount left in the carton and I’m not sure if the barista didn’t have more or didn’t want to open a new one, but my iced coffee was mostly ice and very little milk compared to the ice coffee with regular milk my friend ordered. Didn’t try any of the food.

Vegans can definitely go here for breakfast. It looks good and tastes delicious. Some of the staff could be friendlier, but they aren't really unfriendly, some of them seem rather bored. Unfortunately no vegan cakes.

There are practically no vegan options on the menu but the staff was nice enough to make any dish vegan if they can.

On my second visit I got the cereal with fruit but with almond milk (instead of yoghurt).
Any coffee drink can be made with plant based milk so do ask the staff before ordering.
Friendly and fast service and the prices are reasonable.
