Excellent food, excellent value - Edit
Really good find. I had the jackfruit BBQ ribs in a burrito with extra beans. Utterly delicious, and plenty of every element in a tasty wrap. Definitely didn’t need a side or a taco with it, a very filling lunch on it’s own

Club Mexicana 🧆🌯🌶️ - Edit
Best Mexican food I had in a while! I’ve been called a bad vegan a few times for not being the best fan of beans 🥴 and every time I go to a Mexican place is hassle for me 😂 I always ask for as little as possible of beans on my food (need to get the proteins gainzzz still 😂). I loved Club Mexicana as their menu is so varied and not heavy on bean as most other Mexican places are! I went for dinner in Kingly Court 2 nights in a row - this is how much I loved their food!

Fantastic - Edit
This place was so good. Finding vegan food is not all that difficult in this part of London, but as a traveler, finding a 100% vegan Mexican restaurant is amazing!
Read moreThe menu is a single page and easy choose from. I got the crispy chicken burrito with guacamole added, a side of tortilla chip’s & guacamole, and a beer. The burrito was honestly much better than I expected. I had to force myself to slow down. I will for sure come back here or detour to the covenant garden location.
While this Soho spot is small the patio seating was comfortable and lively, and the staff was fantastic. At the time of this review a 12.5% gratuity is added to all bills ☺️ (makes tipping easy peasy)

Fully loaded at Club Mexicana - Edit
Situated in the pretty Kingly Court with other food outlets the courtyard had a great vibe. You can’t miss the very pink 100% vegan “Club Mexicana” with its pink tables outside and pink interior to suit.
Read moreI’ve had to plough though some hefty menus recently so to find a simple menu with a limited choice of Mexican street food (Nachos, Tacos and Burritos) made for a nice change. I’d also read that the nachos were amazing and the service quick so why not … Nachos are £8.50 but why not try them fully loaded for a few quid more and share, or take some home 🤔
Fully Loaded Nachos £12.50. Served on a steel platter they covered the entire 12” x 9” surface and climbed to a height of 4” too. The nacho chips were not shop-bought or pre-flavoured. Plain light triangular nacho chips able to absorb the wonderful flavours and not detract. On them was an amazingly gooey light runny quest (cheese) sauce which again, isn’t overpowering with flavour, and simply enhances the texture of the food with a cheesy note. With this was absolutely loads of ground beef which has a good mince taste, their own fresh and light poco de gallo (chopped tomato, onion, and serrano peppers, with salt, lime juice, and cilantro), pink onions which a great depth of flavour, a mountain of fresh guacamole, smattered with spicy jalapeños and chipotle oil to give it a heat hit, and a chilli lime salt to balance it.
Modelo Especial beer £5.50 was as they describe - refreshing, clean, crisp and the perfect accompaniment to wash down a platter of nachos.
Even though I was hungry, I couldn’t finish them so they gave me a box to put them in. I had to eat a few more just to fit them in the box - wow, nice supper.
Nachos are subjective with each place having its own spin. They were on point, I couldn’t fault them and I wouldn’t change a thing. If you love nachos, try Club Mexicana’s fully loaded. You won’t be disappointed.
Would I return? On Taco Tuesdays where I can eat as many tacos as I like 🌮🌮🌮🌮🌮 from 5pm
Would I recommend it? You damn skippy I would
Pros: 100% vegan Mexican, Simple menu, Great food

Good tacos- nachos underwhelming - Edit
Good portion of nachos but I didn’t like the tortilla chips themselves and the ‘cheese’ sauce lacked flavour. The tacos were good- particularly the chick’n one and the bbq rib one. We had frozen cocktails which we enjoyed. I wouldn’t rush back as it didn’t leave me wanting more.

For those looking for a junk food fix - Edit
Buzzy place with a small but interesting menu. My group of three shared a regular nachos & then three taco varieties. The food was nice but very heavy and by the end we all felt like we could do with something a bit fresher/more veg centred; it’s all very faux meat focused. But if that’s what you’re in the mood for it certainly delivers. Meat eating friends have also enjoyed it here so could be a good place to bring the vegan-skeptical!

Tasty tacos - Edit
We tried to book and couldn’t but we were confident we would get a table. Wow this area is busy! They kindly offered to text when a table became available so a bit over 30 mins later we were seated at the bar counter. I ordered 3 tacos, the cheeseburger ones. They were soft tacos and they were really good. It was a small meal but I was full after that. My partner ordered the loaded nachos. It was a huge serving so I was able to share. I really liked the chips and the cheesy sauce that was used. Nice food in a busy area.

Great nachos - Edit
We had the loaded nachos and a Al Pastor Taco. The nachos were really good and a big portion. The Taco was too spicy for me, my friend had to finish it. I ordered the Taco without cilantro/coriander on top, nobody mentioned that there’s also cilantro in the sauce.

Taco Tuesday: £15 Unlimited Fresh Tacos - Edit
Club Mexicana is a vibrant Mexican restaurant inside of Kingly Court in the SoHo area. The menu is focused on tacos but also features burritos and nachos. When I found out that on Tuesday’s you can get unlimited tacos for £15 I knew I had to take advantage.
Read moreThe fine print: Once you get your seat after 5pm you are given one hour to eat as many tacos as you can. You can only order 3 of the same tacos at one time and must eat those before ordering more. One hour may not sound like much but it is plenty of time to eat more than you should.
The venue: Seating is available at the bar and at tables. Reservations are recommended especially for Tuesday. The restaurant has an open kitchen layout and upbeat music can be heard throughout. Outdoor seating is also available on a first-come first-serve basis. I sat at the bar which was made of a really nice stone and allowed me to watch the tacos being assembled. The cleanliness was also good.
Staff: The staff here were all extremely friendly and had unique personalities which made the dining experience feel more authentic. The service staff was attentive and prompted me for new orders once the tacos were finished. You can tell that the chef runs a very well organized kitchen. Each taco order came out very quickly and at a high-standard.
I started off with the BBQ Short-rib taco which was one of the best tacos I’ve had— bursting with flavor and well balanced by the creamy garlic mayo. Presentation was on-point for all the tacos. Then upon recommendation from one of the staff I went with the cheeseburger tacos which were also excellent. By the 6th taco I was starting to get full but I stormed ahead and ordered the Mexican Fried Chick’n tacos which were also nice but not my favorite. I finished out my meal with 3 more of the rib tacos, leaving me uncomfortably full. Did I eat to much? Yes. Do I regret it? Nope!
Club Mexicana is a great restaurant for those looking for delicious tacos and to challenge themselves to see how many they can eat on Tuesday (I overheard someone say the record is 21).

Totalmente recomendable.

4.5 - Really tasty! - Edit
We went to the branch in Seven Dials the other week and were really impressed with the Cheezeburger burrito & BBQ Short ‘Rib’ tacos, so were excited to come and try this branch too. Unlike the other branch, which is in a food court, this one is a sit down restaurant with servers. The menu was also slightly bigger, with skinny fries & a Mexican Fried Chick’n Burrito along with all the other options that were available in the Seven Dials branch. We went for the Mexican Fried Chick’n Burrito and BBQ Short ‘Rib’ Burrito, with a side of skinny fries. Unfortunately, I wasn’t really paying attention and forgot to remove the spicy ingredients from the burritos (I’m hopeless with spice) so the experience was soured for me by the spiciness of the burritos, although that’s obviously my fault and not a reflection on the actual taste of the burritos. My only slight criticism would be that I would’ve liked a bit less salad in the burritos and a bit more of the hot fillings, but aside from that and my mistake with the spices, they were really tasty. The skinny fries were also excellent and the garlic mayo they came with was delicious!
