Christopher & Jake's Bistro on Hwy. 53, a very short distance west of I-75 at exit 312, about midway between Atlanta and Chattanooga. They have a full list of vegetarian options, though none labelled vegan. The server said the vegetarian grilled chicken salad is vegan. And they happily substituted cucumbers for cheese on dishes when we asked. The two soups of the day both contained meat when we were there. Garden Burger Salad: As with all C&J's salads, this was served in a large bowl--a very generous portion. It had a nice selection of vegetables with the lettuce. When requested, they left off the cheese and added extra cucumber. The garden burger sliced over the top was a large one, and appeared homemade.
